They will only deal with the name that is on the passport. And to be honest, it is not necessary to go try to get a new passport for her now, bearing in mind how difficult it can be to get a new passport sometimes...except that has stopped. It won't affect anything. If you however insist it is needed or necessary, please go ahead.

Buhahahahahahahahahah!!! hire me for free man!

I ll get u a ppr in 12 weeks from scratch to finish...
I will write your ielts, process ur transcript and eca, create ur profile, monitor d stages, send ur pp to ghana , receive your prv/copr, attend an IOM session for you, book and pay for your flight to a province of my choice, check u in at d airport where i will bring your prv and copr, book u an airport pick up, take you to the house i pre rented for you,....
only then shall i leave u to sort your sin, bank, phonelines and drivers license but not without lots of netwrk support for u to sail smoothly thru them all...

I will come in again with lots of interviews scheduled by me( after making a great canadian style CV )....All u need to do is attend d interview. I will make sure u are hired..
ALL FOR FREE....cos i dont want you to trouble yourself after a hectic day at wrk and i dont want u to strain ur eyes n fingers searching for info thru this terribly long thread full of irrelevant banters.....neither do i want u to feel bad about being directed politely or rudely to page 0 when d responder could have just simply answered your question...even worse are all those seniors that have entered "jump and pass mode"

I want u to just find yourself in canada without any stress.
You can just thank me by saying God bless me.

READ UP PEOPLE!! It's for your own good

I think the same still applies...meaning as long as I have the travels in my travel history, I will scan and attach the corresponding visa pages showing markings and stamps.

My risk appetite is very very low...so I prefer to take extra caution.

I do not how you want to process the application to include your fiancee. The only way I understand that you can add such a person is if the person is your spouse. In other words, you will have to get married. Also, while you do this, they will request proof of relationship like marriage certificate, wedding and engagement pictures in some cases etc.

If you add the person (with the assumption that you have marry the person) post ITA but pre AOR, your scores will be recalculated. The best thing is too add your spouse post AOR. This ultimately also means you should not get married pre AOR as it means you have to apply as married and your scores will be recalculated.

So:

1. Go on and apply as a single.
2. After AOR, get married and then add your spouse to the application.

Hope this helps. Wish you the best.

Cheers.

Hi Cochtrane,

Please, after the ITA, can I process my PR with my fiancee included.

Is there any special explanation on how to go about this, ( I am open to learning).

Thanks a lot for your help so far.

I know for sure that Q-Life is a cheaper option compared to IOM. Last I checked, Q-Life for an adult is 28k while IOM is about 40k or so.

Nwandy218:
Hello Fam,
For medicals, please whic of these is best in terms of costs and speed of process for those residing in Lagos. I don't want to spend a whole day at the clinic. Please what are their various costs for children and adults.

Thanks.

1. Children's practice
2. Q-life clinic
3. IOM Ikeja

Yup I do. But I don't think it has anything to do with that. I know someone who has never been to the UK and the person's file sits helplessly, tucked away in oblivion in London VO.

For those whose applications have been sent to London VO, can u confirm if u have travel history to the UK? @onlineise, et al.

My file is in London too

embarassed embarassed embarassed embarassed

Be careful what you wish for...I remember praying for London VO earlier in this process when they were processing PPR like under 6weeks. So I got a response to my enquiry just now, saying my file has been moved from Sydney to London, my heart sank cause right now I hear Accra dey learn for where London dey.

They even said in their response "...please do not send repeat status requests...your cooperation will be appreciated." ... i take it as a subtle threat, so right now make i just dey my lane going forward.

oh...ok. If you say so. To be honest I did not have that in my letter. I just a got a letter stating all that needs to be stated (date of opening the account etc) and gave them my 6 month bank statement alongside.

Let them do the math themselves. grin

The requirement for the letter which you are meant to provide says average balance of the past six months.

I want to believe that is in line with your first guess.

I have not seen your pm though. Sent you one now.

Feygbe:

Good day. Please I have a question about the average balance for the last 6 months shown on the bank letter?

Is it balance of each of the last six months summed up and divided by 6?

Or balance of each of the last six months?

Thank you. (I sent you a pm as well, pls reply)

You suggest I send a mail to Ottawa?

behati:

This update means that your file has moved from CIO to a LVO, that's has been the trend for folks stuck in CIO, you can email them to find out what your LVO is. Mine is London and that means a really long wait.

Same thing happened to me on Saturday. It's now 'we do not need additional documents'. 94 days post AOR.

Onlineise:

@VCOLE we dey here ooo, I travelled to a part of Nigeria for 3days were Internet is like Gold, only to return tonight and see additional 38pages to catchup with in just 72hours ooo...it is well!

MW, I got a movement on my file on thursday - Review of additional documents now No additional documents needed, after 46days. I think I triggered that though, Since they said my file was still at CIO, I kukuma raised a CSE and sent wife's FBI PCC to them (we were initially waiting for them to request since we had that debate of 5months+ not qualifying as 6months) ... I am just relieved that there has been some activity now sha, no matter hw insignificant it might looked.

Congratulations to all the recipient of the recent ITA, it shall end in praise.

It's 93DAYS POST AOR AND STILL COUNTING
