Could the source be authentic! I pray it's a lie, if not, pdp gov't must have something under its sleeve. Asari on that plane could mean one thing and that is being funded to purchase arms against the Nigerian state should Gej losses the election. And to think DSS know about the deal and remain mute, is laughable. |
gentleoyink:Where exactly? Yaradua's declaration was open and fair. |
With the exception of looting of ballot boxes and hijacking the election proper, i don't see how a pdp presidential candidate can beat the General, not by any stretch of the imagination. Nobody so far has given a coherent and verifiable reason why Buhari should not be elected aside the baseless rhetoric and malicious remarks made out of fear and hate. Every corrupt politician and friends are well aware of the capabilities of Buhari. Among his archive of achievement is his zero tolerance for corruption and mercilessly dealing with such appearances, and pdp being the hot bed and headquarter of corruption unlimited wouldn't mind pulling heaven down to ensure General Buhari never assume the top job. Yet, when you pray a simple prayer for the TAN group that their lives be run by God the way pdp runs Nigeria, when you are expecting an amen, they coward away. |
PhockPhockMan:The arm transaction did not follow due process of procurement, hence the seizure. Even at that, the bickering isn't far from the fact that the pdp gov't has failed to assume the role model status expected of it by other African nations and that explain why any small country even Ghana find way to pick and ridicule at us for irrelevant diplomatic reasons. This challenges doen't call for a pay back time now that we have gotten it right with curbing the ebola menace, but a time to put our house together if truely we value and appreciate respect from junior nations like S. Africa. |
Victory over ebola shouldn't become an avenue to get back at any country for any reason. If the Americans or Europeans had a vengeful and hateful heart, Africa by now would have been ravaged by all manner of diseases. What happen to be our brothers keeper? You don't begin to hate on the Southies for a mistake of your gov't. Respect is earn. You can continue to act disrespectively and expect to be respected. When you act any how, you will see anyhow. |
Entchidodo:And i suppose Apc instigated the S.African gov't by way of getting back at the F.g? Like i said earlier, the deal could be for the right intention, but an era of cashless policy introduce, promoted and championed by the gov't should never have been violeted by stocking a plane with raw cash. Even in the face of a diplomatic row btw the two nations, if the Nigerian gov't hasn't breach their policy on finance, the host gov't would have been powerless to hold us ransome. The truth is, the F.g left too many options for the opposition to pick and throw back at them. |
Entchidodo:Arms deal without a valid document, communication with the foreign partner or the presence of a top gov't officials in the plane. The overall arms deal probably for a good intention but failed to follow the require processes. The job of the opposition is to find a hole in gov't and capitalised on it which Apc did. |
The fear of APC is gradually becoming the beginning of wisdom. You think the opposition will sit and watch while you run this great country down with your unprofessional handling of its affairs and brazen corruption. Cry me a river. You've not seen anything. Apc isn't doing enough in my opinion not when corruption literally walk, breath and eat among the gov't circle. If exposing the rot in gov't or challenging the status quo is what you(metuh) describe as collaborating with foreign powers, i must say you are having it easy with Apc. Go to other climes where opposition is in the business of opposing a sitting gov't, you won't come here crying wolf where there is none. |
Couldn't have been more happier being a Nigerian at a point when all odds were against us. Shame on seccessionists and detractors who gloated over our challenges hoping and intensively praying this situation crumble and eventually disintegrate us. God pass them. They will continue to get disappointed as we make more gains out of a chaotic situations. Nigerians are built tough to face and conquer tougher situations. Imagine what more we could achieve as a nation if we forsake politics of sentiment and clannishness and vote on the basis of antecedent or track records. I keep saying that we have not unlocked 1/3 of our potentials. The world aint seen nothing yet. Love naija. |
@rudedough, you deserve less than a class room teacher with the short sighted analysis you put up there, lacking indept and precision. Someone ask you if you would rather maitain the status quo of brazen corruption, but you choose to ignore that area while you go on a wild goose chase with your rhetoric(no disrespect man) probably for lack of what to say. What does it really take fight corruption? Simple! Finance and empowered the anti graft agency (EFFC) and make it completely independent with monitoring from the legislators to check mate excesses or abuse of power. By that, the agency will be equipped to recruit and train some of the best hands. Would that be too much for the General to execute? An incorruptible leader will most likely take this initiative. |
If you feel you are 30 and you feel like 20, then you are 20. It's about feelings. If you feel old, then you are old. It's about feelings once again. Age is just but a number. |
GHKWAME1:See, i believe is rather unfortunate to have some Ghanaians throw insults on Nigerians on a thread or issue that does not warrant any. You either agree with the poser ascertion or not base on your experience or information, but coming out on a thread like this without objectivity but insult and insult, is really weird i must say. I may be wrong, but the disrespect started with a Ghanaian. |
So far, i realised the south Africans are more civil with their responses compare to the ghanians especially that lady. Success or greatness is relative and we can't conclude that one country is completely greater than the other. However, i realise that most Nigerians feels a bit superior(forgive me) because inspite of leadership crises, it large population, deficits in infracture, many are still succeeding in all facets of human endeavour. Outside the shore, despite harsh economic policies by host gov't, story abound of strides of success. The ability and spirit to make gains in foreign countries is largly responsible for the notion held by many Nigerians. No offence, but we have had many Ghanaians here in the past, and the same cannot be said about them. Imagine if we hit the infractural status let say S.Africa, it can best be imagine. We are brothers and must choose the part of respect and love to one another. |
Sibabasibaba1:Is such a shame how we immediatelly labelled anyone with a contrary view an Apc agen. The guy may reasons for making such claims but clearly not enough tagged an Apc. |
Sincere9gerian:Clap for yourself. Coming from the man who eugolised pdp led gov't on road constructions, while hypocritically wave aside that of kano gov't. Take away road construction from the present Nigeria gov't and you will be left with almost nothing meaninful to remember this gov't for? Be generous enough to state or itemize industries built or revived by the Federal gov't. |
Still better than a certain war lord who ran to cotd d' voire on woman's bra and ankara. |
ROSSIKE:Hahahaha, i know, i was only pulling your legs. However, i believe it's approriate to speak on areas the gov't seems not to be doing well albet how patriotic we are.Top of the morning bro, |
And someone slammed Amaichi the last time this topic was posted describing the whole project as hoax and calling Amaichi a scam. Now the truth is gradually coming out by no other person but Rossik, the defender of Pdp mafians. |
GenWOJUOLA:You right bro. Kd of those days was really fun when you can go just about anywhere at anytime without fear, but the jihadists almost got it all spoilt. But thank God, the southern part is coming up fast in development, beauty and fun. Nice to see many wonderful houses springing up every now and then. The traffic from town to the south also suggest that the north is no longer what it is. |
Op you are right. In the midst of the challenges the people really pick up fast and are speedly catching up with the north inspite of very little gov't presence (no thanks to the cold hands of death that snatches Governor Yakowa). You need to visit Federal housing in Gonin Gora to appreciate the new tasteful residential building springing up. Also Romi new extension, nepa field, Gbagyi Villa in Romi, Kamaso(hope i got the spelling correct), Narayi high cost, Sabo G.r.a. These are places where you see nice houses and development and you wonder who these people are. The crisis was indeed a blessing indisguise. You understand the meaning of real peace when you cross the bridge to the other side. But I still love U/rimi and Malali. |
otiigba1:Are politicians not humans that equally need salvation? |
otiigba1:Do Pastor choose to be in the media or the media chooses to follow him everywhere? |
Bennyberry:Why do some people set themselves for failure and ultimatelytdestructio? What has Pastor's personal life and relationship got to do with you? You disregard your spiritual growth by refusing to read the rhapsody for a reason that is clearly not your headache. |
redsun:It all boils down to the politics of poor/bad leadership, not an everyday Nigerian phenomenon. You must have heard of Nigerian cap drivers returning back hard foreign cash left by foreigners and Nigerians in their vehicles, or folks who report to the bank of some great cash found in their deposits. Where do you classify these people? These are just very few of wonderful individuals we have out. We must not make the mistake to tag or bound all Nigerians with the rotten behaviour of some bad eggs who made it a duty to abuse the very institution they are expected to promote. I understand that the corrupt gov't official present the face or image of Nigerians since many of the foreigners encounter them first before other Nigerians, on that basis i will forgive the ignorance of those who unknowingly or deliberately fused their character with law abiding Nigerians, but that on its own is unaccetable to classified every Nigerian base on this tendency. |
redsun:That is the politics of wickedness you and i are suppose to fight. These set of people are quite disconnected from the masses. We can't take their evil activities as a standard for everyone. |
redsun:Those are internet rant that doesnot necessary translate to reality. We may argue and disagree on many ground, but we love life and peace, and will never compromise it. |
Despite the social economic challenges and ethnic differences, we remain united, successful, happy and hopeful. Nigerian spirit is one spirit you don't find anywhere. Exchange the present statehood of the country with any nation and all you will have is chaos and bloodshed. Nigeria is bless to be a blessing. Love my naija. |
Zion - city of refuge, strength and prosperity. |
byrron: More sensless now.It becomes necessary to sound subjective when the evidence of poor governance is so bold and some selected few decided to act differently. The views and contribution of contrary stand should be base on fact, objectivity and common sense which leave little space for doubt, and not on a twisted mind solidly and traditionally buried in clannishness and outright falsehood. Those are the reasons we must purge ourselves on. |
