Article 22 Confirmation of fixtures and automatic reversals

22.01
The venues, dates (in accordance with the calendar in Annex C) and kick-off times for matches in the three qualifying rounds are fixed by each home club and must be confirmed and communicated to the UEFA administration in writing by their associations by the deadline set by the UEFA administration. The UEFA administration may alter or confirm dates and kick-off times according to the principles set by the Club Competitions Committee.

22.02
The UEFA administration decides on match dates and fixture reversals on a case by- case basis, according to the principles set by the Club Competitions Committee. The UEFA administration reserves the right to impose a match date in the event of clashes between matches in this competition and other UEFA club competition matches.

22.03
If more than one club from the same city, or within a radius of 50km (31 miles) of each other, is taking part in the competition and/or plays in the same stadium, and if the association and the clubs concerned explicitly declare when entering the clubs that their matches cannot be played on the same day, the UEFA administration may alter or confirm dates and kick-off times according to the

This UEFA champs league is becoming a joke how can 4 EPL teams have home games at gw1.
I thought there was a rule that counter this, last season Lyon and Marseille had home games in europa one was moved for the other.

I think it doesn't matter, as long as same team from thesame area play on different days (Manchester United and City - Tuesday and Wednesday). Then you have Chelsea and Tottenham, different days too.. But if Chelsea and Tottenham are playing on same days, then one team will be home and the other will be away..
