i tried using this settings For MTN

But its not working for me, i want to be sure maybe its beacause of the unlocked phone or maybe because am using a rebel simcard thats why its not browsing, am using iphone version 2.1(5f136) carrier2.6,

i am using rebel simcard with my simcard, maybe that is why it won't allow me to connect to internet, is there something i can do about that?, and also how do i know when i am connected to the internet, will i be browsing automatically on safari browser?.
but if now i will have to go to MTN office for the manual configuration
