That's not the case, companies frequently change office equipment, sometimes access is forgetten to be wiped from the computer. And these are the same equipment some of our foreign used sellers import to the country.

Please I bought a used Samsung A54. I don't have any issues with the device. Although I observed most of the samsung app were missing. I probed further and realised the phone recognises me as a guest.

They said the IT admin has access to the phone and can delete or install an app at will.

I checked the device policy, an app I can't uninstall on the phone. It's been like a month now.

Any help with this? How can I remove this stuff it shows.

I have a device like this, a macbook used by Door dash. In your case the only way to remove it is to check if you reflash it with a custom rom

Last week my mother in-law was sent an iPhone 12, Samsung s23 and Samsung S4 watch from UK, the sender didn't inform me she will be using DHL and I didn't know she will be sending brand new phones. She once used DHL to send few items in the past, so she believed she wouldn't have any problem with them.

She said they charged her close to 200k there to have all 3 items sent.

Item got to Nigeria and I got a link to make a payment of over 1.2m to clear the items. They claim Nigeria custom took over the items after they noticed the original amount was not declared.

The sender declared a total amount of 1,200$.
DHL claimed custom reviewed the amount n inflated it 2500$
The sender after this provided them with screenshot of her purchase from Argos yet this fee wasn't reviewed.

I was advised to go to their stand for airport and negotiate with them which I'll do before the week runs out.

If you've experienced this before or know a way out or you know how I can bring down this amount, kindly drop comment. My number is also available Incase you want to DM. I don't want to go there without knowing how to go about this.

this stuff is peculiar with DHL, other couriers don't experience this stuff. It think they are working in conjunction with customs to extort Nigerians. By right you are not supposed to pay any pickup fee, you've already paid $125 for sending, and even if you are paying any amount it shouldn't be upto half the worth of the goods that's plain robbery.

Akwa Ibom state is the second largest oil producing state. Despite billions of allocation given to the state by the federal government, nothing much to show. My brothers and sisters there are living in penury, no work , nothing to show. A lot spent so much resources, gone to school even to Ph.d level still no work. Because they managed to construct roads and built some infrastructures, they've tried, and fóolish people keep on singing their praises to high heavens without knowing how much these people gulped every month. Tackle poverty in Akwa Ibom by giving our graduates jobs ,create skills acquisition centres for those who are unable to go to school. The rate of poverty and suffering in that state is saddening and does not depict the fact that Akwa Ibom is one of the richest state in Nigeria.

I agree with you especially about the case of the north. Those people don't really care if this country moves forward, I don't know why they keep listening to their leaders despite the sufferings, I can tell you for a fact, if Tinubu pays their leaders to tell their people to stay at home and not join the protest they will do it.. Dave Umahi convinced Tinubu that concrete road is better than road constructed with bitumen that it last longer and cheaper. Then, a bag of cement was around 3,500 and 4,500.

Tinubu proposed construction of Lagos Calabar coastal highway and passed it in the budget. As soon as the project is about to start, dangote and other cement manufacturers met and increased the price of cement to 10,000 Naira from 4,500 naira. That is more than 100% price hike within few days .

Tinubu summoned dangote to Aso rock and demanded, why the sudden increase in the Price of cement. Dangote could not give any reason, he blamed the price hike on demand. Tinubu made it known that all the cement raw materials are locally sourced and wonder why they increased the price. Then he advised the price be reviewed.

Till now, no significant decrease in the price of cement and the this affects the price of road projects budgeted by the government.

Now, dangote is calling the Tinubu government to stop importation of refined fuel to assist local refineries and Tinubu turned deaf hears.

My take


Nigeria stop importation of rice to assist local rice producers when bag of rice was 10,000 naira. After importation was stopped Nigerian rice producers increased price from 10,000 naira to 30,000 naira per bag, then 50,000, and now 70,000 naira per bag. If you asked them, they will blame high demand.


Definitely if importation of fuel is stopped, local refiners will hold meetings again and start milking Nigerians with habitrary increase in fuel price.

Should dangote even demand for stoppage of importation of refined oil in the first place? After all he is exporting his refined oil and making money.

Your take is flawed. If manufacturers face a 300% increase in electricity and fuel costs, along with several other indirect taxes due to Tinubu's policies, they cannot maintain the old prices for their products. It's simple maths. Except you know their profit markup after the increased taxes.

Now you know why Goodluck Jonathan had to be ousted:

- He didn’t bow to the IMF, World Bank, and Obama’s pressure to sign bills and policies that would obviously disenfranchise Nigerians.
- Obama sent David Axelrod to help Buhari into power.
- Your suffering is directly connected to the bad policies Buhari implemented according to their agreements with Western powers.

- Tinubu is a friend of the West despite clear evidence that he was not the best choice for us.

- Tinubu’s ambition has led him to sell out 250 million Nigerians to the West.

- The IMF and World Bank asked him to increase tariffs on electricity and taxes on daily financial events. Every economist knows this kills a growing economy like Nigeria. Even Tinubu knows this, but his ambition is so insatiable that he is willing to sacrifice the lives of millions of Nigerians to achieve it.

- They asked him to tax Nigeria excessively and raise interest rates on loans to up to 30%. Even Dangote was surprised at this move. Access Bank is currently charging 168% on small loans per annum, which is extremely harmful to the economy.

- Tinubu knows this but chooses to go along with it because he is under blackmail to protect his position as President.

- Now he’s signed a loan bill that would allow a 'process' to legalize LGBTQ rights in Nigeria.

- Keep in mind, Nigeria is not the first to receive these kinds of deals (Do this , then you recieve so so AMOUNT OF LOAN that you can steal, & contractize to your stooges and we will keep a blind eye, that the country obviously can't repay, but you can collaterize all our future output of natural resources on). Ghana and Kenya have also received similar deals, leading to ongoing protests in Kenya.

- Being a Muslim means nothing to the elites; they only use it to deceive poor voters.
- They tell us Nigeria has currupt Leaders, but they did'nt explain how those currupt leaders came into power. They did'nt explain how these so called currupt leaders are so beneficial to western economic interests, trading away our countrty's natural wealth and resources to western interests for pennies robbing the citizens in exchange for western assistance to seize and stay in power.

I need information guys. I’m so pissed and annoyed and I haven’t been myself since yesterday.

I bought a German shepherd puppy less than a year ago and I spent money on her a lot, i mean a lot. Routine vet visits, expensive canned food, noodles and dry food, up to date on all vaccinations, I even hired a personal dog groomer to make her look really beautiful and attractive all the time.

If I calculate the amount I’ve spent on this dog, you’ll think I spent it on a girl I’m planning on marrying. Her parents are good looking German shepherds, in fact the dad is actually an imported GSD from the UK. The dad is agile, ferocious and will rip any stranger apart but my pup has always been too docile and can only bark when she’s inside a cage. That’s discussion for another day.

I never bought her with the intention of breeding her for puppies to sell, I bought her because I needed a pet and I swore never to mate her with any dog. Sadly I traveled out for schooling and I left her with a friend who I regularly send money to for her upkeep.

I noticed that my friend had the intentions of mating her for puppies because he really needed money and since I won’t be in Nigeria anytime soon, I reluctantly agreed on the conditions that he select a pedigree GSD stud for her. She came on heat 2 days ago and I discussed with my friend and gave him contacts of a guy with a good GSD stud. Yesterday night I was studying when he sent me pictures of her being mated by a Bingo!!!! A fvcking ekuke! A stupid 404 whose destiny and life purpose is to end up in the pot of a calabar man with pot belly. She had even achieved the lock position with the stupid ekuke. I was angry and I knew that if I was there, God knows I would have murdered that ekuke with my bare hands. How that ekuke entered the high fenced compound is a mystery to me.

How my friend could be so negligent to allow this to happen. The thing with male ekuke is that they don’t mate once and he was with her all night. Now I am thinking of telling my friend to take her for an abortion if she gets pregnant. No dog of mine is giving birth to pups fathered by an ekuke.
