Just went to Nigeria to supervise the decking stage of the building project.

I started the perimeter fencing during my visit in December 2014
Did the foundation + DPC level phase during my visit in August 2015
Did the DPC to lintel phase from UK
Started the decking phase during my visit in January 2017

My girl and I would love to go for a tour in calabar and looking to stay in a decent hotel of not more than 7k per night.

Please does anyone have an idea? And secondly, the hotel should be closed to places like obudu cattle ranch and famous tourist attractions.

You can't get a 'decent' hotel in Calabar for N7,000 a night.

Calabar and Obudu are located miles away from each other. It's a 6-7 journey to Obudu from Calabar. It's either you look for a hotel in Calabar or Obudu.

Wow...good to see the work is going on smoothly. May it be an easy venture through. What will be in the pent floor? I am also continuing work soon on my 3 bedroom bungalow with pent floor in Abuja. Did the foundation to DPC already. Starting block work to upper floor next week and will really like to know the cost to deck the pent floor as per my plans attached. Told I will need about 5,400 9" blocks for the building. Will that be enough? Suggestions please...

I'm building a similar 3 bedroom bungalow + Penthouse ( 2 large rooms). I've done the DPC and I was quoted 5,300 blocks to take it to lintel/ decking level.

Did you mean a Bill of Quantity?

Did you engage a Structural Engineer at any stage of the building work?
