It's likely that the graves are older than than the supermarket.

Several mass graves have been discovered around Europe even those dating back to the Roman Empire.. The ones resulting from violence are not orderly/carefully arranged.
I believe if it's cult killings, after removing the needed parts, they'll just discard the bodies/dump them in rivers or a mass grave without wasting time to arrange nothing..[/color]
