Blackking98: [s]Dah you're mad o. You said SW is the only region with land and sea border. I said SS also does. You now change the narrative to international boarder, I also say SS does with cross river bordering Cameroon. You're now asking which part of Cross river opens up to international seas, to answer your question Calabar river empties directly into the Atlantic ocean and akpabuyo LGA borders the Atlantic ocean since you've turned the argument to SW vs Cross River and no longer SS. Now use your tiny brain to tell me which part of oyo empties into the Atlantic ocean or which part of osun empties into the Atlantic ocean. Clown [/s] Apparently you are one of the stupid people that can’t hold a conversation on Nairaland without insults. Go and find your category to roll in the gutter with, you have plenty of your kind here |

SmartProf: Yeah I understand, I'm just generally commenting based on the recent series of comparison put forward by whoever and Tinubu being the yardstick. If there was any comparison at all, it was when Awo was mentioned, and I don’t think any Yoruba man alive will want to take such risk of getting himself compared with the sage. |

Apawicked: Ekwueme contesting against OBJ is just to fulfill what the constitution requires in having primary election and prior to that PDP has chosen OBJ as its candidate. I'm not here to argue with you or type long words with you but bookmark this: If Nigeria is still in existence by 2023 you will beg restructuring and Igbo presidency which might be late by then If there is any region that you should use Biafra to blackmail, the South West is the last region you can use that with. In the event that Nigeria collapse today, the SW is the only region in Nigeria that can quickly start as a new country with minimal disruption to the society, it’s the ONLY REGION in Nigeria with both sea and land borders Please stop the nonsense as the Igbos will the biggest losers if Nigeria collapse judging by how they’ve heavily invested their lives in other regions |

nairavsdollars: Igbos once ruled Nigeria..Nnamdi Azikiwe and Aguiyi Ironsi And those two are the architects of what ever problem is bedeviling the Igbos in Nigeria in particular and Nigeria in general 1: Azikwe colluded with the Northern power brokers to become ceremonial president when he could have been the Prime Minister if he has agreed to form the govt with AG rather than NPC The same Azikwe had earlier worked against Awolowo to insert the secession clause in the independence constitution 2: Aguiyi Ironsi Mr Decree 34 ( the decree that abolished the regions and regional government and took all the power to the center in anticipation that Igbos will rule Nigeria forever) and his refusal to promptly try the coup plotters of Jan 15/16 of 1966. |

Is E.K Clark a special prophet of God to know that it is their turn? By the way, if he is saying nobody should contest the election except the Igbos, how come when the election was contested by other people in the past, he did not make any comment? Some of these politicians in this country are such a disgraceful lot. They have no respect for truth and they seem to forget history. Nothing can be truer. |

UdechiHD: You are right! But don’t forget the the PDP media team spread the Alhaji People’s Congress mantra and APC as a Jihadist party. Remind me who ram the PDP media team under GEJ? Reuben Abati, Fani Kayode both SW and Raymond Dokpesi AIT Edo state. Leave those you mentioned, prior to that Peter Obi has been going everywhere to sell that stupid and preposterous narrative about APC and most igbos both those living in the SE and elsewhere accepted as the truth. I once gave a ride to an igbo lady here in Lagos and she was telling me how apprehensive she and her family about APC winning the election in 2015 and will turn everybody to Muslims. I tried as much as I could to convince her about how impossible that was but she wouldn't budge telling me how people around her already believed the story |

proeast: The truth is that no zone can make itself president without the active support of others. The SW couldn't make it until others supported them. Even the NW and NE had been voting for Buhari but he couldn't make it until he got additional support from the SW in 2015.
When others keep telling Igbos that nobody will support them, or that other zones won't vote for them, you're simply saying that we are not needed in Nigeria. We have an adage in Igbo that says he who is rejected does not reject himself. So, we have had enough patience already and if by 2023 we are sidelined again, then it means we would have to take our destiny in our own hands and walk away. The problem with you guys is that you always want it the easy way out. The yorubas prior to 1999 have always been majorly in opposition in every democratic dispensation since Nigeria independence without threatening to bring the house crashing down on everybody the way iboz are threatening at the moment. The more you go this route the more other Nigerians will want to damn you and tell you to do your worse. You are overusing this Biafra card already |

proeast: Lol, so you take the things that happen in Nigeria on their face value? Ask yourself why Obasanjo and Olu Falae emerged as flag bearers in the two major parties in 1999?
Who sponsored Obasanjo then, a man that just came out of prison?
The military heirachy believed that only a Yoruba president will heal the wounds, following the humiliation and death of Abiola.
Things don't just happen naturally in Nigeria. They're manipulated from behind the scenes. So go and get the military to decree the two major parties to gift the tickets to ibos However we are in democracy under civilian rule, people use their creativity, strategies and strengths to win election and not by sitting in your bedroom to be issuing secession threats up and down |

Go and ask Olu falae and Awo in his grave. Awolowo was a principled man in an unprincipled country. The generation after him have learnt to play the game the Nigeria style. Las las, you will beg and cry for your Biafra |
