Gbzloved: Hello nairalanders, I have a budget of 60k and I want a UK used laptop with specs: core i5, 1080p resolution, 8gb ram, 500ssd. Guy!!! You can get an i5 (maybe 2nd generation or vPro) 4gb RAM at most (You can upgrade later but it might only increase performance slightly. Go for 4gb and don't run too many programs at once) 512mb - 1gb dedicated graphics maybe But don't expect 1080p resolution or SSD. The cheapest 500gb SSD is like 35k in Naira. And 1080p screen laptops with the rest of your specs intact start from at least 150k. The truth is there is nothing fantastic about 1080p on laptops. It wastes battery and can even reduce playability in games. You can get an SSD of maybe 60gb as an internal drive for Windows and major programs. Then, your HDD will be connected as external drive I don't sell laptops but these are your options for that price Hp Elite book 2170p Hp Elite book 2570p Dell Latitude E5430 Hp Elite book 8440p You can check out shopinverse at Maryland mall cos they sell in bulk and the prices will be cheaper than most Computer Village vendors. And no, I'm not affiliated with them |

In many BIOS( mostly Insyde sha), they have an option to make sound when keys are pressed. So, if he activates it and those keys do not make sound when pressed, that means it's a hardware problem. At least, I know that keys Y and N work universally in most BIOS. Hope you grab?? |

Samfilo31: The keys were working perfectly well be4 the drivers update, i wonder such problem, am having deficulty booting to safe mode on this win8 Press and hold Shift and click Restart on your startup menu while still holding Shift Navigate to troubleshoot - advanced settings - startup settings Choose the right option for safe mode (It's usually 4, so that's F4 or just normal number 4) and wait for it to load up You can also turn the PC on for like 5 seconds and then turn off with the power button. Repeat the sequence like 3 times, so the PC thinks there is a problem and on the next startup, it will give you the Exit and Continue, Troubleshoot, Power Off options. Follow the remaining steps in the first paragraph |

udemzyudex: You mean to say save mode? Safe mode also works too. Yeah, he can restart to safe mode The best bet is to revert Windows back to a time when the keyboard worked(system restore). That's why people should always create a new Windows image before doing something as critical as driver updates. And PCs should be set to backup automatically every week |

I use Drivers pack 17 online last night to update my system ( win 8 ) after the update my B and N on my keyboard is not working again
I don't know what might cause dis, though i uninstall de keyboard drivers and scan for hardware changes yet didn't fix it
I need help please, my keyboard was working very well be4 the update Check if those keys work in BIOS or when typing password. Activate keyboard sound in BIOS and try pressing those keys to see if it will give sounds. Or try it in your password bar. If it works, that means the drivers you installed are affecting the system. Reload Windows to a time when the keyboard was still working. Revert driver changes. It should work. If it doesn't, then it is a hardware problem. Hardware problems can occur in the blink of an eye |

alBHAGDADI: Since the law has been discarded, according to your like, isn't it absurd to you that Apostle Paul and others were still clinging to some of it? According to you, the Apostles are cursed for being under portions of the law.
Shouldn't that tell you that they knew that it is not all the law that was done away with? That's why they specifically pointed out that which was no more to be obeyed and were also specific on those to continue with.
Now, what happens to the ones they didn't mention at all? Are we to continue with them or not? We are to continue with them because God nor the Apostles put a stop to them. Any man that attempts to change what God hasn't changed will face the weather of God. Remember Jesus aid not one jot shall pass away... Lol. Keep deceiving yourself. Paul was obviously making principles different from the Law. Did the Law talk about drunkards and revilers? Or did the Law talk about the Kingdom of God? And I hope you also keep slaves too since the Law states how WORSHIPPERS of God should treat them. I also hope you also carry out the parts of the Law that refers to priests and women I mention it again that the Old Testament is still relevant, but again, you don't need to adhere to it. In fact, in your case, you don't need to have faith in Jesus and you can fornicate and overdrink and lie and steal, because you are eternally saved. Amen, brother! |

elijahkayode: Funny how Muslims is the only faith that bows down when worshipping God, yet the scriptures point to this
Elders bow down in reverence, yet Christians don't
And the four living creatures kept saying, “Amen.” And the elders fell down and worshiped. REVELATION 5:14 NASB At least, they are falling down to worship what they can clearly see. The only true God in front of them. Not kneeling down in one certain direction towards the sun abi moon at a specific time with an object being placed in front of them. That should look suspicious to you already. But anyway, it's your faith and people tend to get sentimental a lot, that's why I won't drag out this conversation. And who told you Christians can't bow down and pray? We just don't need someone to tell us when or how to do it. Peace |
Christianity Etc › Re: No Christians In Old Testament, Why Are They Forcing The Laws On Us? by lordtim001(m): 10:24pm On Jun 09, 2019 |
alBHAGDADI: Since the law has been discarded. make sure you sleep with your mother tonight, and don't use condom. Many Scriptures in the New Testament admonish us to abstain from sexual immorality. Immorality could be fornication, adultery, bestiality, incest, homosexuality. Besides, it is morally wrong in our society. Believe it or not, the New Testament already has enough principles that can be applied in our daily lives without leaving out the important aspects. For example, Paul in one of his letters mentioned someone who was engaging in immorality with his father's wife. And he put it in a bad light. It's simple logic. Another Scripture in the New Testament says that he who goes on hating his brother is a murderer. You don't need Cain and Abel's example to spell it out for you that hate can lead to murder and that murder is wrong. You don't need Exodus 20 to tell you that you shouldn't murder, steal or worship idols when 1 Corinthians 6 vs 9 and 10 mentions that people who engage in such things cannot inherit the Kingdom of God. It's pretty basic. We are not trying to cancel out the Old Testament because as you have previously mentioned, ALL SCRIPTURE is inspired. The basic point of the Scripture in Galatians is to stop picking specific aspects of the Law to follow, since you choose to follow it. Follow it in its entirety. Don't use it to support tithes and then disapprove of animal sacrifice or excreting wastes in bushes far away from your house |

AutoReportNG: Different countries with amazing regulations and laws.
Drivers who fail to wash their cars properly could be hit with expensive fines.
Motorists could be slapped with a staggering fine of up to $450 and lose three demerit points if their licence plates aren't displayed cleanly and clearly.
According to a Facebook post by NSW Police has advised that 'not washing your car properly,' by 'neglecting' cleaning the licence plate could end up costing you.
According to Clause 25 of the Regulation in the NSW Roads and Maritime Services, plates must be 'clear and clean,' and must not be obscured, defaced or otherwise not legible.
You can also get stung for licence plates that are not properly displayed or are hard to read.
In another post by the NSW Police, they state that number plates are not allowed to be hinged.

'They must be securely fixed to prevent them swinging out of sight. $448 + 3 points.'
While the laws and penalties vary in each state, social media users have been quick to criticise the NSW laws on the Facebook post.
Facebook user, Lizzie Maree West, highlighted the implication with water restrictions, saying '... we can't wash ours on level 6 water restrictions...'
Source: https://www.autoreportng.com/2019/03/not-washing-your-car-properly-could.html That's cool. It will discourage nonsense By the way, 450 Australian Dollars is about 115,000 naira and not 162,000 naira. 1 Australian dollar is roughly 260 naira, compared to 360 for United States Dollars |

achorladey: lordtim001 do you know that hairy has a point about this, and it not just hearsay. What follows proves that to be true......
as made clear in Letter to Elders , August 23, 2010, which states:
"The information is designed for use by the elders only, and other individuals should not have any opportunity to read the information."
Sisters are not allowed to even bind it under supervision, as directed in the following quote from the Letter to Elders , October 7, 2010:
"There is no objection if an elder personally spiral binds or laminates his own textbook or does so for other elders. If he has another baptized brother who is not an elder do the work for him, the elder must watch while the work is being done. Outside companies, unbelievers, or sisters are not permitted to do this work. The material in the book is confidential, and confidentiality must be preserved."
August 23 2010 letters..
We would like to emphasize the importance of keeping these new textbooks secured and confidential, both before and after they are distributed. The textbooks should not be left on tops of desks or in other places where they are easily accessible by family members or other individuals. The information is designed for use by the ELDERS ONLY, and other INDIVIDUALS should not have any OPPORTUNITY to READ the INFORMATION.
