The tongue isn't alien to the planet earth. Cities that have the kind of complexity of languages like Jerusalem had in our present days are New York and the Vatican, Jerusalem also. it's very possible that Africans heard their language that day. Tongues!


If someone understands what the speaker is saying, that's a big blessing to the church. why? cos tongues without interpretation is just for the speaker alone. It was still tongues when these guys heard the 120 speak it that day. so why can't it still be tongues now?

Thats not a miracle, it is the miracle, and that is exaxtly where the term "speaking in tongues" generated, originated from. what they did that day is called "speaking in tongues" and yes it's the miracle cos someone that was a Jew was speaking Russians, parthian, Elam languages.
