For example, Coartem is to be used at the zero hour, then, exactly 8 hours after the first dose, then 24 hours after the first dose and 12 hourly subsequently. And it should be used after a fatty meal or with a cup of milk.
The other problem we have is the storage of our drugs. They should be stored below 30°C but the ambient temperature is higher. The implication is that the drugs most people use have lost a bit of their potency!
