Celebrities / Lyrics Of Falz And Simi's New Song 'chemistry', You'll Love It by lonipeter(m): 11:08pm On Oct 27, 2016 |
I have always loved Falz and Simi and the music they do. So when I listened to their new song Chemistry, I fell in love with it (I recommend you listen to it too), not just because it's good music but also because it portrays and addresses a seemingly true scenario. so I took my time to come up with the lyrics. I know you'll agree with me that it is most probably true! Simi: Ah-ah-ah ah aah everybody seems to think they would be good together ooo Everybody don dey talk say make you be my lover oooo-oooo-oooo But they don’t even know if I’m your spec oh I don’t even know if I take your breath away You don’t even know my wildest dreams Maybe it is all just chemistry But I know-w-w I kinda maybe really do like you, Maybe me and you we can try to… Do this love something Maybe there is something there… Falz: Uh, I know there is something Simi: And I know-w-w you kinda maybe really do like me Maybe I can be your baby We should stop fronting Maybe there is something there Falz: Uhn I know there is something Bae I know sey you like me Your heart skips anytime I say nice things Maybe we dey shy since Maybe fate don say we can’t fight this You dey draw me , you be fine artist We don preach maybe we should try practice We can go slow like sey we jam traffic If dey wan talk shit make we buy Harpic When you step right through my door, I dey wish I could off that pinafore With a neat swagger, We can kiss after But they say your boyfriend is a street fighter. Yay That your smile from heaven oh You dey dodge tryna be careful oh But we still going round in circles ooh If we don’t try, we will never get to know See as you fine, you shine from head to toe Feelings dey grow but you're scared to show Ma ma sa fun mi, ma ma b'eru oh If they want time make we give them a show Simi: And I know-w-w I kinda maybe really do like you Maybe me and you, we can try to Do this love something Maybe there is something there… Falz: I know there is something Simi: And I know-w-w you kinda maybe really do like me Maybe I can be your ba-a-by We should stop fronting Maybe there is something there… Falz: Uhn I know there is something But if I’m too motivated then stop me I bin dey feel say love dey costly But I know it's not the same in your company And this feeling is killing me softly Me I didn't wanna be your rully But everybody seems to wanna talk to me Even if me and you make the worst couple If we no date wo, e go cause trouble Simi: I know I said I wanted to be friends oh The truth be sey that one na pretend ooh Maybe we can start again Forget wetin I tell you then Do you feel the chemistry-y-y Aah-aah-aah I know I kinda maybe really do like you maybe me and you, we can try to… Do this love something Maybe there is something there… Falz: Uhn I know there is something. Simi: And I know-w-w you kinda maybe really do like me Maybe I can be your ba-a-by We should stop fronting… Maybe there is something there… Falz: Bae I know there is something |

Nairaland / General / Twin Sisters Give Birth On Same Day by lonipeter(m): 12:09pm On Jul 06, 2015 |
Twin sisters Katie Bowden and Amy Meredith- Davies have done everything together their whole lives, but these sisters never imagined they would give birth on the same day. Katie and Amy both gave birth on Wednesday June 10 2015, just hours before turning 30. Amy, a health, social care and wellbeing facilitator who lives in Neath said: “We’ve done everything in our lives at similar times. Our family are used to it. We got married within a year of each other too. Katie got married in June 2012 and I was married in August 2013. I just can’t get over the fact that we fell pregnant at the same time.” “It was bizarre because I was in labour and had a message from my mother saying Amy was being induced. It was really funny because when my mum came to visit she would tell the midwife that she now had to leave to see my twin who was also having a baby. Everyone thought it was amazing.” said Katie, a teacher from Clydach Katie gave birth to her daughter Ella, at 5.38am in Singleton Hospital in Swansea while Amy had her son Henry, in Bridgend’s Princess of Wales Hospital at 11.15pm the same day source: http://www.naij.com/479470-twin-sisters-give-birth-on-the-same-day-photos.html

QUESTIONS POSED TO PRESIDENT JONATHAN BY FORMER PRESIDENT OLUSEGUN OBASANJO WHEN THE LATTER VISITED HIM TO PLEAD FOR FORGIVENESS YESTERDAY WITNESSED BY PASTOR ADEBOYE AND BISHOP OYEDEPO 1. Did you agree to run for only one term or not? 2. What did you tell me was your reason for not going after Boko Haram insurgent even when I told you this will boomerang? 3. What happened to the Nigeria’s external reserve and sovereign wealth fund? 4. Did you give licence to Niger Delta Militants (Dokubo and Tompolo) to import arms in the name of their privately owned companies? If so for what reasons? 5. Did you not get correspondence from the United States consulate that a certain citizen named Buruji Kashamu is indicted for Drug trafficking ? Why did you appoint the same Kashamu as South West leader of PDP rather than hand him over to the US? And did the PDP give automatic senate ticket to a wanted and convicted drug baron? President Jonathan failed to answer any of the Questions posed to him by Obasanjo. 'After calling me a tout in your Lagos campaign flag off, you are now leading pastor Adeboye and others to me for mercy and suppprt. I am fighting for the future of Nigerians and I am ready to die for Nigerians and not PDP. Please go with your pastors as your days are already numbered in ASO rock' - Obasanjo Case closed. 1 Like 1 Share |

Foreign Affairs / Namibia’s Wife Swapping Practice Ignites Debate by lonipeter(m): 2:22pm On Jan 11, 2015 |
Wife-swapping among Namibia's nomadic tribes has been practised for generations, but a legislator's call to enshrine it in law has stirred debate about women's rights and tradition in modern society The practice is known as “okujepisa omukazendu” – which loosely means “offering a wife to a guest” – the practice is little known outside these reclusive communities, whose population is estimated at 86 000. It is a kind of gentlemen’s agreement where friends can have sex with each others’ wives – no strings attached. Of course, the wives don’t have much say in the matter. They’re swapped and changed and swung between different men in a country with one of the world’s highest HIV infection rates. But the Ovahimba and Ovazemba tribes defend their cultural practice, saying it strengthens their friendships and prevents promiscuity. “It’s a culture that gives us unity and friendship,” said Kazeongere Tjeundo, a lawmaker and deputy president of the opposition Democratic Turnhalle Alliance of Namibia. “It’s up to you to choose (among) your mates who you like the most… to allow him to sleep with yourwife,” said Tjeundo, a member of the Ovahimba ethnic group. Tjeundo plans to propose awife-swapping law following a November legislative poll when he’s tipped for re-election. Mainly found in the north-western Kunene region near the Angolan border, the tribes are largely isolated from the rest of the country. They have resisted the trappings of modern life, keep livestock, live off the land and practice ancestral worship Source:Independent Online |
Nairaland / General / Breaking: Obasanjo Defects To Apc! by lonipeter(m): 6:03pm On Jan 08, 2015 |
This is not just breaking news, it is also breath-taking but it is always our pleasure at FNN to bring you firsthand information so as to keep you abreast of happenings in and out of Nigeria. Research has it that the former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo aka OBJ, has finally defected to the GMB-Driven party –APC. This is a shocker but speaking with the former President OBJ himself at his farm in Ota, he has given a few reasons why his defecting should not just be accepted by Nigerians but should also be applauded. Find his statement below: “I have reason to believe that most or should I say all of you are wondering why I have chosen to defect to the APC and I must say that if I had been told that I would have to switch party some 5 years ago, I myself would have argued it. I believe in transparency and integrity but unfortunately, PDP is an opposite of such attributes. They dwell in deception and in the lowest form of debase if I may say. I believe change is what Nigeria needs and regardless of whether GMB can deliver or not, it is still change in a way. Nigeria needs to be delivered from a useless government that has taken over since I left presidency. If you have read my book, you will see that Jonathan is nothing different from my VP when I was president. Atiku was just a big time backbiter unknown to him that when you have people behind you, your back actually becomes visible to you. I want to use this medium to say a very big thank you to the leaders of the APC for accepting me as I am and I am proud to say that come 2015, APC is taking over Nigeria for good of us all. I am a civilian like you all now so I understand what it means to live in the suburbs as you are all aware that I stay nowhere else apart from my village here in Ota. Finally, I would like to implore all Nigerians that come 2015 Elections, VOTE GOOD GOVERNMENT NOT GOOD LUCK” FNN was treated to a glamorous dinner by the former president where he kept cracking us up at intervals with his deep and inspiring jokes! Nairaland / General / Will It Be Febuhari Next Month? by lonipeter(m): 5:12pm On Jan 08, 2015 |
As the 2015 General Elections- which has been slated to hold in February- is fast approaching, with party politicking in its height and campaign rallies going on nation-wide, organisations, prominent Nigerians and by extension the general Nigerian public have started throwing their weights behind their choice candidates for the various posts to be contested, most especially the Presidency, which has appeared to be a two-horse race between the incumbent, GEJ and prime oppositon, GMB; doing so via various media including trending social media- facebook, twitter, nairaland etc. Numerous hashtags are trending already and many more are expected as the election heats up. It will be an understatement to say that GBM is at the height of his popularity, this made me wonder if next month will be FeBuhari or not. What do you think? |

Nairaland / General / Police: Akure Doctor Was Electrocuted! by lonipeter(m): 11:19pm On Dec 29, 2014 |
A fire outbreak at the Universal Medical Clinic (Specialist Children Clinic) in Oke Ibukun Street, off Araromi area in Akure, the Ondo state capital which sadly claimed the life of its owner, Dr David Adetayo Oguntuase who was burnt beyond recognition on Thursday December 25th. According to reports, the fire started at about 12midnight and caught the Doctor unawares inside his office. One of the nurses who spoke on the condition of anonymity, said the doctor came in yesterday morning and asked them to take the day off so they could spend some time with their family and instructed them to lock all the doors and windows of the hospital before they leave… Some hours later, the hospital was on fire, and Dr Oguntuase was burnt to death. According to a nurse, no patient was in the hospital during the inferno as they had all been discharged due to the Christmas celebration. The police, in a report released after an 'haphazard' investigation concluded that the Doctor must have been electrocuted. However authorities of the Nigeria Medical Association have rejected the report and called for a more thorough investigation as part of the doctor's limbs were dismembered and the burglary of the room where his body was found was said to have been tampered while others were intact, facts which give indications of murder. |

ritababe: You should know most guys are egoistic, telling him that 'it's a gift from marriage ceremony' might bruise his ego. You should just have told him 'that's a gift for you'. I do that a lot, I wouldn't lie I bought it, but I wouldn't say it didn't cost me anything either, even if it's a pie and can of coke! BTW you should know ur boyfriend enough to ascertain what and what not to detail to him. I consciously decided I won't feel awkward 'talkless' misbehave in such situations Bottomline: Your boyfriend too no try at all, he is childish and he aint seeing u as himself yet. |
