Yes the government has neglected us for way too long. Yes enough is enough! Yes yes and Yes!! But most importantly what then do we do as a people? Pipeline destruction is surely not the answer neither is protest nor arms struggle! We need solutions now not complaints not even apologies. What do we do now to turn the trends for the better? |

Crude oil better known as black gold is known to abound in the Niger Delta area of the Country in vast reserves since discovered in the 1950s but it has benefitted the indigenes in so little capacity but not spared by the negative effects of oil exploration on both the inhabitants of the Delta and the owners of the land. 1. The land use decree of the 1970s ensured all resources of the state of Nigeria are state owned but the sufferings attached are owned by the natives ranging from ozone depletions due to gas flaring and cancers. 2. We have lost more heroes and foes than the Nigerian state as a whole lost in quest for independence ranging from the death of Isaac boro in the year 1967s to the elimination of saro wiwa in the 1994s and then the brief seize of her territory by the biafrans in 1966. 3. We are all used to guns and ammunitions from tender age as we battle the central government forces for attention whilst still dragging lands and oil wells amongst rival and warring communities meanwhile we are entitled to just crumbs as host to all the multi nationals. 4. We get less than 1% off our own lands as the rivers lands and streams are rendered moribund whilst far away lands like Lagos and Abuja are best of, thanx to our cleptomanic local leaders too for making this a reality. 5. We are termed as lazy knowing that our livelihoods of fishing and farming has been taking away by our own very sons, daughters and government. 6. If we protest the actions of the multi nationals, they employ the army to quell and kill us as evident in the ogoni protest of 1994 that led to the killing of one of our very finest chief ken saro wiwa. 7. If we protest by locking the oil well valves. They whip us into submission as we watch the blood of our land flow out freely to service far away lands and energise people from the far north in the name of one federal Nigeria. 8. If we blow the pipelines as the more vibrant yet gullible youths are doing lately, yes we force the oppressors to negotiate and listen to is but then we lose our waters and devastate our already destroyed ecosystem further. As evident below. 9. If we bear arms , it becomes our pain as we see drastic rise in cultism activities and political murders, if we are docile we become seating ducks as in the end we still loose. 10. Our blessing is our curse, they name us 5% and give us 5% appointments and attentions, they degrade us because of our numbers, they share our common wealth in a manner that sees us as mere spectators. And I ask is this oil not a curse to the delta? Since its obviously not a blessing to her. Go spread the word. The avengers may be right in their demans s but after they succeed our loses out weigh the success. The governments approach is wrong but who is going to make them pay reparations for such injustice, who is even just enough to judge and bold enough to accost the emperors. WIth tears in our eyes we weep, with sorrows in our hearts we mourn our dead sons, daughters and land. Indeed we are the biggest loosers alive ...

Guess Thats the only way I coukd drag your whole attention and educated your ass compulsorily. |
I was born not created, I grew up and did not evolve, I was educated as a human courtesy of the humans that raised me and I discovered through my awakened senses that I am an African. In essence, I wasn't born with a religion but I acquired it just the same way I acquired every pleasure of life I'm conditioned to enjoy today; the pleasure of owning a car hasn't made my legs useless, yet how does my subscription to my religion make other black men my enemies? In reality, the only reason I love my brother, family and kinsmen is the bond of blood and kinship, which means were the Muslim or pagan I hunt today bore by my cousin, in him would I have found a brother. The Men on white skin were able to colonise my fore father's because they brought in their religion which capitalised primarily on our disunity as a people, How else could the Brits have conquered the old "Benin Empire" if the people residing at the River banks not given them an easy passage? How else will sokoto have fallen if they had the needed support from Kano and Kaduna indigenes knowing that the invading forces were of an expeditory nature with a handful of soldiers. Just as it was then, the worst the United states of America and Russia has ever degenerated to is a "cold war", yet they fight daily on foreign lands testing their weapons mostly in the middle east and African continents. If your religion forces you not to think then why did u spend the years acquiring education? If in your religion hating humans and most importantly Africans is your stock in trade then am afraid u need a better religion. The Europeans met Africans at war and they named us Barbarians, we protected them with our own very lives from the harm of our brothers yet they named us savages and today our own very government protects the interest of foreigners over national interest and you still wonder why they call us " common thieves? " In truth religion in Africa hasn't been part of problem solving which makes it mostly a part of the problem, Am not a christian nor Muslim in words nor deeds but I will always strive to be a Good man, and if that can't earn me a place in paradise, then in truth there is no such thing as paradise nor heaven.

Big time scam |
May God save this nation from the scammers. |
Spot the difference. It is only in Nigeria that a 13-year old female suicide bomber arrested by security agencies in the past disappears and re-appers two years later as a "rescued" Chibok girl. Buhari well done. We expect more as May 29th approaches. Sick propagandists!

Team Bayelsa, add me up My Base is port Harcourt in Rivers State. |
The greatest challenge in life is moving from earning a few thousand bucks to making series of millions in earnings, just like the hardest part of a flight is the lifting stage, It actually takes lesser energy to stay in flight than to lift off the ground; It takes lesser effort to stay a multi millionaire than to rise from a few thousands to millions, In essence, my respect lies with those who made it off the ground from the floor to the tables of the high and mighty, No disrespect but I will pick 2face over Davido anyday and Steve jobs over bill gates Anytime; I see nothing spectacular in ones ability to multiply a few millions into series of millions But will readily make a role model out of those who turned hundreds into thousands and thousands into millions. God bless Dangote but Innosson and the likes are indeed the real face of hard work and prosperity. Thumbs up to all struggling Folks out there, May our kids not look at the clock before they eat neither shall their story be as unpredictable as Ours Once were. Atriculated by: Lordcabasa Esq |
Apc propaganda party, am in rivers state the truth is Chief Emeka Woke, Chief of Staff Government House has just been attacked by gunmen said to be the security details of APC Chieftain Dakuku Peterside. His driver managed to drive the bullet ridden car into the compound of the Department of State Security, a stone throw from where the incident occurred. His current state is unknown as at this time. God have mercy. It's unfortunate that same Dakuku is the first to call a press conference. Though Wike''s reputation has been dented and maligned but this act of the rivers apc is a macabre dance of shame. |

AMAECHI USING SOLDIERS TO CHANGE RESULT SHEETS Embattled Minister for Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi in a bid to save his face from the monumental defeat that he has suffered in the Rivers Rerun elections has embarked on a desperate bid to change the results of the elections to his Party's favour. Mr. Amaechi has been accused of abducting the Collation Officer of Ward 10 Port Harcourt and forced her to doctor result sheets. She was caught with 3 different result sheets. Ward 10 is a PDP stronghold and the Constituency of Mrs Blessing Nsiegbe whose husband was murdered during Amaechi's administration. Her constituents trooped to the Mile 1 Police Station on hearing that Amaechi had arrived with 400 soldiers to release her from police custody. But for the presence of Gov. Wike at the Police Station, she would have been released to Amaechi and his 400 soldiers. Governor Wike was at the Station to enquire about the Woman's arrest. Soldiers were heard shouting to PDP faithfuls at the Station, 'we go kill una for nothing'.

Truth hurts, but most of us in Africa are daft and ignorant hence we will remain puns in the hands of Arabs, whites and now our fellow blacks, Go spread the truth sire, doe u will be criticised and castigated but in truth Christians, Christianity and Southerners in Nigeria will bear the brunt of This Islamic government. I just hope our kids don't pay for our crimes of ineptitude. |
INEC officers flee from collation offices abandoning both youth corps members and adhoc staffs, but undaunted, the people are keeping the vigil, patiently waiting for them. Ruours has it that they are at Novotel hotel with Minister of transport MR. ROTIMI AMECHI REWRITING THEIR OWN RESULTS

For us Situated down the map of Nigeria which to some is known as the oil Niger delta territory and to others as South South geopolitical zone of the enclave known as Nigeria, PDP is not just a political party, it's a way of life to us and a rallying point of our own unity and freedom, best of all, it's our tool of expressing our displeasure over the gang raping of the minorities by the majority tribes which was done both by hooks, crooks and unjustly. But to us THIS IS PAY BACK FOR THE FRUSTRATED JUDAS OF UBIMA. ONCE AGAIN SOUTH SOUTH IS PDP! 2015 polls still forever fresh in our hearts! |
Having same issues in ph, though I just submitted 2day, we have die already! Mogbe |
Religion in Africa to my mind can be traced as far back as time itself, religion in africa is a product of man's thought, quest, need, greed and insatiable aspirations to reign over his fellow men and plunder his resources. Africans are deeply religious not because they love their "God" so much but because whoever protects them from my enemies is worth adoring. Africa as a continent is built on strife, wars and greed like every humanised society, just like animals, the stronger and bigger creatures devour the small and weaker ones, when religion came (African religion), it preserved the small kingdoms and communities from the wrath of the great and ruthless nation/clans; many tales abound in African indigenous mythologies of how "OUR gOds" preserved our ancestors, this range from accidental interventions of the gods in the affairs of men to deliberate invitations of such "gods" to protect our ancestors. Religion is therefore an escape route for the African man, hence, even today, we run to Churches, Mosques, Shrines, temples etc not because we love God or religion so much but because we have needs which we are condemned to believe their solutions lies in religions and its practises alone. The truly rich in our society concern themselves less with religion but the poor hold unto religion hoping it's their escape route to a better life, those who are tormented by evil forces turn to religion and even those who are just scared of "FUTURE TORMENTS" rely on Religion to be salvaged. This is one of the many reasons why Africans turn to religion as they believe it to be their salvation from enemies whether physical, spiritual or psychological. In conclusion, Africans rely on religion to make up for their weaknesses, their protection and their prosperity, which has been indeed helpful to their plight but what beats my thought is how Africans can Worship a (G)god, whom they have to feed with praise and encomiums whilst still fighting his own battles for him rather than him fighting for them, we have heard from those who kill in God's name, even those who feed God with animals, foods and drinks; some even protect their God from invaders, this I believe was the real essence behind the creation of RELIGION? OF WHAT USE IS A god that can't fight his own battles, protect his own people and give them a better life? I will rather stick with an uncertified herbalists who has solutions to my problems than a harvard trained Doctor who lacks the expertise in treating my malady... |
Who be snake, who be frog? Naija and divide and rule politicians. Do you have to create enmity amongst the people by sowing seeds of discord and tribalism before you rule dem? I wish my dear Naija wasn't so Cursed with Selfish, Greedy and Bad Leaders |

Moreover the law is not supposed to act in futility knowing WIKE is still far more popular than DAKUKU,hence the result would have been d same. So why waste d meagre funds available on some futility. Come to think of it THIS IS THE TRUE POSITION OF THE LAW... Indeed the judiciary is still the last hope of the common man. |
Governor Wike of Rivers State considering the spate of visible infrastructural development already on ground, to his approved budget of 60% infrastructure and 40% recurrent expenditure which is the 1st in the history of Rivers State. Infact God bless Rivers State, God Bless Wike. |
