fammo: Here we go again, for the past 16 yrs of democracy rule, who were the governors, the ministers, senators, local government chairmen etc Military men? Yes but few, infact very few compared to the overflowing agbada donning, pot bellied flaunting civilians who made up a very large percentage of the men who have controlled the affairs of this country for the past 16 yrs of democratic rule. The last administration headed by a civilian had the opportunity of turning the reproach of this country to a thing of the past and make this country a glittering diamond emerged from the harsh and unfriendly process of refining, there was oil price boom in the world, other oil producing countries stepped up dia game, made life better for their people. What did our big round hat wearing government do......er....nothing....except if u want to consider the looting, stashing and carting away of money meant to make lives better for the populace, provide help to those in need of it and give this country it so desperately longs and thirsts for.....how many years does it take to build the complex bridges of apapa, the seemingly unending third mainland bridge in Lagos, the breathtaking national art theatre in surulere and the list is endless. how many of these were built under military rule and how many a structure to be compared to the aforementioned were built by civi administeration.....lemme see...2nd Niger bridge, if u will consider a proposal as something substantial. ponder on these my friend and I will be here waiting for ur reply...I love Nigeria!
Your epistle doesn't change the fact that military men have taken over politics; even the so called "last administration headed by civilian", the president was hand picked by OBJ. You can paint the military white all you want, facts remain facts.
Krasid: Heck, even Ben arfa has scored solo goals.I want you to describe the goal with a phrase or word if it's not a solo goal.
Aha. You mention Bef Arfa. Yes, even he scored a solo goal. It appears even he is more individually talented than your man whose stock in trade is to throw a million useless leg-overs. A solo goal is preceded by a solo run. That's why the goal starts from way off (as far as center circle or more). It could still be solo if it was a packed box. But here, your man simply managed to dribble 2 players and blasted past a 3rd and the goalie.
fammo: Most of the infrastructure we enjoy in this country today where done during the military Era. Check the bridges, the road networks, dams, refineries all where constructed under military rule and politicians will have us believe that the military did more harm than good.....what is most disheartening is the level of mediocrity among the populace and politicians are seriously cashing in on it. That's why they share bags of rice, garri etc with their faces on it, we hail them. They construct a 5km road that won't even last 6 months before pot holes start springing up and you'll see heavy road launching ceremony with women wearing political "Aso Ebi" dancing under the sun and they go home with the 5k thank you for coming envelope at d end of the day for songs rendered in honour of thieving politicians. Wonder what the way forward is for my dear country....
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I don't know who else you think would be responsible for building our infrastructure when soldiers took over 6 years after independence and basically had control till 1998. Even right now, they simply shed their uniforms and wore Agbada to join politicians. So who are the leading thieves we have in politics right now? Were they not soldiers? Even Alams is retired military. Do your check yourself and see how these military rogues transformed into looting politicians.
FYI, Obafemi Awolowo of blessed memory used the Western Region's Cocoa money to drive rapid infrastructural development. Many of the buildings and establishments still stand today.
Krasid: Answer the question. Is that a solo goal or not?
If it was a solo goal, that means most footballers have scored solo goals. With this even Victor Ikpeba's goal in the U17 Final in 1985 becomes a solo goal. Please let's not denigrate the meaning of a solo goal as that is a direct attack on the person of Messi and other great players who have scored solo goals.
Let's put it this way, the whole world start the move of a solo goal from the center of the field and beyond; ONLY C Ronaldo scores solo goals that start from the edge of the box. You gotta give it to that guy. He really is special.
Oh, by the way how can you start a move from so far away without encountering at least 3/4 players; except you are playing against mannequins?
sebod: Sir, by your definition, all goals scored are solo goals since no two persons can score a goal together. So once a player scores a goal ALONE (which is the only way), he has scored a solo goal. BRAVO!
LOL. Brilliant use of logic to expose dimwittedness.
Krasid: I asked for his definition of solo goal and he was beating around the bush.He finally came up with a definition which described a solo goal as beating several players before scoring. Now logica, would you consider the goal below as a solo goal. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErcAWM5-ffU
Dribbled 2 players? LOL. I thought you said you will find 3?
ElDeeVee: Who is this one So for your mind now, you have to dribble to score a solo goal. I'm surprised sha.
Solo is not even English, its Italian and it means alone. Stop this argument abeg
...and who is this dimwit who doesn't know what "solo-goal" is even after the meaning of the phrase and examples abound in previous posts...u better get the fvck out of here...LOL at "solo is not English...it is Italian"...tell us more.
The funny thing is, the inferiority complex suffering individuals like the OP are the ones the Oyinbos use to destroy the country. They will then turn around and say "you see why Oyinbo is smarter - our country is a mess".
English apparently is not your forte. Well, not just English; football terminologies. You think you can just make up your own definitions? A 40-yarder is NOT a solo goal. Are you Krasid or his double? I don't have the time to educate you, so do yourself a favor and read previous posts before exposing yourself to further ridicule.
Krasid: What is this shit? This is more of a description than an actual video.
You continue to expose your ignorance. This was a league match in 1961. I have seen the goal myself, so whether it is the real video or not is a non-issue. If you have a problem with reading (dyslexia), then Google "Gol de Placa"...otherwise read the description of the goal on FIFA website.
Even John Barnes and Ryan Giggs have scored solo goals...hahahaha...yet Tapinaldo cannot score one; yet he considers himself one of the best. Shameful.
Krasid: You are a fraud that has been exposed. You can't just tell me that both have scored while dribbling the entire opposition and expect me to believe it.Ok, I am a novice in football and just started watching in 2015.Help me by posting the videos of Pele and George weah dribbling the entire opposition to score.
Seems u r not only stvpid, u are also blind. Or you phone cannot be used to watch videos?
Rossikk: You saying she should be allowed to go free with our stolen billions of dollars? Not sure I get you. That Aminu's son spends big in Abuja doesn't necessarily mean he stole billions of dollars. I think your madam's problem stems from the extraordinarily huge amounts she is reputed to have stolen.
OK, so where did Aminu make all that money from? Did he win The Nobel Price or was it his salary? Mind you, she's not my madam. I am just being objective here.
Also look at Danjuma; how did he come about an oil well? Yet he's the major financier of Buhari. Will Buhari actually stand straight and say Danjuma was not corrupt? Please.
Krasid: Yet you say players like George Weah has scored solo goals and CR7 hasn't? I would like to see the videos of Pele and G.weah scoring 'solo goals'.
Hahaha...indeed you are an imbeci1e. If you are indeed a student of football, you would have seen videos of Pele and George Weah dribbling the entire opposition to score. Pele did this with Santos, Weah with AC Milan, in the year he won World, European and African best player (the only man to ever do that). Go get digging ogbeni...
