flyingpig: whether there is an agreement or none, you can't say orji uzor kalu shouldn't contest in the primaries of APC, because he reserves the right to contest for the highest office. We can't also deny the fact that more Nigerian politicians are acknowledging the issues of igbo marginalization and nodding their heads towards a Nigerian president of igbo extraction, after all they are the only southern zone yet to produce a President and have supported a SW presidency, NW presidency, SS presidency. There is nothing like SW SE SS rotation in APC, what you have there is power rotating among the founding blocs. Mamman Daura and most people that sat at the table when the party was being formed and power negotiated already spelt that to you. But good luck to Kalu to contest the APC primary, the more the merrier. |

No need to think the aftermath if it doesn't cause it will When APC was being formed, there were agreements signed by the two major blocs that made up the party, I don’t think the issue of rotating power among the blocs involved handling over the ticket to igbo after Buhari. 2023 is upon us. |

South East will never trust the waste. South South will never trust the waste. Even North is only using the waste and will not hesitate to throw them under the bus at the right time.
Children of fallen demons!! Who trust Ibos in this world? All the hullabaloo in Ghana is due to the distrust the Ghanaians have about Ibos. Yorubas (Especially from ijebu and ogbomosho) have been living peacefully for centuries along the West Africa region until Ibos found there way there recently to start causing their usual problem for everybody Don’t start with the issue of trust. If not for lack of trust why are you Ibos insisting that ALL parties should zone Presidential tickets to you knowing fully well where the rest of Nigeria will go if both Yorubas and Ibos appears on the ballot under different parties Even your closest neighbors in the SS don’t trust you but you are always forcing attached with them |

FYI, the River Niger north of Onitsha is not navigable all year round. Even at Lokoja confluence in Kogi state, the River Niger often dries up during the harmattan season. You will be seeing dry land all over the River Niger in these areas, talk more of Baro that is farther inland. There is also the problem of rapids and falls in this areas. However, from Onitsha down to the Atlantic ocean, the River Niger becomes deeper and never dries up, thus making it suitable for all year round navigation.
Even if the bigger ships happen to find it difficult to access Onitsha port, there are smaller ocean going vessels that will easily berth at Onitsha. It is the viability of the route that will determine.[/s] We’ve passed this stage in this argument |

horsepower102: Their days are numbered.
Igbos never ask for unfair advantage. They always ask for a level playing field for everyone regardless of their background.
But the Yorubas and Hausa see a level playing field with igbos as instant defeat. So they always have to make policies that are tilted in their favor.
The only reason that we are having this conversation is that shipping companies got tired of the congestion and started threatening to pull out. If not we will hit 400 million in population and still be shipping only from one port. You so much believe in level playing field that you are begging both APC and PDP to zone Presidential tickets to you. Ogbeni, keep quiet with baseless noice making |

Igboid: His headache is hate. They are full of hate, demonic disposition and envy, the very bane of black people. He is more interested in how to hold Igbos down than on how to uplift Yorubas. That is what is going on in your head. If you Ibos want everyone to think like you do, go to your nonsense Biafraland website, you all will have a unidirectional kind of opinion As long as you are in a Yoruba and Nigeria owned website, you will come across different shade of opinions that won’t appeal to your sensibilities It is what it is..no hard feelings whatsoever |

If you think it’s that easy, why is Baro port still the way it is? River Niger passed through many other countries before getting to Nigeria, other countries can do as they like with it before getting here thus can render the river practically useless for any ocean going vessel activity I wish it’s that easy as you want it, we genuinely want to get rid of you from the SW so that you will stop using the port as an excuse to keep migrating unabatedly to the place. |

You should be more interested in the source of River Niger than how close you are to the Delta it empties into the sea.
