No, I read widely, and pay attention to the news. Kidnapping is a serious issue in Nigeria, and has been for years.

Sometime ago. someone known by one of my uncles was kidnapped. The ransom for his freedom was delivered not through the banking system but dropped off at a designated site. Man freed, money to this day not traced, nor were the kidnappers. Happened in the South.

Also in the South, some kidnappers used the banking system...making it easy for the cops to catch them one by one and get the money back.

It stands to reason, and it has been reported, that similar methods are used in the North...plus, why should a criminal make it easy for the law to catch him in this era of increased biometrics?

By the way, I wonder what possesed your mind to think that I was a SAN to bandits. That is not true, nor do I defend criminals or bandits here.
