He took power in 1985 and promised to return to civilian government in 1990, the date was changed to 1992 and subsequently 1993. The 1993 election was annulled to keep him in office. And Orji is telling me that the GENERAL has no intention either through any means whatsoever to stay longer in office. IBB was power hungry and had no intention to handover even before the June 12 saga. |

AlexBells: I stay in both Achara Layout and Mount, We will go through the processes, I will DM you, reply the DM, the part of checking the revenue and all of that is important, we would also use the opportunity to search for other minerals, financing won't be a problem, let's work on the approval first, once we get the approval, we can start with little, but the approval certificate would help us in getting investors, but I know that there is local market for coal and you never can tell what else we could find. Sorry the email I used for this account is not active. send me an email |

AlexBells: We get discussing about it, we will most likely follow legitimate process but we need to get on, the fact is that we got these resources and we should only need the approval of our state and immediate community, we shouldn't be looking at these things if the country is run the right way, but we got something that can keep us employed and in the next 50 years these things could become useless, we need to find ways to innovate on what we got transform it to not loose value over time, these things will only happen if we are granted access to it, I will tell you if you mine a cup nobody will talk, if you mine a full will Barrow nobody will talk, if you mine a truckload that's when they will begin to talk, we go with a cup then on and on before we get to the truckload, we should Already have people in the system too, we are going legitimate but we need to start bring out days when we hike and search find out what more we got Where do you stay in Enugu, Am a student of UNEC but am currently not in the state, but might likely come back next month. When am back, we might visit the office of the state commissioner for solid mineral or its equivalent... We would also check how profitable the business would be, the available market and surely government would have their own cut of the revenue. I just want it to be legitimate and I don't have the strength to be running from pillar to post when shit hit the fan. Another thing is finance, we need finance and a whole a lot of it for equipments. drop your contact and I will reach out to you |

AlexBells: Nice info, let's get making moves, first thing is to determine the current price of coal then research available market, even if it means getting a state contract, most of which payment will be after delivery, we try first, if our state has right to control such minerals, why is it wasting away when it can solve labour crisis and better the economy, Enugu particular had been dormant because I know the natural gas on Anambra is somehow in use, coal is not as useless even currently, there is market for it Its really a nice initiative, and I am very much interested but would only go through the legitimate means not because am afraid of going into illegal mining but for the love of my community. |

I am from Enugu and I can say that coal is abundant in Enugu.. we had to dig 3 different wells before having access to clean water in the Village.
Most of the well have a lot of oily fluid and smells awkwardly. I could mine coal in my backyard, my house was built on coal, some of my Dads farm land experience stunted growths due to the non compatibles of the soil because of the presence of coal.
Here in UGBAWKA, children stone each other with coal particles while playing because its is really shallow and could be mined with simple tools as hoes.. |

myBraine: Nice comparison OP but I'll like you to know that one thing makes them equal, and that's the good intention they have for we the citizens.
There's a popular saying that no one should judge a book by it's cover or name. Imagine, the most recommended book on wealth creation and finance is “Rich Dad Poor Dad.” Be honest OP, without any prior notice, can you walk into a book store and make purchases for a book with such a title or cover, and on the off chance that it is also based on the aforementioned niche? Definite, no. What I'm saying is that without any prior recommendation, you'll buy “Think and Grow Rich” a hundred and one light years ahead of the earlier mentioned book. That's because it has a catchy name (another dicey game for marketers though). You might want to decide to prove me wrong but the people that have read both will definitely prove you otherwise.
Back to the topic, Sars may have their own deficiency and unprofessionalism but they're obviously not as bad as people are portraying them to be. It is the digitization of our society that needs total reform and not Sars. We grew up with the knowledge of going to the farm but all of a sudden, everyone dropped their farming equipments (hoes and cutlasses) and picked up expensive gadgets as a replacement. How then will the next generations know our true calling and the beauty of our culture?
What we should be thinking of now is how to encourage our leaders to put the youths under obligation of working in the farm, even though they need rehabilitation in countries like Republic of Congo and Kenya first. Imagine if the youths are spending equal amounts of time they're spending with their smartphones on trees or inside bushes (planting crops, harvesting and so on), will Sars have been killing them in scores?
This digitalization of a thing is killing our agro-based economy. The hike in the recent price of rice have the youths to be blamed. Let the youths leave streets, pick up farm tools and see if Sars will not desist from killing or exhorting them. The country needs the youths for agriculture. When did you left the cave?? your solution is worst than the Sarz problem we are facing!!! |

Romance › She Used My Money To Vote For Laycon by Localemperor(op): 4:13pm On Oct 07, 2020 |
You all know how bad the economy of the country is, and how most people have either lost their job or are been underpaid during this pandemic.
So I was giving her money weekly to keep for me due to the nature of my job. I was planning on using the money to buy things and send to people in the village. I separated the money from my savings so I could accumulate it over time.
So far, I have given her 70k. When I ask for the money, she told me she used 30k from the money without telling me ( She refused to tell me what she used the money for). We had a little misunderstanding, ( on top my money oo). When I went through her phone, I saw votes amounting to 27k casted on the popular BBnaija.
we are not on a talking terms now and she has not called to apologized. |

UI, COVENANT, UNILAG, OAU, ABU, UNN
only ABU is among top 5, UNN is around 6th -7th position and it is only UNN that is popular in east
We have ABU, BUK, UDUS, FUTMINA etc what do you have in east You lack credibility, if you are what the north has got to offer, I give up. this are ranking of universities in Nigeria by webranking, an international organization.
