Atheists were once muslims or christians who got angry with GOD either for a loss of something they valued or for the knowledge they think they've acquired. They ,however, forget the fact that knowledge is subjective to discovery and this GOD we are talking about appeals not to knowledge but to faith.
Muslims believe they will make heaven if they follow the law but christians believe they will make heaven if they've faith in christ and obey the laws of love( I believe this too). Don't question a man's faith until u prove it, how do u ignore a GOD u can't see but whose works are more real than reality itself; and remember, reality is more about what we have experienced than what exists, so what is real to me maybe unreal to u.

The wisdom of God is not revealed to a knowledgeable mind (This does not take away the importance of knowledge) but to a humble and loving mind. It is us who need help, not God. He that must come to Him must believe that He exists and He is the rewarder of them that diligently seek Him. Ppl like Reiyvinn seek knowledge for the wrong reason. I'm sorry if that sounds offensive, I mean no offence. I do what pays me and Christ pays me. Kudos to soldiers like Ayoku, Starlingslimnet, malvisguy, spectabilis.

For the purpose of this writeup, there are 3 types of people, namely: the believers, the middlemen and the atheist.
The believers are those who believe in the existence of a supreme God and the need to be devoted to Him.
The middlemen are those who choose to live without bothering about the existence of a god. They can also be referred to as agnostics or freethinkers. They may also believe in the existence of a supreme God but do not feel the need to worship or be devoted to Him.
The atheist is a person who rejects or disbelieves the existence of a god or deity.
Having made these descriptions, I would like my audience to know that no matter where a Human belongs to in any of these groups, everybody has a religion i.e a system of belief and devotion. This is to say that everybody- be it an atheist, a middleman or a believer- has something he or she believes in and is devoted to.
Here is the big question: What is the basis of atheism i.e why do the atheist believe there is no God?
This is a question asked because there appears to be more reasons to believe in the existence of God than the reasons not to do.
