14 year old Julienne, teenager who was called a ‘witch’ due to her severely bowed legs , after a life-changing operation, can finally stand tall. She was just a baby when her mother, Veronique, from Cameroon, Africa, noticed her legs were bending abnormally.

Later, she was formally diagnosed with bowed legs, a condition that causes the knees to grow painfully apart.

Walking was a challenge and on the days Julienne couldn’t ride public transport, she had to walk to school. It would take almost two hours of painstaking effort under the sweltering sun to walk to school.

She was even rejected by relatives due to her condition and struggled to even stand sometimes.
Julienne received life-changing treatment by international charity Mercy Ships, who were able to straighten out Julienne’s legs and give her a normal life.

Her family couldn’t afford to pay for an operation, but thankfully the charity covered the costs.

After a successful operation, Julienne faced yet more hard work with physiotherapist Meg Crameri.

It took several months before Julienne was given the green light to return home.
When Julienne looks at photos of herself before the surgery, she doesn’t even recognise herself.

Nigerian media personality, Ik Osakioduwa has taken to his twitter handle to narrate how he escaped a fatal accident that may claim his life.

The accident which involved a large truck whose brake had failed, crashed into cars that were at the position where he left.

He said he noticed the oncoming truck, but sensed that its speed is usual and abnormal despite the fact that the traffic light's color is red.

He wrote:

"God just saved me from what would have been a terrible accident. While waiting at a stop light I noticed a speeding truck that didn’t seem to be slowing down. Even though the light was red I maneuvered to the front of the car on my right. I got out of the way in time.

Unfortunately, the truck still crashed into the car that was on my left, sending it right across the intersection. It also hit a car that was coming from the opposite side. Thank God for his mercy and protection. I believe everyone walked away with their lives"

Suspected armed robber, Mr. Akinola Akeem has been arrested at 11pm at Hub plaza, Mosalasi close, Sha sha, Lagos state, after he allegedly climbed the ceiling with an artificial leg.

The 34-year old man, and a father of 4 with one leg confessed that he came from Ijebu Ode, Ogun state to steeal in Lagos.

He made it clear that that was not his first time, he had already broken into two shops before he was caught.

He pleaded with securoty men on duty not to kill him and was later handed over to the police at Shasha Division. The police thereafter charged him before the Magistrates court sitting in Ejigbo for burglary. The suspect however, pleaded not guilty of the offence.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mr. F.K.J. Layeni granted him bail in the sum of N50,000 with two sureties and was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 25 April, 2018.

Viral deadly cult group operating around Ikorodu, Ishawo, Festac and Arepo, Lagos/Ogun state has been issued warning by the Nigerian Army.

The General Officer Commanding 81st Division, Major General Enobong Udoh, issued while briefing students of the German Armed Forces General Staff College, who were on a study tour to the Division.

He said he would never tolerate indiscipline and live with threats.

He said;
“As you must have heard, I have been to so many places, I have been to the northeast, and I was the GOC of 6 Division before I came here. Now that I am here, as you heard, there are some peculiar threats in this area of responsibility, threats that have to do with the metropolitan nature of Lagos, threats that have to do with the complexities of having so many formations of the Nigerian Army in Lagos."

“There is this particular threat of Badoo, who are cultists that operate in the night, and since I came here the threat is almost non-existent, but be that as it may I am an operational man, I will never live with this threat, I want to assure you that I will combat these threat to ensure that they are wiped out completely.

“I succeeded in doing that in the Niger Delta in the past one year and I can assure you that it will not be different here. So the cultists either turn a new leave or quit these states.”

General Udoh who was the General Officer Commanding in 6 Division in Port Harcourt led the troop that defeated Don Wayne earlier this year and also the Commanding Officer that led troops to rescue the Chibok Girls in Borno state. And according to him, he has the experience combat the Lagos-based cult gangs and pipeline vandals.

The Inspector-General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, on Wednesday, decorated Ibrahim Danjuma with his new rank of Commissioner of Police after he had been prosecuted and acquitted for the extrajudicial killing of five Abuja traders and a lady in 2005.

Danjuma was among 15 new CPs recently promoted by the Police Service Commission on the recommendation of the IG.

He had been suspended from duty on account of the alleged extrajudicial killing and was subsequently charged to court alongside Othman Abdulsalam, Nicholas Zakaria, Baba Emmanuel, Ezekiel Acheneje and Sadiq Salami as co-defendants for felony.

The trial Judge, Justice Ishaq Bello, of the FCT High Court found Danjuma, who was the first accused person, not guilty and accordingly discharged and acquitted him while Emmanuel and Acheneje were sentenced to death.

Meanwhile, the IG has warned police officers to avoid temptation from political actors as the 2019 elections draw near.

Describing the election year as “critical,” the police chief urged police personnel to be professional and steadfast.

He made the call during the IG conference with commissioners of police and other senior officers in Abuja.

Reacting to allegations of disobedience of court orders in respect of the unsealing of the Peace Corps headquarters, Idris said the Force had appealed the court order, adding that it had asked the court to stay execution of the judgment on the matter.

Commenting on the re-organisation of the Special Anti-Robbery Squad, he stated that the unit would now focus on violent crimes.

On the 2019 elections, Idris said, “Officers should be aware that from next year, we are entering a critical phase in the political space of this country and this critical phase includes most of the elections that would be conducted.

“Officers should be steadfast and obviously do their best to ensure that wherever you find yourselves, that you do your utmost best to ensure that the political situation is handled maturely and orderly.”

A 26-year-old man who has spent a whopping N21 million to look like a real-life elf has witnessed a remarkable transformation.

A fantasy fanatic who splashed $60,000 (N21,600,000) transforming himself into a real-life elf reveals his new pointed ears and anime jawline, according to a report by Dailymail.



The man identified as Luis Padron, 26, from Buenos Ares, Argentina, has been determined to transform himself into a mythical creature since his teens, after finding solace and acceptance away from bullies in the fantasy world.

On his way to achieving his dream, Lius had liposuction on his jaw, rhinoplasty, full body hair removal, laser skin bleaching, an op to create a ‘vampiric’ widow’s peak hairline, and more.
Last week in Los Angeles, Luis went under the knife to have his ears cut apart and reshaped to resemble the pointy appendages of an elf.

This was only shortly after he flew to see specialists in Korea to have his jaw broken, filed and screwed back together into a diamond shape, similar to an anime character.


Since his appearance alterations, he says he feels more comfortable in his skin and after fully healing he hopes to be cast in the new Lord of the Rings TV series as an elf.

Luis, a cosplay merchandiser, said: ‘These surgeries were necessary to become the fantasy being I want to be, now I feel closer than ever.
‘I feel a little bit of pain here and there, but it’s common considering how recent my surgeries are.

‘The V-line jaw surgery was performed by Dr Park of ID Hospital and consists of breaking, filing, and screwing the jaw to give it a perfect diamond shape.



‘After all the swelling goes down, I will look like an anime character, that’s what I asked the doctors for, an unreal fantasy jawline.
‘The other surgery is an ear modification, to re-shape it to look like an elf – Dr. Cristian Perez Latorre was in charge of that.

‘He was very famous in Argentina as a celebrity surgeon, he cut my ears and then stitched them to make them pointy.

‘When all the swelling goes down, the ears heal, and my vampire hairline starts growing more strong, I will start bleaching my hair and skin again.

‘The final shape will take a long time, because the same as the jawline, it takes months to heal but then finally I will start feeling like an elf.

‘I feel closer than ever to my dream, I still have to heal and make some touch-ups to be complete, but I am finally close to my goal.

‘I hope I can have a role in the Lord of the Rings TV series – with that, my dream of being an elf would become a reality.’

His recent modifications have cost Luis around $20,000 (£15,000), he kept the ear surgery secret from loved-ones who he claims remain supportive of his alterations.

Luis said: ‘It was a surprise surgery, I didn’t tell my family or followers that I was going to do it until it was done.

‘They were shocked, but they saw how nice it looked and they felt happy for me, because they know how long I have been waiting for this.

‘It is always one step backwards to go two steps forward, the next plan will be eye shaping and lifting, then fillers.

‘I have also considered a fantasy nose in Iran, BrightOcular eye colour changing in India and new hair colour bleaching laser treatment.’

Luis’s fixation on the fantasy genre began during his teens, after he delved into the make-believe world to escape bullying.

He became determined to emulate his favourite otherworldly characters finding inspiration from films such as Labyrinth and The NeverEnding Story.

Luis said: ‘I was bullied as a child and as an escape I would submerge myself in fantasy movies and other fantasy tales.

‘Over time things changed, older teens liked me because I was unique and that’s what encouraged me to start turning what I felt on the inside into a reality.
