My advice is simply this: PhD in UK is overrated. You can get the same degree in other European countries and you will be paid at least a 1000 euro monthly and not you paying. Example of such country is Germany, Portugal and Spain. They have English programmes and you don't need to worry. If you have to learn the language then do it. You can inbox me for more info.

Go to your nvidia GeForce 3d settings and include the pes manually, then try running it without the launcher..
Before you do this, how much ram do you have on the system and the dedicated gpu?

tried including it manually but it's still the same...
8Gb Ram and 2Gb Nvidia geforce 840m

2nd question
i installed Assassin's creed Rogue and so far d graphics is okay but after installing Pes 2013 and trying to run it, its bringing up "your computer does not meet the minimum requirements GPU" i know this only happens when the vram is under 128mb and i've tried to set the default graphics processor for the game to my Nvidia Card but even after that its still the same?
