It has nothing to do with only Igbo, it cut across many tribes. |
Samsonklin:Pity, your spiritual will be malnourished. Church and God is personal to me cos i know its value, benefit and effect. |
Samsonklin:Shame! You don't go to church cos of what others do. Christianity is personal, and what you do with it you will answer God on the day of reckoning. |
penny01502:Don't be an illiterate this morning. Tribal bigots like you are the reasons the country is what it is today. Lynching of unsespected victims is not an exclusive preserve of northerners. Except for this, is rare in the north for youths to set someone ablaze for an unintentional act only during crises. In fact, many cases of lynching is widely popular in the south than the north. Pls, don't come here venting your ealy morning frustration on northerners. Is quite early. |
And after all the shout, scream and complain, the circle continue. The Aluu case comes to mind. We can't be all docile and relax and expect self serving politicians to enact a law to prohibit this barbarism, in as much as what happen to the man on the street doesnot affect his chances of looting or chances of being voted, they don't care. Poor memory of events is harmpering our activism. Is not enough to shout on the net, or flex muscle to show support for your preferred party or candidate. The forum should be an opportunity to set things straight but we have turned it into an avenue for tribal bashing and a political ground for rally. God help us. |
Yet, this is just one case out of many. How many of our politicians are honestly endorsed and voted by the masses? Electoral fraud and poor corrupt judiciary remain the sole reason why unelectable persons who stole the people's mandate can escape judgement or spent over 3yrs in the legislative chamber before being detected. Strong institutions such as the judiciary will continue to be a reason for a strong and prosperious nation where justice and transparency prevail. But unfortunately, our justice system are as interested in self gratification as the politicians. Only God knows the number of young vibrant men languishing in jail for being wrongly accused or for minor offences that shouldn't warrant such treatment. Or people ill treated by the demons of men in black and black uniform and get away with because they are aware of the weaknesses and nonchallant approach of our judicial system. God help us with a responsible leader that will overhaul and sanitize this all important gov't organ. |
In her display, i can MARK the hand of a wealthy politician. What a MARK of excitement! |
I drive this car extensively this year. My name is printed on it already. Is good to be rich baby. Hahahahaha |
We've been expecting this. I will consider this development as the singular, meaningful achievement of this current gov't if implemented. The incessant clash and unnecessary lost of lives should prompt gov't to expedite action to contain the excalation. However, fg should seek the approval of host community if they will be willing to part with parcel of their land for the programme to avoid future confrontation. |
DesChyko:That it works for you doesn't entirely make it right. What is the moral of lady camping with another man before marriage? Society may applaud it, but it surely doesn't have the support of Christianity and tradition. Except may be you are trying to make your rules as it suits you. The value of a woman is to have a man come around her home during courtship or have the permission of her parents to take her out. It may sound old fashion, but this is a system that has proven effective and respectful over the years. The summary of it all is for both parties involve to abstian from sex until marriage and girls will do well to set boundary to that effect, cos true relationship that is meant to last and work does not seek for sex as a test, and would not allow sex to come between. |
valkaka:Stop the twist and turn. Nobody put a knife to your neck to submit your womaniless, is a choice and be ready to face the consequences. What is bad is bad, stop sugar coating it to sound reasonable. God and tradition abhour it. |
veegirl:Listen girl, i don't follow what rules society lays. I am first a Christian and i allow my conduct to be guided by God's prescription (the Word). Like i said earlier, i make mistakes but i don't dwell on it to justify it. As to your question, i decided to be one and God provided the right environment. I am a full blown young man with vision and aspiration. |
veegirl:26 and still a virgin. See, is not about being judgemental. We all make mistakes but making our mistakes sound justifiable is a no no. Btw, i'm a Christian and not a hypocrite. |
veegirl:Yeah, its aint crime i know but the act doesn't make it appropriate either. Except perhaps, your self worth means nothing to u, that i understand. |
veegirl:You guilty of it hmmm? |
You got sense op. But most ladies won't heed to this. They seem to enjoy the thrill that come with the false alarm. After all, it's a social trend that makes them feel important and wanted. Can't believe how a suppose woman who value the culture of being a woman falling for such trap, an old trick, too cheap and over used to knock senses into some of them. It is clear prostitution and way wardness to camp in a man's house u aint married to. |
It sounds almost impossible but their endorsement or not, the chances of Buhari clinching the top job is clearer than any presidential election he contested. All across the country, the yearning for a change is so strong that any sensible person can perceive it. This is the first time in history that rigging and election manipulation will fail. The Ijaw youths have surely made the right move, hope their decision will be keyed in by other groups in and outside the region who are determine to start witnessing real development that can be touch and not the ones on television and pages of news paper. |
Love this man to pieces. My idol on oratory. |
Who do you blame exactly? I am trying hard not to lay the blame on successive gov't, but as much as i tried, i realised that the many years of negligence and greed among those entrusted with the welfare of the masses have been responsible for the many woes of this great country. Imagine a graduate pulling all sort of tricks just for a stipend. It has gotten so bad that able body men will post in a national youth service vest pretending their vehicles broke down just to attract sympathy and cash. While it is not all gov't affair to cater for the over all needs of the people, needlessly to say that the onus rest on them to provide the needed environment that will encourage self realisation, actualisation which will in turn eliminate any form of execuses that will warrant 'legalise' begging and promote economic competition. Folks in develop countries takes pride in themselves and so abhoured any form of begging because of a functional gov't that made them realise their values and importance. But a nation that treat its people with disrespect and disdained can't expect its people to understand the meaning of self honour. It is the same reason why young girls go into prostitution and yound men take to robbery, kidnapping and many neferious activities. I bet you, must of these able body 'beggers' are probably not comfortably with what they found themselves doing but the need to survive had necessitated this social ills. Call it survival of the fittest and you will be correct. But that is not to excuse why a complete young man should take to begging when he could atleast take advantage of his completeness and do something meaningful. Those who are suppose to offer that orientation are busy fighting over politics and how to enriched themselves. Some beg for genuine reason while others out of being lazy. Whatever it is, your discretion should guide you in your decision. But for street urchins is a no no. |
Mr. President is making wide consultation to ascertain the credibility of his sellability. As egift rightly said, the 50 50% chance of not being voted could be responsible. The sudden unprecedentent height in Buhari's popularity is also a cause of concern to the pdp why the declaration is taken too long. Only pdp crumb seekers disconnected from reality fails to see the massive force Buhari is pulling across the country with no money to throw around. I think is only wise for pdp to have deeper thinking cos the tornado that will sweep them off will not only be disgraceful but will ensure they spent the remaining of their miserable years behind bars. The fear of Buhari is the beginning of countless strategies. |
Arch1:Absolutely. |
Billyonaire:I am still not disputing you. My concern is the present system in place that doesnot provide any sort of pressure on state governors to judiciously use the allocation they collected into creating wealth. A system where fg made it mandatory for certain percentage of the allocation be used for investment with check and balance to ensure the state who default are allowed to be drilled by the anti graft agency. The fg possess both the yam and the knife and can play a huge role how state gov't spend their allocation not minding state legislators. But again, the fg is more interested in playing politics of divide and personal interest to intervene appropriatelly. |
Fg has a big role to play in ensuring every state has a well mechanised system and structure that will ensure revenue generation is taken seriously. The just concluded national cofab provided such opportunity for germain issues like this be put to rest instead, very little important issues were priotised. For as long as fg has not provided a working economic road map that will cause states to take certain responsibility in income generation, nobody should be accused of what constitutionally belong to them. |
Billyonaire:Stop going round the circle and answer his question. 'Does it stop Ibori and Attah from being independent of fg after the said investment? You pdp folks are the most unintelligent supporters i know of. You brought up an instance you can't defend and when you are boxed to a corner, you changed tune. As far as we practice this present system of gov't, the governors are entitled to their allocation. If fg feels it cannot cope with states' demands any more which clearly could be trace to corruption and mismanagement of the commonwealth, it can always reverse to true federalism that way states will sit up and stop over depending on the centre. Agreed that states should be more investment thriving to generate funds for state up keep, but this suggestion you raised should have come up first b4 the bashing u came up with to spite Apc governors. |
The whole scenerior smack immaturity. Mature minds in mature relationship don't get involve in childish tantrum. The fact that she could go this length putting you to an unnecessary test shows she has an ulterior motive to dumb u on flimsy excuses. Run from such ladies, they are inconsistent, and face your studies. |
Like someone said, inferiority is about the mind. Get educated, get successful, be an achiever, above all be yourself. They will have no choice but to respect you and seek to befriend you. For those ones online spewing dust, don't respond back at them, low self esteem has a way of making someone talk other people down. We are still family. And oh, keep loving them no matter what. |
Pdp are robbers. What were those expecting, to be paid? What a joke! Clear manifestation of swindlers. Those guys just can't hide their real colour. I pity d youth anyway. |
Dolemite:Be a lady you are and a bit more civil, will you. Darlin, far from me to scare you, but hey, what you said is just the reality, don't allow your mind trick you to brush that off. I just want you to see life now beyond hell. If you grab it, every fear, worries and uncertainty will fade off. Guess what? Christ is life. I appreciate all that you have read, but refusal to apply them become waste. Dolemine, think more what God can do with your life if you let Him. You are a great woman and you can be greater. Shalom. |
What else do you expect when the writting on the war is evident for all to see. The campaign of driving fear to Nigerians over the re-emergence of the criminal Mend if Gej lost is the gimmicks the losers (pdp) have employed lately. The threat is old and bears no relevance on a determine people to flush out pdp and their bags of evil tricks no matter the consequences that may follow. |
Justcash:Me scared. Not me. I fear for the poor people in that region that will obviously suffer the consequences of any needless uprising. As it stands now, we can't point to a cogent reason why Mend would want to pick arms against its gov't except for a political reason which they have largely benefitted from. Mend may distrupt the economy for sometime, but we fail to envisage the economic traumer the region will face after the fracas. The battle will eventually be lost by Mend and your prophecy of gloom and doom fails to caption or state the after effect of the war. |
Dude, you failed on arrival. Your subtle attempt to drive fear into Nigerians and eulogise the capability of Mend over our Nigerian army is unhiden. If you base your 'prophecy' on the noise and threat of some few inconsequential criminals in the Niger Delta, you are mistaken. I don't see the wider populace in the N Delta given support to any arms group if the new government step up effort to address the many years of neglect that even their 'son' fails to pay attention. Mend will most likely be treated as criminals not by the Nigerian gov't but also by foreign gov't if attempt is made by Mend to disrupt effort meant to revive the region. How far Mend go without the cooperation and support of its people remain to be seen. If at all there is any uprisen, believe you me, it won't take time to stamp it, not with the position gov't has taken and lesson learnt after the manace of boko haram. |
Dolemite:Don't get worked up. I'm only trying to show concern here cos i care. Any way, my appology if my choice of word is offensive. But i won't stop coming at u. I know u need Christ, everybody does, even the athiest that are trying fruitlessly to discredit God. Dolemile, is possible some religious figures get u discourage but remember Christianity is never a religion but the postulating life of God in you. God loves u and wants to help. Just let Him prove Himself in your life only if u let Him. It's a personal decision u are going to make, nobody can force u. Shalom. |
