I'm interested. How long has the car been used in Nigeria? Do you have the complete papers? What's the mileage? Any gear transmission problems? Has it been sprayed with paint in Nigeria? |
What's the price of the car? |
positiveb:As a doctrine, they don't believe in burying their church members or taking part in funerals ( it's normally done by the very junior pastors) |
Deuteronomy 8:18 If you don't tithe, things will be tight. Undeniable proofs. By a Prophet Israel was saved, by a Prophet Israel was delivered. |
I'm interested in buying the car send me your contact details. |
Thanks. What happened to the interior leather upholstery? Isn't it supposed to be leather? What's the year of the model and the mileage ? How long has the car been used in Nigeria? I'm a serious buyer but just need to clarify these questions. |
Tadeus:I'll be visiting in August and need a car for my 1 month stay. What's the cost of delivering the following: 1) Nissan Murano 2004/2005 model 2) Ford Explorer 2003/2004/2005 model 3) Acura MDX 2003/2004 model 4) Infinity Fx 2003/2004 model (I'm sure you have an idea of what I'm looking for). I intend to leave it behind for airport taxi runs. |
yungchap:Thanks |

Has anyone who uses Afrinvest Stock brokers used their online Afrinvestor Portal/Platform to trade on the NSE? Is it real time? Whats your experience? |
myjoy08:I disagree with the first tip. Sometimes its better to invest in stock that can fetch you capital growth (for long term investors) rather than a paltry dividend payout that may even be diluted after the dividend closure date. |
Ihebrooke, You've done an awesome job on this thread, you shall be greatly rewarded. Greetings to mufutau55 and Fhemmmy |
I'm expecting a mini-bull run in GlaxoSmithKline ( GSK); the Men-in-Black need to take out their 1 for 4 bonus award. |
My Top 10 Stock Tips that have guided my investment philosophy 1) "When even shoeshine boys are giving you stock tips, it's time to get out of the market"- Joseph Kennedy (1888-1969) 2) "People that think they can determine the short term movement of the stock market-or listen to other people who talk about (timing the market) they are making a big mistake"-Warren Buffett 3) "Unless you can watch your stock holding decline by 50% without becoming panic-stricken, you should not be in the stock market"-Warren Buffett 4) "Risk can be greatly reduced by concentrating on only a few holdings"( Warren Buffett recommends not having a portfolio of more than 10 stock at anytime) 5) "Know what (stock) you own, and know why you own it"- Peter Lynch 6) "Once in a while buy Illiquid stock". As more money is spent on an illiquid stock, the price of that stock tends to rise (The pump and dumpers dream stock). According to Financial Times,"the less liquid a stock is, the better it will perform in the long run compared to liquid stock". ( Red Star Express is my annual favourite stock in this category) 7) "No matter how expensive a stock is bought there will always be a 'Greater Fool' to buy it from you at a higher price when you want to sell it". This is based on The Greater Fool Theory (TGFT) 8. "No one would remember the Good Samaritan if he'd only had good intentions, he had MONEY as well"- Margaret Thatcher (1925-2013). This served as my moral justification for creating wealth and making money on the NSE. 9) "Buy not based on optimism, but on arithmetic"- Benjamin Graham ( If the mathematical permutations don't stack up don't invest in a stock) 10)"If investing is entertaining, if you're having fun, you're probably not making any money. Good investing is boring"- George Soros (the guy who broke the Bank of England in the 1980's and set the standard for Hedge Fund success). What's yours? |
mercylicious:Thanks Sai Baba, I was able to offload my entire Vitafoam portfolio with capital gains. It could have been worse. Vitafoam is not a very liquid stock and has no institutional investors in their holdings. Institutional investors don't invest in illiquid stock (apart from market makers). |
I just sold 100,000 units of Vitafoam yesterday and today. I didn't want my funds to get trapped there. Its hard to sell. I'll keep the dividends and bonus instead. |
Red Star Express . (No debt to any financial institution). Dividend payment about to be announced. |
The deadie:Thanks. It's a buyers market. There's a reason why you haven't sold the car for 2 years. When I buy cars I get them delivered ( and pay for the delivery). |
Deadie, I'm interested in the van at Umuahia and ready to pay cash for it if the price is right. Has the vehicle been used in Nigeria? Has it been registered in Nigeria? Is it still road worthy? Will you be willing to deliver the van at Calabar ( I'm based in UK) ? Regards |
I have learnt that sometimes it is better to buy shares in a company (for accumulation and capital growth) after the price has been adjusted for mark down than to buy it prior to mark down for the purpose of getting bonuses and dividends, especially when the mark down price doesn't rally up to the pre-mark down price. It's the same break even margin. Eg, Vitafoam and GSK. If the price remains low and need to take out your funds after dividend/bonus payments you end up where you started. The exception to this is if the mark down price rallies up to the prior price the same day as in FBNH; that's where you can really make an immediate profit. |
myjoy08:Thanks for de-mystifying the acronym |
Pardon my ignorance, what's the meaning of BNSITL ? Thanks |
Nice designs. |
