I travelled for work last month and I had to stay in a hotel for a few days. There was no electricity in the area, so my focus was finding a hotel with power supply. The first hotel I stayed in said they have solar, but it never lasted the night. I was so frustrated. Imagine charging with panels throughout the day, turning it on at about 9pm and it could only last 6 hours? I had to go another hotel where they would at least turn on their gen from 7pm till 7am the next morning.

My old smart TV has an Ethernet port, so I used an Ethernet cable with it when the built-in WiFi was not seeing any devices. You can use the Ethernet/LAN port to connect to your router, if yours has it.

70k is supposed to be MINIMUM wage for civil service. That is what Level 1 workers are getting. The requirement for entry at Level 1 is First School Leaving Certificate. These corp members are graduates, for God's sake. People that spent more than 10 years in the educational system after Primary School should now be dragging wages with street sweepers?

The entry level for most university graduates in Civil Service is Level 7. At that level, you should be getting close to 200k salary. If we judge corp members as Federal Government employees and expect them to follow those antiquated bye-laws, they should be getting paid up to 200k as well. We shouldn't be clapping for the FG for paying them 33k before now, and only just increasing it to 10% more than what Level 1 workers are collecting. That is cheap labour and they are still getting punished for it. You guys should think critically sometimes.

Come on, if you are ordering from another country, the equivalent is even more expensive. Not to even talk about delivery. I have had an experience with this.

Even if you're dropshipping from China, there's no way you would set prices that low. And even if you did, you should have loads of customers and vendors. Where are their reviews? Share some of those reviews you got on any platform.

Yes, the mifi is 4G and it is connected by WiFi to your phone. It has nothing to do with your mobile network which is 3G/WCDMA.

However, the strength of the signal will depend on the WiFi module in your phone and the frequency at which it can run.

A flagship phone may have slightly better speeds than your phone, but that's only theoretical since Nigerian ISPs have not reached that level of high speed Internet.

I keep having this problem of songs skipping on my Redmi Note 10S. Noticed it almost immediately after buying the phone.

Like 3 seconds of a song will just be skipping and cracking for no reason. Happens both on Spotify and normal music player. Sometimes, I also notice something similar when playing videos (looks like it fast forwards a bit). Sometimes when I'm on a WhatsApp, Zoom or Meet call, it crackles for a few seconds and I won't be able to hear the other person, but I can see that the person is talking.

The problem with fuel subsides is simple. Let's use a hypothetical example.

A lot of Nigerians say that we should reduce fuel to N65 a liter. Well, in 2011, December, a liter of fuel was N65, while the landing cost was N99. So, we was paying N34 per liter of fuel.

Now, if we kept fuel at N65 a liter up to September 2022, when the landing cost was N500, we would have been paying about N435 per liter of fuel in subsidy.

Multiply that by our fuel consumption, then let's not forget that fuel consumption in 2011 is far less than fuel consumption now.

That means that all our budget money would go to subsidy plus more of our loans...

There is a reason why subsidy has to go.

Why are our refineries not working? Seeing as the landing cost is so high, why not prioritize refining our own crude oil? The cost of having to subsidize petroleum products should not be the case if our refineries were working.

Even in the case of selling off our crude oil, we are not able to generate enough revenue. Our Excess Crude Account is empty at this moment. Also, imagine not being able to locate a point of vandalism on the crude pipeline for 9 whole years! A whole lot has to be done.
