NIGERIA : The land of generals without war, professors without discovery, politicians without ideology, wealth without prosperity, religion without piety, leaders without vision, the oppressed without worries, courts without justice, criminals without fears, history without glory, heroes without honor, schools without learning, artists without taste, intellectuals without thought, terrorists without identity, appointees without life, hunger without famine, change without progress, next level without foundation, democracy without citizens, unity without love, heroes without sacrifice, policies without plans, crime without
culprits, saints without humility, integrity without performance, wars without enemies, billionaires without business, youth without dreams, elders without wisdom

I weep for Nigeria!!

Wow!! This is deep and indeed worrying.

Thanks a lot for the breakdown, I really appreciate. Please help me with the below concerns.

MPA don't award points for experience DIBP does?

Also, I have HND in Electrical/Electrical Engineering, is it DIBP that will give me the 10 points for it?

SUJYDEE:

After making payment you will get a mail to acknowledge the payment and that will serve as the receipt. In 3-5 days after, you will get your reference number and wait for the outcome which takes + or - 12 weeks.

The MPA is not mandatory, in fact you don't need it. Once you are able to get a positive outcome from them, just gather your documents again for DIBP to claim your point for your work experience.

Before now, during MSA TRA used to reduce number of years of work experience but they don't now. I guess they might do that during MPA. What you get now is when you are qualified to take on the nominated occupation and not when you started the nominated occupation.

Good day.

Please I have a question after paying the AUD1000 for your skills assessment which in their site takes btw 90days for the outcome after they(TRA) acknowledging receipt of documents/payment, and if successful u ve to then apply for MPA cost AUD600 and wait another 90days ?

The thing is quite confusing please gurus them i need explanation.

Thank you.

SUJYDEE:

Permit me to add to your comment........

IMO, since February 2017, TRA way of assessment has changed. TRA don't assess skills / work experience during MSA again, if you want them to assess your work experience.... They expect you to lodge Migration Point Advice after your positive outcome which is another AUD 600, that's why one can still claim maximum points from higher qualifications.

TRA positive outcome statement....... "You are eligible to take the job from XX/XX/XXXX (the date you completed your certificate 3/4)".

For example the gap might be 12 years till date and you have just 6 years work experience because of your BSc or B. Eng programme. TRA will just verify the 3 years work experience requirements and make their decision base on your evidences.

For you to now get your maximum points on work experience, you have to prove to DIBP what you had claimed in your EOI.

Oga Bellong, Thanks alot I appreciate. God bless You.

Good.. Godspeed and goodspeed.

Apply as an electrical engineering draftsperson. Check the Anzsco description for the occupation and pattern yours to it while writing CDR.

@Guitarlife,

I remember that it was writing of CDR that was the challenge at the time. If you had been persistent as I advised you, you would have forgotten that you passed through the process.
However, it is not too late. What has changed is that you require high points for faster ITA, at least 70 points. If you have 65 as an electrical engineer, you should be able to get ITA sooner or later.

MSc and BSc are both 15points. Go to Engineer Australia's website for all the information you need.

Whatever you want to be so far you are determined and focused, you can achieve it. Regardless of the current economic trend there are specific groups of people that make decent income through legitimate means; their secret is that they build a passive stream of income that doesn't require their full attention while they go about their daily activities. This is the way they do it; with as little as N1,000 ($2) investment you can build a sustainable stream of income and guaranteed financial freedom using a tested and trusted system, all you need are the following:
1). Internet Enabled phone,
2). Local Nigerian bank account, and
3). G-mail address.
Once these three requirements are in place you are already qualified, PM me through my signature on WhatsApp, you'll be added to the group where you learn everything about the program and how to join .
NOTE: You are not paying any money to me, I'm currently benefiting from the extra stream of income this program provided and I feel you should be a part of it.
..and remember no good thing comes easy........but we've made it simpler for you.

Good day all. I am very happy for a forum like this with so many first hand information. I should have dropped this message but i could not remember my password, thats sorted now.
I and my family arrived US through JFK two weeks ago and it was smooth & stress-free. The CPB only ask what we came to the States for, to have our baby we replied. Then he asked further any doctors appiontement, we presented the letter of responsibility from doctoresparati. He went through it and stamped us all 6months. No money declared, no secondary inspection, i could not believe my eyes - then i started glorifying God for His mercies and favour.

Like so many have said in this forum, be honest, it pays.

Thanks all.
