I went to secondary school in the 1990s in Eko Ile aka Lagos. Let me tell you a story. One of his sons named Timi was a senior in my first year at International School of Lagos. Timi was one of the NASTIEST bullies in that school.

One day I was chilling at the entrance of the gate of the school then without any provocation and warning this same Timi kneed me in the groin. I was shocked cos I did not do anything to deserve such maltreatment. I couldnt retaliate becos I feared even more beatings. So I just swallowed the shame and moved away.

Some time later something suprising happened. Some boys from another came in cars to fight Timi and his group in the parking lot of the school. Every student outside the wall near the parking lot was just watching the scruffle. One of the boys of Timi's group took out a small bottle with some dark liquid in it and drank some of it before he began to fight the group that came in cars.

Rumor has it that over the weekend there was a party in a house and Timi was there and that a fight happened at the party. So the boys in the cars wanted to get some retaliation. This is what I heard I was not at the party so I dont know what really happened there.

Now whats my point. This great men do not always raise their boys right. Watch the way their children behave and decide if they have received proper home-training.

Gov. Fashola should build public housing projects. Towers like you have in North American cities for instance Cabrini Green. Cos you gotta save space there is not much land in Lagos anymore. University of Lagos needs a lot of money to improve its infracstructure and technological facilities. This is what the students need: financial aid, facility upgrades, etc.
Go to Jaja and Moremi halls and see how the students are living. The facilities there are dismal. Students are paying thousands every year in tuition and they are being short changed every year.
Student population is growing and the university leadership know this but not much is being done to deal with the need to provide more lecture halls, better student housing on and off campus, technological and computer equipment. GEJ is inept and every young student in UNILAG knows this.
Changing the name of the university is not going to bring positive and progressive development to UNILAG. The money they are going to waste to change the name of the school can be spent on pressing needs.

What kind of English are you writing and speaking. Who Has The Strongest Military On Africa. It should be which country has the strongest military in Africa. Speak proper English if you are going to speak English at all.

The main reason Egypt has a powerful army is because they receive 1 billion dollars from the USA every year with which they must spend on weapons and hardware produced in the USA. Israel also receives about 1 billion dollars every year. That is why the Egyptians have M1A1 Abrams tanks, Cobra Helicopters etc. The Israelis also use the 1 billion dollars to buy M16 carbines and F16 Fighter Jets. I am not saying that they do not use their internal revenue to purchase armaments.

The Nigerian Military is very weak and unstable. Nigeria does not produce any of its heavy equipment. In 52 years Nigeria has not produced body armor for its servicemen talk less of tanks, or warships. Every piece of military hardware is imported and acquired through " hand me down procedures". Except for small military industry involving rifle and machine gun production and ammunition fabrication.

NPF is a very evil and corrupt organization. I always rejoice when they are killed by their enemies because we all know that they deserve to be killed.
