The company ofcourse. Whoever owns/whose name appears on the soa is the person sponsoring you. Stating that your sister is sponsoring you and you show up with her company SOA is contradicting. However its hard to sell why your sister’s company is sponsoring you.A personal SOA is better.

Hello dear.

You can edit your DS-160 form if you have about 3 days to your interview.

This edit would, however, generate a new application ID for you; this change (application ID) would need to reflect on your appointment letter.

Thanks,...but I already booked an appointment with the first application ID. Or is there a way I can change the application ID on the appointment letter?. I uploaded the passport but it said I will be contacted through email and I'm yet to see anything. Someone should tell me what to do I'm running out of time. Thanks a lot

Pay your SEVIS, you can check the available dates for interviews and check late into the night for dates that might be nearer.

Ur passport is valid for visa application. And since u have ur I20 already u may go ahead n pay ur sevis fee , visa fee and fill ur ds 160 ( u don't have to submit until u r sure of what u filled)...den use ur application ID from ds 160 to book appointment....time isn't on ur side. Since ur resumption is August 15 try and get a date before 6th ...it might take a few days to get ur passport after approval

And also I want to know the steps to booking appointment. and my course is 4 years and my passport expires next year October, hope my passport is valid for visa application because I read it somewhere that your passport's expiry date should be six month ahead of your length of stay. I need advice on how to make things work within this time frame. Please help a sister out. Thanks
