I think we need to step up the edu-entertainment of this thread. Virtually every intending corpers like to work his or her service post to some state which they have little information about. Infact some are working it to the prefer state because the state govt pays high allowance. We shouldnt forget this current nysc policy. So i think we need to invite people that have served or that are currently serving to furnish info abt our prefer state and also they should tell us abt their ppa. Please if you are serving now, please do us a favour by telling us wat u knw abt that state u are nw. Thanks

Congratulation in advance. Getting admission into canada universities is not that hard once You meet up with the admission criteria, so You need no or little prayer here. From your post if truely You struggle to get your application fee, my advice for You is to pray harder to get a scholarship for the program You applied for. This will reduced the financial burden of yours.
If You don't mind which course and type of degree( undergaduate or graduate) did You apply for?

Let me tender my own case now, am currently in my final year studying Mining Engineering. My dream is to work in oyel industry, my plan during NYSC is to apply for any advertised oil and gas work in Nigeria and also for Msc in Petroleum Engineering in Canada.So any one that comes first i grab sharp sharp. I just pray oyel work comes first. @who knows tomorrow(T22) and others. Please I want You to compare and contrast thesis based master and a taught master. I have been trying to search for the advantages but to no avail. I heard that those that did thesis based are those wishing to go into academic line and they have slim chance of landing an industrial job compare to a taught master degree. I wish to do taught programme in master degree in petroleum engineering but due to lack of fund I intend going for a thesis based because most time there are funds. Thanks bro.
