Toaskarity: I don't actuallly know who is more desperate for power? Is it this group of ppl standing or the president whose ppl oil land feeds these greedy corrupt lunatic human beings on that picrure? You are a combination of a political ignoramus, a tribalist and a religious fanatic... |
Now this is getting very serious. Some days ago Aliyu Babangida said lecturers wouldn't have been on strike if only politicians stole less.Today Amaechi is saying we are all cowards.I have read Mandela's interview on the situation of things in Nigeria.I think it high time for the Nigerian youth to take up the revolution/crusade against these politicians and public office holders. The future of this country is in our hands and we must redefine our destiny to take Nigeria to her rightful positions in the league of nations. If u haven't read the Mandela's interview, please kindly do.Happy Sunday to you all. |
satowind: Up unical am proud to be a malabite.Bro what it with you uploading your picture on every post and thread...Happy Sunday anyway.. |

Hello guys, with the new calendar published by d senate, which states that students would resume by jan 4 and 2nd semester exam start by 1st of march 2014.I need clarification and answers on this questions bothering me. 1. When will d 2013/2014 session begin i.e when will d newly admitted students (2013 ume) begin lectures. 2.If 2013/2014 session is scraped, does that mean we are all getting an "extra year" for an offence we didn't commit. Thanks and God bless us all.... |
Kairoseki77: You see what centuries of white propaganda has done to this poor soul?He is an ignoramus, he doesn't know civilzation started from Africa even before Europe. Egypt have been practising agricultural mechanisation for 5000 years, ,where was Europe then. Am proud to be an African... |
As for me, I think Google or the proprietors of Android are to take the blame.Google has all the resource in this world to create an Android Insternet Subscription just like the BIS.Why make a good device with a bad internet subscription plan.It like making a car with a bad fuel economy. |
Nice one, God bless |
@kswag, thanks for the info so far.IMO, for airtel not to lose it growing customer base to other networks, kindly suggest to your "Ogas at the top" to provide an AIS (Andriod Internet Service) of 1k for 1gb/month and 2.5k for 3gb for 3 month.I would stick with Airtel if this can be done.Thank your time and effort..God bless |
RIP to the dead.May Allah grant his family and the city of Akure the strength to bear the loose. |
Kendzyma: cnt argue much wit u sinc its realy obvious u r studyn agric eng,xo u wil surly support d cours u 4cfuly studyn,weras..u chos anoda beta engi cours in jamb.xo u just tryn to encourag urself in studyn it.shalom! *unfollows thread*Hey bro, u getting it all wrong. I was never forced to study AE, I got into the university through DE and I chose AE as my first n second choice of course.I love the course n career path. Am still an undergraduate, but already helping final year students in ME with projects. It a personal thing, it how much yu can develop yourself. |
Thank God the strike is coming to an end.Pray the the government will fulfil her promise and our educational sector get to an international standard. |
@Destuno24,nice to meet here.Agric engineering till heaven comes. |
Nice thread, sincerely,ME is tougher considering d courses u offer in school thermodynamics till final year, turbomachinery, etc.AE is 50% ME,30%CE and 20% Agric sciences. In terms of degree of flexibility,ME is more flexible, though there are wider branches in AE too.To d similarities,AE was formed by a coalition of mech, civil, and electrical engineers working in agric sector of d US in d early 19th century. As for d job availability,on a global scale,ME has a very wide sectors to fill into e.g power n energy, automotive, aerospace n aviation, product design n engineering, manufacturing n material science engineering, telecoms etc BUT here in Nigeria,it mainly d Oil n Gas industry and a few manufacturing companies, anything else is teaching(physics, math) n lecturing. This is because Nigeria is a consumer nation,we dont manufacture n export. AS for AE,our world revolve round agriculture n food security. And like @Allorandy said,Nigeria's agric sector is booming, population is increasing n more stomach needs to be feed.1thing is if u gud enough u can displace a MEngineer, our job prospect also include civil engineering(structural, water resource management n environmental).Energy engineering is not also left out. Am a proud 300l student of AE of the Premier University, UI.Thanks |
Thanks OP,u just made my day.FTC tinz,dancing skelewu ![]() |

Nice to meet you all,i rep Agric Eng,UI.Presently in 300l.Have got skills in Machine design n mechanics of machine.I can do Autocad n Solidworks design n am an OCJP(oracle certified java programmer).Would definitely av my MSc in Mech or Civil in d US.I dream to work with GE,GM or Ford.Am very interested in d shell 360 challenge.Contact me on dipowo@gmail.com for any help or questions.God bless us all. |
