wrong maths. you won't be 7 years younger.

I'm currently 23 years and 2 months old. if I were using the Ethiopian calender I'd be 21 years and 5 months old.

imagine if 19 white families purchased 97 acres of land in Nigeria to build "white city"

 how does that sound?.

black people like doing things on the extreme..

look at what they are doing in a white man's country. if it was the other way round they will be the ones to scream racism.

they should use that money and come and develop Africa and stop fighting to be accepted in a white man's country.

Romance / Re: At 22, Mean But True Advise You Will Give Me by Lordmykel(m): 11:23pm On Aug 29, 2020
you are young but won't remain so forever. know that people who are old and some who have died were once 22, have at the back of your mind that someday your time will come, so live life well.

Think deeply especially about the future, this is the period you should plan your future. remember if you fail to plan early, you plan to fail early.

Quest for knowledge, read books, read history as this will give you the knowledge of men of older generations combining it with the knowledge of your generation, you will be outstanding among your peers and this will also give you foresight, a very necessary attribute for growth and success.

have at the back of your mind that "fools also grow old". it is a norm in our African society to listen and obey all that elders say. but I tell you, elders are not always right, believe in yourself, trust your instincts and follow your heart, Learn from your parents and other people's mistakes, make your own mistakes and correct them, gather experience, you'll need them.

Observe judgements and adapt to positive change. e.g, they the older generation believes men are superior to women, but your generation Comes with equality. be intelligent, never forget that The illiterates of the 21st century are not those who can not read and write but those who is not able to learn, unlearn and relearn new things.

Don't do drugs, Alcohol inclusive it may ruin you. say no to cultism and other social vices. he who lives by the sword, dies by the sword.

never make women or a woman your priority, the women in your generation feel they are entitled to men's money, they are a liability for a young man who wants to grow. yes the cravings for sex will be there but realize that self-control is a gift 98% of your generation peers do not posses. stand out.

if you want to grow, realise that girls/women are only wants, they are not needs, your needs are education, food, shelter and clothing.. if you are not independent enough to get these needs for yourself then forget wants, you'll get your wants when you have your needs.

have an aim, pursue a goal, discover yourself now that you are still young, take positive risks else you'll regret when you get older.

dismiss the get rich quick syndrome, take care to only make money LEGITIMATELY, don't trick people to get favours, don't scam people of their money. yes your mates will be living large and soft lives, trust me illegally gotten money does not last. learn from Hushpuppi's story.

spend more time being productive than on social media. social media is addictive, never let it control you. spend more time reading news, spend time on discovery and reseaching on the internet.

if you are in the University, study hard, it's just 4 - 6 years of study after that you can flex your whole life, the sacrifice is worth it. School is not scam like your mates say, if school was a scam then millions would not be applying for jamb yearly.

You will always enjoy your life later, you still have time, but at 22 never miss that rare opportunity to lay a good foundation for your future. pay now, play later.

be a gentleman, always smile, help people, help make the world a better place and the sky will be your starting point and the ends of space your limit. ♥

Religion / Re: Bishop Oyedepo: It's Wrong To Allow People In Market And Not In Church by Lordmykel(m): 11:32am On May 07, 2020
TheAfricaQueen:
Mr Oyedepo, now more than ever, the Nigerian Church has shown it's self to be extremely non-essential. At the start of the year all the Nigerian churches proclaimed that 2020 would be our year, a year of GREAT HEALTH, GREAT WEALTH AND MAGNIFICENT BLESSINGS.

Well so far 2020 has been awful, and Nigeria and the world are staring at a recession/depression. So pastors of Nigeria, why didn't you people foresee this pandemic? Why are you not healing the sick COVID-19 patients? It just goes to show you all that their miracle shows are carefully choreographed drama shows.

Post COVID-19 expect empty seats in your churches, the people are waking up.

by brother, you are right but people are not waking up o.. there are more foolish people than smart people in this world.
e
take for example when TB Joshua prophesied that Hilary Clinton was going to win America's presidential elections. but when Donald Trump won you'd be expecting people not to believe in him again but members still flood his church till today and it makes one wonder.... these people get sense at all?
recently he prophesied that corona will end on March 27th.. common sense is not common.

If you no u wanna go for microbiology, Biochemistry, anatomy or physiology, be very sure u have financial support till PhD level.. Or better still make a first class @ b. SC level or at most a 2.1 (so that u can work in a bank).

But if u make a 2:2, and u have no financial support till PhD level, then you are on your own o

Savage.....
So that you can work in a bank

Biochemistry and microbiology are just dumping grounds for those that didn't make it into College Of Medicine. When i was in MCB,we were 310 in class.I just look at the class sometimes and wonder where all these people will fit in.BCH and MCB is not worth it in Nigeria.just go for professional courses, not that these courses will make you rich oh just that they will give you a head start.

My brother....
Biochemistry is in medical college..
Micro biology is in faculty of biological science...
I'm speaking for unical ooo.. Lol.. And there are more than 400 who were admitted for Microbiology last year in unical..

Yes because under MLS there is a unit called Medical microbiology... And these people are preferred to normal microbiology graduates.
