I don't think anybody can push this argument. You cannot compare ki to chakra. One gives you full body augmentation and amps defenses while the other just gives you power to perform certain techniques. The only argument would be comparing the animes themselves.
Each Naruto character is very unique (with special skills) unlike Dragon Ball that almost everyone's attack is similar (Makkankosanpo, Death Beam, Burning Attack, Galick Gun, Final Flash, Kamehameha, Spirit Bomb to mention a few are just light beams of different colors, shapes and sizes). And another annoying thing is that Dragon Ball fights choreographies are annoying. I remember how my guy hyped Broly and I was pissed after watching it. Most of the fights just involved them destroying the whole place and we were just seeing them swatting and hitting each other in the distance. Not to mention the fact in the future, there will always be another higher powerup mode, even after Super Saiyan Level 5 or Ultra Instinct (Maybe it will be called Super Saiyan 6 Blue Ultra Instinct Jirenized God Mode )

I would say Naruto only because I am a fan but I also like Dragonball Z. The only thing is that DBZ is very old(production started in the late 80's) so the picture and audio quality is very dated. And to be honest, it is TOO CHILDISH, but still better than the original Dragonball.
But in terms of the storyline and quality of villains( from Piccolo to Vegeta to Cell to Frieza and Majin Buu), DBZ is topnotch

But if he cannot read the situation and put up a barrier in time, he is toast. Forget sealing.

This is someone that had already sacrificed a dominant arm just to beat a 16 year old. And Sasuke had already prepared Kagutsuchi for him. He absorbed Hashirama's chakra before the Rinne rebirth was complete? But his Rinne had already crumbled. Unless you are saying there were still lingering effects which is false. I had to go back and watch that fight again so I would give you pictures from the fight.
Pic 1 Notice the fire intensity. His hair was in the fucking way, so are you saying the Amaterasu just gave it a perm? Again, check the amount of fire around him.

In his fight with raikage sasuke was beaten to pulp, he couldn't even catch raikage with the amaterasu, Raikage destroyed sasukes susano, and became stupid and angrily tried to destroy sasukes ribs when sasuke covered himself with amaterasu, thats the reason why the flames even touched him.
And if gaara didn't save sasuke there raikage would have killed sasuke. Did you watch the fight, after raikage brutality wasted jugo and suigetsu, sasuke was barely managing to stay alive.

The fact that Madara was blind didn't mean that he couldn't absorb jutsu. That was the reason Amaterasu didn't affect him. You can Google it. He is still able to absorb jutsu without his eyes. In fact, that was how he absorbed Hashirama's senjutsu.
Second, I am not trying to argue against the strength of the Raikage. We know he is strong, stronger than most jinchuriki even. I am simply saying the only reason Amaterasu didn't touch him was because of his speed. Do you think it is easy to keep up with that kind of speed with the eyes? The only person said to be faster than the Raikage was Minato (though KCM Naruto later surpassed him). And Minato uses Flying Raijin, which is basically a transportation jutsu, so he is nowhere as fast when running normally. No one can stand up to the Raikage in normal foot speed so you understand why Amaterasu didn't touch him. So, do not compare Jiraiya to the Raikage in terms of speed. If Sasuke or Itachi uses Amaterasu on Jiraiya, he cannot outrun it. That is the truth.

You still do not understand that Amaterasu burns everything in its LINE OF SIGHT and can be focused. The reason why you don't see it as lethal is because those who cast the jutsu just allow it to burn naturally. If it burns naturally, it is very slow but it can be used to cover a person all at once. Just imagine a normal fire style made out of Amaterasu and without the time delay from spitting it out of the mouth. In the case of Madara's armor, Madara can absorb ninjutsu so it would not do any damage to him in person. The fire then spread to the armor which he then easily pulled off. Also, in Sasuke's fight against the Raikage, he wasn't fighting to kill him. He wanted Danzo specifically. When he realized Danzo wasn't there, he just wanted to leave in one piece. It wasn't a fair fight having four kages and their aides there. The Raikage was able to evade the Amaterasu because of his mad speed and only caught it at the last moment on his arm. If Sasuke had decided to increase the intensity right then and put the Raikage's WHOLE BODY under his line of sight, it would have ended things. But he couldn't do that since he was down and he was already running low on chakra. So, the point is that if the person is slow enough, you can ENGULF him all at once. And don't even say that Jiraiya is fast enough to reach the Raikage's speed even in Sage Mode. And if the flame engulfs him at once, how does he want to do the sealing jutsu? The plot makes Amaterasu users seem so dumb that even against someone that is super strong, the most they can do is put them in a circle of fire or put a part of their body on fire and wait for it to burn naturally. We blame the plot

And as an edo tensei he was at his full potential cause edo tensei never run out of chakra, and he wasn't sick in that fight.

I didn't say Itachi could use scorch style. I mentioned the Sasuke ish because I was trying to prove my point that the hotness and speed of burning depends on the user. I was trying to disprove your Wikipedia definition of Amaterasu. And who told you that Itachi cannot make shapes with Amaterasu? He can manipulate it freely. He cannot make complex shapes like Sasuke but he can wrap the person up in it if he wants, as in a circle. The only thing he cannot do is switching the flames off. He said it himself.

As for his fight with Kabuto, Sasuke did nothing in that fight. In fact, Itachi was protecting him and he was the one leading the charge, since he would regenerate if hit. I can assure you that your Jiraiya too cannot defeat the Sage Kabuto. He was basically indestructible. The fact that two Uchihas struggled to defeat him did not show how weak they were, but how strong Kabuto was.

I agree that Itachi isn't suited to face a crowd, but don't even mention Pain. As a reanimation, Itachi was able to immobilize Nagato, who has all the powers of the paths. Despite the fact that he had unlimited chakra and could use some flashy jutsu, he wasn't even really trying. As an Akatsuki member, he knows his secret and about the path that can summon the Hell's gate that resurrects the paths. The first thing to do would be to attack that person. A simple Amaterasu circle around them is okay to at least hold back most of the others and hopefully consume them. The only people that would give problems is the absorption guy, Konan and Yahiko. As for Konan, she can fall under genjutsu. The other two can't since they are technically dead. As for Yahiko, his Bansho Tennin(Almighty Pull) is useless against someone not as stupid as Naruto to launch an attack as you reach your pull busstop. The only problem would be Chibaku Tensei ( Planetary Devastation). I honestly don't know how Itachi would react against that(I don't know if Susanoo would be pulled, since it was able to pull Nine Tails). But at least with the Yata mirror, he can reflect all ninjutsu attacks. And as for the absorption guy, Itachi is pretty much skilled in taijutsu to take him head on, as long as the others are incapacitated. The point I am trying to make is that Itachi in his prime with an excellent chakra level would do more than Jiraiya in that fight. Most people forget that the Pain fight was 6(or 7) on three. It wasn't 6 on 1. Without the help of the frogs, Jiraiya's basic sage mode is trash, so you people should stop hyping him too much like he defeated three of Pain's paths himself. Not to mention that he had practically unlimited chakra for minutes. Jiraiya is superb, sure, but I really don't think I wanted to see more of him fighting. But as Naruto's mentor, he deserved more screen time.

And if you google too read up amaterasu on the wikia page, you would find out it burns slowly, in that fight the amaterasu caught on sasukes wings, thats why he shed them, not because it was burning fast, it burns slow but he had to rid it off to prevent spreading, and if it burnt so fast why didn't it affect his other body parts, and when he used it on a blind mandara, mandara simply took off his armor how come it didn't burn mandara, even the sand ninjas during his fight with gara, kankuro just took off their amour. and only kabuto and orichimaru can shed their bodies sasuke can google it.
Check the wiki page, you will see al you need to know about amaterasu, do your research instead of making clameless facts.
3) and thirdly yata mirror can deflect all jistu, but don't forget the toads fight with knives and yata mirror is useless against taijistu cause it only reflects all nature transformations, ying and yang release, and even if they use fire style it would undo the summoning on only the toad that casted it, when jiraya can summon more than 10 toads(fact). And how would he use yata mirror against an army of frogs, and based on smart play, yes itachi is very smart, but tell me how he can fight about 5-10 toads and sage mode jiraya all together, without running out of chakra,

And let me clarify sage mode resistance to genjistu.
As jiraya explained to naruto.
Genjistu can only work on a sage user if the caster is also a sage user. During sage mode, the user has his chakra, and nature chakra, genjistu takes control over the victims normal chakra, but if the caster isnt a sage mode user, the victim breaks out cause his sage chakra is also not under control.
And for high level genjistu, jiraya in his sage mode said if he was placed in a genjistu, the frogs in his shoulder, will break him out.

Don't forget jiraya also fought orichimaru many times without even using sage mode yet orichimaru didn't win a single one.

2. Sasuke shed his whole body, not his wings. After he absorbed Orochimaru, he was able to get the body shedding jutsu. Though he later lost the ability when Itachi removed the curse mark. In that scene, Sasuke was shouting and in pain and he crumbled to the floor. After using Chidori to open the floor, he did the body shedding jutsu and slipped inside. That's why I said it depends on how the user can manipulate it. During the Sasuke and Naruto fight, Sasuke was able to warp Amaterasu into sharp spears that destroyed Naruto's clones in one shot. He called it Honoikazuchi or something like that. Amaterasu burns slowly, yes, but just like normal fire jutsu, the intensity can be higher and it can be freely manipulated.
3. You guys talk about summoning like it is a normal jutsu. It drains chakra faster than normal jutsu. If the user is low on chakra, he/she cannot summon anything, or he will summon smaller animals. How many times have you seen Jiraiya summon more than 3 big toads? And those small clownish ones that will be giving fight commentary. What's this talk of up to 10? And you do know that Old toads that will help him enter Sage Mode will also be summoned right? Whether they fight with knives or toad oil, Itachi can summon hundreds of crows which can also block their line of sight. And the bigger they are, the easier to take down. I hope you also know that summonings can be caught in genjutsu, but it is pretty useless to use since the summoner can easily break it if he/she can. My point is, for every attack, there is a defense or a counterattack. That's how amazing Itachi is.
4. I now understand your point on genjutsu. Nevertheless, there is not one single person that fully understands the limits of Itachi's power. Do you think he became a jounin at 10 because he was a walkover? Not to mention that he can predict attacks. You guys really underestimate him a lot.

Jiraya vs orichimaru, you are talking about their lives as young ninjas yes jiraya was weak when he was still third hokages student, but after training at mt mobkyu he became hella strong. Jiraya in his prime will beat the hell out of orichimaru. And jiraya and orichimaru never really had a 1v1 fight, only a short fight that ended in a draw, and jiraya in his prime will waste orichimaru, except and only except orichimaru gets his hands back and uses edo tensei during the fight.

And yes it has been mentioned many times genjistu dosent work on sage users, when genjistu was explained, it dosent work on jinchuriki with connection to their tailed beasts, it dosent work on sage users cause they have natural control over their chakra, and it doesn't work on skilled users of occular powers.
And yes kabuto covered his eyes to avoid genjistu, but don't forget its the same kabuto who broke out of Itachi's tsukuyomi and cut itachi into half, as powerful as that genjistu was. Yes they can cast genjistu on them even sharingan/reningan users can also be hit by genjistu, but they can also break out of it very fast.
And thirdly I was comparing ganabuta to itachis susano, and yes ganabuta is stronger, he is larger than a half susano, he is almost tailed beast size and itachi in his prime could only use half susano, and tell me the only person to beat ganabuta in combact, was pein with shinra tensei, vs itachis half susano ganabuta is more larger and fights with a dagger, and he wont even be the only toad fighting, he also has gamimaru and gamakichi and that other toad with a hat, tell me how itachi can win.

And for amaterasu, kishimoto said amaterasu, burns slower than normal flames, just that its much hoter and cant go off, and even if it starts buring jiraya and he seals it, its just a burn wound, shinobi's take damage all the time, and it will only catch a small portion of his body, cause he will probably move away when it starts burning.

And also i didn't mention in taijistu, itachi shouldn't think of coming close to jiraya in sage mode. In sage mode their brute strength is increased to its peak, as high as tsunades level, naruto was basically destroying the area with basic attacks, or did you forget naruto knocked out a path of pein for a while with just a punch, and speaking of chakra levels sage chakra is almost limitless.

You also forgot one crucial info, jiraya can last longer than naruto in basic sage mode cause the frogs on his shoulders gathered the sage mode chakra for him so he didn't have to do so, before naruto had kurama to do it his clones did.
Do tell me how itachi will win.
Itachi dosent even know about that song genjistu, imagine he was hit by it at the beginning of the battle then jiraya wins without even having to fight

1. That why I said you were lying. You said that ALL the times they fought, Orochimaru lost. Meanwhile, we both know that the fights they had in their youth ended in Jiraiya being trashed. And the one Sannin showdown ended in a draw. And that was an Orochimaru without ninjutsu. What if he had ninjutsu? This was a ninja that they said he learned the seals for all the jutsus in the world. Do you know how many other forbidden jutsus you probably do not know about? Thank God for Hiruzen.
2. I really want to see the manga picture or screenshot where they clearly said genjutsu doesn't work on people in Sage Mode. Just for the purpose of my own knowledge. Yes, normal genjutsu doesn't work. But powerful genjutsu works. It depends on how skilled the individual is in using the nature energy.
In summary, SAGE MODE DOESN'T GIVE YOU AUTOMATIC IMMUNITY AGAINST GENJUTSU.
Kabuto was hit by Tsukuyomi and he was affected. But he quickly snapped out of it. What is to say that the opponent wouldn't take the decisive strike and end the battle before he snaps out of it? And the Kabuto in question had already mastered his Sage Mode. We can't say the same for Jiraiya.
3. I didn't say that Itachi would use the Amaterasu on Jiraiya. I said he would use it on Gamabunta so as to reverse the summoning. And where did Kishimoto say Amaterasu burns slowly all the time? It depends on how the caster is able to manipulate it. Even if he decides to use it on Jiraiya, how quickly would be able to seal it? During the Itachi vs Sasuke fight, did you see how quickly the Amaterasu caught up to him despite how fast he was running? And how it quickly burnt him and would have killed him save for the fact that he used that Orochimaru's body shedding jutsu? These are facts.
4. Yes, Gamabunta is bigger than his Susanoo but you forget the fact that the Susanoo carries the Yata mirror that is able to reflect all attacks, probably even a tailed beast bomb. And the person in the Susanoo is smarter than Jiraiya and his whole cohort of toads.

The only way Jiraiya is winning this fight is :
i. If he starts with Sage Mode right off the bat and does the demonic singing jutsu which is seriously dangerous. He really doesn't have much choice either way,else he will be mincemeat.
ii. If he finds a way to draw out the fight to deplete Itachi's chakra.
But Itachi is smart. If he notices that that is Jiraiya's plan, he would probably end it with Kotoamasukami and change his will. And don't tell me that wouldn't work.

PS : Out of boredom, I decided to Google search this topic and I found out that CBR rated Jiraiya as one of the 5 people weaker than Itachi

Genjistu won't work on sage mode users, cause they have complete control of their chakra, same thing why genjistu didn't work on hashirama, and in the manga when Itachi and kisami wanted to kidnap Naruto and met jiraya, remember what happened and why they fled,
Itachi casted a genjistu on jiraya thinking it worked, but it didn't (even without sage mode) and you still don't remember when Itachi used amaterasu jiraya sealed it, did you read or watch that part of the manga. They had to leave cause he was there.
And don't compare orichimaru to jiraya, orichimaru is a flexible character, he can be weak and strong depending on his comparability with opponent, the only reason he losses to uchihas is because he can't counteract genjistu, and because he didn't know about that sword. Also amaterasu would be useless on orichimaru just like it was on Kabuto since they can form new bodies by vomiting themselves out of their old ones
Don't forget jiraya also fought orichimaru many times without even using sage mode yet orichimaru didn't win a single one.

And for izanami, it would be useless on jiraya, cause izanami only works on people with tainted hearts, making them to see their true nature. that's why it worked on Kabuto, if you paid attention, Itachi explained it to Sasuke.

Am a hardcore Naruto fan, and I researched every single character.

The versus is
If Itachi fights jiraya without sage mode Itachi wins.
If Itachi fights jiraya when he is using sage mode jiraya stomps Itachi.

If Itachi used susano, as long as he doesn't hit jiraya with that sword, jiraya wins using sage mode, cause his toads can go head on with it, cause ganabuta has taken on one tail and trashed him even ripping off his arm, and pinned nine tails to the ground long enough for minato to cast the reaper God seal. And if jiraya uses, the music genjistu Itachi loses.

So jiraya wins with senjistu
And looses without senjistu

1. Genjutsu doesn't work on Sage Mode users. This is simply conjecture and based on assumptions. Nowhere did Itachi try to cast genjutsu on Jiraiya. Jiraiya is very skilled in genjutsu(basic ones won't work though) but that doesn't mean it doesn't work on him. He is simply able to break out of it quickly(I remember an episode where he and Naruto went on a mission and they encountered a ninja that uses a giant clam like animal that casts genjutsu). If genjutsu doesn't work on Sage Mode users, why do you think Kabuto was trying not to face Itachi and Sasuke head-on? I would only say the likelihood of it working depends on your skill. It doesn't mean that Sage Mode automatically gives you immunity against genjutsu. And you cannot compare Harishama to Jiraiya who cannot even sustain his Sage Mode by himself.

2. Jiraiya sealed Amaterasu. True, but did you see how long it took? More than 15 seconds. Do you think any sane person will wait around for you to finish the seal? Moreover, did it reverse the damage? It just stopped burning, but the hole was still there. If the Amaterasu has already affected the summoning, sealing it doesn't matter. The damage has been done and summoning would most likely go back or even if it stays, it is already wounded.

3. I don't know where you get your stats that Orochimaru didn't win a single fight against Jiraiya. That is a very distasteful lie. During their days as Leaf ninja, Jiraiya was considered to be the weakest of his three man cell that later became Sannin. Hiruzen always lambasted him. He was the Naruto of his team. And Tsunade and Orochimaru kept thrashing him in fights. In fact, Jiraiya plus Tsunade and their summonings versus Orochimaru ended in a deadlock, though Orochimaru took more beating. And this was an Orochimaru without his ninjutsu. Come on man. Although I agree that Jiraiya would beat him in Sage Mode, but come on. If Orochimaru corners him, when will he be able to summon the frogs that will help him enter the Sage Mode?

4. You cannot compare a fight between two big animals like Gamabunta and Shukaku or Kurama to the fight in question. We are not talking about raw power. We are talking about intelligence and technique. If raw power was the way to win a battle, how do you think the Akatsuki were able to capture seven tailed beasts? No be about size biko.

I bought it from someone sometime ago, but i tried ota update, and it failed. So i did some research and found out it was on custom rom, hence i wanted to go for the original rom cos of the functionality and all that.
Personally i would want to go for the updates like u outlined.
Is it something i can do on my own with well guided steps?

You can do it on your own with YouTube videos. You need to know how to install TWRP( It should already be installed though) and how to boot into recovery mode. Once you download the stock rom and the appropriate Gapps package, you can look for instructions on YouTube. Also, make sure to take a Nandroid backup just in case.
