Though I am still an unemployed graduate but I encountered something similar. A friend of mine connected me with the MD of a company. In approx 3 days I was invited for an interview with the company. On the interview day, I was asked by the receptionist to enter the GM office. The GM happened to be a lady. Initially, I tot i will be interviewed by the MD (male). The GM nearly destroyed me that day. I have not been addressed like that before. She insulted me, boasted and she finally said 'dash out of the company'. I felt really bad. Few days after the interview, my friend further intervened. the MD called me to see him in his office. I explained to him what happened with the GM . He said I shud not worry that I will get the job. Honestly, I am still contemplating the job. The MD (superior) seems very nice. But I don't know if I can cope with the GM.
