mekaboy:Emeka, stop going round the circle. Focus on his good works instead of the petty reasons that hold no substance. How could the General possibly fight Abacha? The capacity he served under Abacha, he was adjudged to have done well. He left there with a clean, undented slate. What more could anyone ask for. It is on record that all the positions he ever held, he proved himself worthy of commendation and trust. |
While all these may sound good for a 40yrs leadership. We are quick to praise his development strides without taken cognisanse of the emotional and psychological state of the Libyans. It's on record how Ghaddafi and his children virtually runs the affairs of the people. How the people had very little say or contribution on issues concerning the gov't or country at large. The freedom of expression was almost zero as any utterance against the gov't is met with steel opposition and outright punishment. The Libyans were actually living in zoo brutally runs by Ghaddafi's family. Sometimes, free education, health, houses and may be money cannot replace freedom of expression which to any right thinking person is more valuable than all the gold in Congo. It is also a fact that most terrorist acts were sponsored and supported by Ghaddafi since he had so much wealth at his disposal to throw around. We are also quick to forget that his singular dream was to make Africa an empire ruled and governed by him, it was seen in his middlesomeness in issues concerning African countries. Sometimes, excess power and wealth unchallenged and undemocratic could result to excess rascality. The case of Ghaddafi was good riddance to a heap of rubbish. What is happening in Libya now is not uncommon to any country that just come out of internal crisis. Expectedly, those loyal to Ghaddafi will stop at nothing to distabilise the new gov't but only time shall tell. |
mekaboy:How else does the General prove how transparent he is if not through our collective mandate to vote him. Don't forget, a honest man remain a honest man be it in the military or in the civilian gov't. Also, the legislators are there to checkmate whatever excesses you are afraid of. As it stands now, none of the contenders competing with the General can match his records. If only we purge ourselves of presumtions base on lies, you will realise who is the better candidate. |
mekaboy:While i don't want to seen opening canvassing for the General, his antecedent has proven more credible. Also, Apc as a party hasn't done too poorly to be tried or given a chance. My honest contribution. |
mekaboy:How can any sane person pull a person down who is working for his own good? Our 'insanity' as a nation hasn't reach that. The gov't failed woefully and disappointed the massive goodwill of majority Nigerians who made sacrifice for it. The sharp rise of critics is owe to the abysmal performance of the gov't. I tell you, no gov't was massively installed and embraced like this one, but expectations were dashed. The only legacy that will be left after the exit of this administration, is the tribal and religious divide currently rocking this country, quite unprecedented. No one wants to replace a winning team or party. That Nigerians want a change is an indication of failed administration. |
Insightful write up. To forwarned is to be forarmed. The body language of the pdp in their speeches already suggest how they intend to amass votes - rigging. That may prove unwise and could prove the singular reason to violence. I don't see the north steering any crisis if their electoral right is respected. |
Honestly, the op deserve 56 stroke of the cane on his bare back and bottocks, perhaps that may revive you to your senses. I view with pity and hopelessness the path most youths decided to walk influence mostly by historical hate. You can't live in a system that is barely coping and you writting a disjointed, meaningless script secretly begging Nigerians to support it. Are we that cheap and hopeless and tribal and clannish and greedy and uncivilised and brain dead and inconsequential that we can be bought over under whatever guise to sell our humanity and sense of belonging just for what really? Something is seriously wrong with this people and argueing back and forth won't do it. Op, i weep for u. |
Ben, a man who went through the thin and thick of life, yet came out highly success. Trust me, when elected, he will weather every storm. Leadership is beyond oratory or 'strong hard face', but emotional balance and mental alertness, characteristics no one can deny Carson. He may appear less popular among the various contenders, but true Americans who values examplary leadership by experience will vote for him. The white racists can continue with their hate and hypocricy, while the blacks continue to pull surprises at all strata of life. For every Obama, there are countless of other well qualified blacks hidden by the media who can give any candidate a run for their money. |
ichidodo:I will advise you to go back and read the post properly, you will find my DAD some where in the equation. No pretense about it. My ascertion wasn't in the spirit to condemn any particular tribe, except you choose to see it so from your myopic view. I said what i did base on the percentage of those i perceived had sold sound reasoning on the alter of pettiness and partisanship. To me, there is nothing tribal about. Beside, i still give credit to those from that side who dare to stand out, and I didn't generalise in any way. |
karlmax2:Very obvious what your brain cells comprises of. You mean to say we have such a high prize 'criminal' tormenting fg, patrolling over the place, championing the greatest opposition party in the history of this country and yet the federal gov't is still helpless to nail him? Common man, you must be a joke. You show me a criminal walking around freely and untouch and i will show you a clueless, confused, incompetent, inconsequential, unfit, ill prepared, dis - jointed and very corrupt central government. God for bid that i hold brief for Tinubu. He may be all and even more that you have said, but the duty to bundle him with concrete evidence rest with the fg other wise your allegation is tantamount to assumption or beer parlour speculation. I have zero tolerance for corruption hence the above chosen words to describe the negligence of the gov't. |
ichidodo:Says the tribalist blinded by hate and prejudice rather than canvassing for quality leadership. By this action, Apc has shown a level playing field for all contenders and also demonstrated what internal democracy entails, away from a party where the presidential primary was sold to the highest bidder against the will of other eligible contenders. |
Embarassing! What a joke. What do i call this. Really pathetic. Situation like this beckons the need for effective investigative journalism who should be more pre occupied exposing the rots and lies of the gov't. |
The incumbent gov't made same lofty promises and non of which materialise. Nigerians are becoming wiser now to demand how you intend to pull it through. Beside, Atiku had his moment but he blew it away. We need serious contenders. |
This guy definitely chewing more than he can swallow. At a point when both countries are going through economic turbulence, what righ thinking person will want to start meaningless war. Glad his compatriots came hard on him. |
Pdp gov't is by far a more deadly and bloody conglomerate/ association compare to boko haram. The collective will and future of the people over the years has been stolen and pocketed through mismanagement. Boko haram still breaths today cos we have a gov't that is either benefitting directly or indirectly from the turbolence or a gov't that is confused about how to tackle it or better still a gov't that don't give a 'damn' about what is happening. To think that our once reverence military could several times run from their duty post for fear of some social miscreants leave a lot to be desire about the motivation, training, logistics and even the recruitment process of the military. To also think that a part of this country had been balkanised by riff raffs under the guise of islamism is shameful and disheartening. A leader who has failed countlessly to guarantee the safety of its people has no business saddling the affairs of the nation. |
Richiy:They rush down to marry women that they can lord over against love. Where love is absence there's bound to be chaos. It's a marriage of interest and covenient where the woman is trained to support the man's life style at her expense. |
Richiy: |
Richiy:I agree with you. Greed and lust most atimes are responsible for this. If marriage is an institution, idealy the foundation demand a solid work or support. But rushing down just to 'pick' any available woman on the advise and scouting of your family will always boomerang. The age difference many times is scary. And to think their are more mature and responsible African or Nigerian women there who appreciate the value of marriage is a cause for concern. Overall, the western law on marriage and divorce is harsh enough to push men over perpetual bachelorhood. |
shizzleStar:It's a faceless forum that explain your rant. The ideal place for a weakling to talk trash. Numb skull like you won't survive 2 mins of my physical assault and you are here talking about mud rolling me. |
shizzleStar:What else are you capable of. I doubt you have the brain to argue constructively. Dube, i place folks like you just exactly where u belong. I never lose my temper here and you are not about to make me do so. Beside, you are no more Igbo than countless of igbos here who think and act right. Once again, stay off my lane man or i crush u. |
shizzleStar: |
shizzleStar:thanks. Was in a haste. |
shizzleStar:No skin pain man. Right there in my post was an appology in bracket. So what's the noise for? Don't expect me to condescend to your level of idiocy to join words with u. I made my point without bitterness, but you resorted to insult. We all know majority of those sold out to Gej's project, there's nothing hidden or tribal about it. In order to demonstrate your mental state, you went berserk on me. Stay clear off my lane, i aint gat no time with unrefined folks. |
We all know how it works. One thing TANoid can't withstand is intelligent arguement. Anyone wonder why the two rabid dogs were after berem and the op? Your guess is as good as mine. |
I asked my dad the other day why he prefered Gej to Buhari, he said and i quote, ' he looks humble and he is a Christian'. I looked at him with pity. Immediately, i could perceived the simplicity and ill exposure of the TAN gansters who littered every thread defending their principal out of pity, emotions, clannishness and other unconceivable reasons far removed from facts and truth. Op, i must say big up for capturing the essence of the collective mentality of these people. I won't be surprise if in the near future i suddenly realise that these people are some Igbo sales boy (apology) managing kiosks while taken up time posting rhetoric craps. Cos, no intelligent being no matter how tribalistic could be this blind to make such suggestations posted by op. It's too damn local and unrefined. It gives an image of poorly breed people void of touch with the real world. |
After it was obvious that barcanista had battered them mercilessly in subsequent post, the Tan group became humble and well behave waiting patiently for a saviour, until one datolee came with bags of poorly arranged lies and the TANoid in their usually fashion of stereotype clinch to it even after barcanista counter every of the poorly written epistle of lies. |
NgeneUkwenu:Hillarious. TANoid are in trouble. |
lekkie073:lekkie, i will appreciate if you keep your insensitivity to yourself. I don't deal with folks with no human feelings. You can't afford to become too political to undermine the suffering of a fellow man no matter how tribally entrench you are. |
WilyWily:May you also be mocked when face with serious challenges. |
lekkie073:Insensitive bigot. Was it atiku that swore to protect him and his territory? Because you feel relatively peaceful where ever you are doern't give u right to spew rubbish. A traumatise man is expressing his pain and all you do is to add salt to his wound by playing politics with his situation. Must everything be toyed with? |
Quite disheartening to think mubi could easily fall into the hands of a handful tenage riff raffs in the presence of 2 or 3 battallions without report of much resistence in just one day or 2. Haba, i smell foul play here. Our military reknown for bravery can't easily surrendered mubi just like that, except there was a calculated effort and schemes already mapped out from the top to frustrate the gallantry of our army and to give the boko boys more edge or advantage over our military. Somebody at the top is benefitting immensely both politically and financially from the whole crises. It also came to me a surprise that the Mr. President unconcerned could leave for BF a day or there about after mubi was recaptured. The whole scenerior gives reason to concern over who is behind the failure of the military and how motivated the military force is. May God help Nigeria. |
True or false. He is widely known by Nigerians to have embezzled their commonwealth. A good democrat no doubt, but the stigma of being very corrupt along side his boss while in office cannot be removed over night. He had his opportunity to make meaningful impact that probably will guarantee his future political career, but along side his boss they plundered the good will of the people out of greed and competition. He must explain to Nigerians what he had achieve as VP and how the privitazation programme under him went wrong. No amount of image laundry would be good enough to remove the idea Nigerians have about him. Atiku undoubtly, is a good and generous man, many testified to it, but the project Nigeria has gone beyond that to a vision, motive and actions capable of tranforming it. |
), she is a virgin, she is very traditional and she is beautiful. So, let us marry her.
