DieeDiee: And who told you all guys 'go around watering every hole'? BTW, if girls are precious, but guys aint precious 'cause they're watering holes, whose holes are thy watering then? |
Romance / Re: Must A Guy Propose With A Ring? by lonipeter(m): 10:08pm On Nov 17, 2014 |
DieeDiee: wait, given that you get a diamond ring when I propose, would that mean u get no ring at the 'official' engagement or you get another? And a wedding ring to follow. Will you don three rings on same finger? |
Romance / Re: Must A Guy Propose With A Ring? by lonipeter(m): 9:58am On Nov 17, 2014 |
DieeDiee: Does it mean if I propose to you with a ring, all you're worth is that ring? |
Romance / Re: Must A Guy Propose With A Ring? by lonipeter(m): 8:25pm On Nov 16, 2014 |
DieeDiee: A bagload of yam may well benefit her more than the ring, my opinion. |

Romance / Must A Guy Propose With A Ring? by lonipeter(m): 3:27pm On Nov 16, 2014 |
Of course it's common nowadays for the guy to take the lady on a date to a catchy spot in town, do the normal: eat, shop or see a movie, then afterwards the guy recites his favorite well rehearsed movie love lines before going down one knee, producing a glittering ring from his tux and saying the classic 'will you marry me?'. There's nothing really bad in that, in fact every girl seem to dream for such a proposal even though they might have agreed and working towards tying the knots. Now should this be every lady's standard and expectation? Must a guy always propose like this? Opinions please, especially from ladies. |

Jokes Etc / A New Medical Condition- Ritaphilia(sis) Discovered! by lonipeter(m): 10:47am On Jan 02, 2014 |
There is a new condition in town, it is called Ritaphilia(sis). A young man, Pedro Ay of Amnier community in the city of Laos, was recently diagnosed and according to experts, he could be the only human with the condition which is perhaps the rarest in medical history. Doctors said he developed the condition as a result of inexplicably complex genetic-hormonal interactions and he is said to have lived with the condition for about five years. "The ritaphilic cells," explained an expert "acts like a virus, once in the bloodstream (where it is released after it is birthed of the gen-ormonal interactions), it multiplies rapidly and is soon found in all body fluid. Ritaphilic cells infest all organs and cells of the human body, it is at home in the bladder as well as in the marrow, it been found in specimens from Ay's skin epidermis and in strands of his hair." Amazingly, ritaphilic cells are said to have unparalleled ability to mimic cells it has infested and perform there functions when the cells eventually die. As it stands, Ay will never recover from this condition as it has grown to a stage where it is called Severe Acute Ritaphilia(sis), he will have to live with it all his life and since it is believed to be hereditary, it is expected that all his offsprings will be born with the same condition. Funnyly enough, the condition is, according to the experts, not transmitted sexually but is believed to be mildly and selectively contagious, whatever that means! this is a joke and a love story, details later! |

Popowaa: smh, paranoia.Imagine this ,a guy once told me if the gf doesnt ask him for money then meaning the girl is cheating and so what do u expect the girl to do?Blame urselves. You're making sense my dear, not every guy believes money is everything. I wouldn't want to be loved just because of my money. Love is acceptance of personality, not property. I just hope and pray that everyone would just get the mate they deserve, and that settles it. The OP's friend should just brace herself up and thank God she didn't end up with such a cheat. It's a blessing in disguise, trust me. |

Linda Ikeji, the beautiful and well known blogger got a potential hubby in Segun Dangote when she declared she is 'single and searching' on Teju Babyface Show. Babyface was quick to initiate a match-making raffle and bold Segun did not slack as he declared himself the winner. Congrats to them o! BTW Babyface had a crush on Linda when they were both in Unilag he almost started a relationship before she travelled and they lost contacts. |

Pita99: Its quite complicated, maybe you should go to glo headquarters and meet the GM/CEO or whatever, is not going to be easy sha.. Good luck man Thanks man, going there is inevitable, I'm just thinking it would be better if I could make some contacts that'd lead to being offered an invitation. |
Nairaland / General / Help A Nairalander Reach Mike Adenuga by lonipeter(m): 1:20pm On Oct 01, 2013 |
Good day Nairalanders and happy independence day, I have some very valuable pieces of idea that I wish to share with glo (it'll work for any of the network providers but I chose glo- proudly Nigerian!) but I'm unwilling to let it go through channels and layers of management in which it must wind and twist through a dozen or more levels of responsibility which can stifle the message; the chances of it surviving the trip undistorted are slim to none. And if it does, it might have lost it's 'seal of authority' which means someone else would be claiming the rights. What do you advise and in what way could you be of help? Thanks. |
