Not only that Facebook gathers and sell off your data and info to highest bidders and big corporations without compensating you for it in anyway. Lets be realistic, Facebook is one of the biggest monster in the AI tech age. Don't wait for me to tell you it has paid its way to the top to become our reality rubbing the palms of most governments of the world billions of dollars. Only government healthy who found it too unhealthy have banned it off their air space. Aside the fact that Facebook started on a transparency note to connect people all over the world but it became compromised along the line sometimes between 2008 to 2014. Facebook has long abandon its original objective and it is now only a safe haven and den for socially deprived and socially mal wired persons not only that, its a platform for people with criminal intents, savages and opportunist and needless publicity. Not only that, Facebook kill people's productive instinct and kills people's resourceful economic time in subtle terms without your notice such that you could summed up at the end of the month that you have given away too much to facebook and gained nothing in return. Apart for Whatsapp on Facebook nest, For me, it is a fraud and criminal to be on Facebook. A lot of the social media out there have gone rogue. For the record, I must say a lot of other social media out there along with twitter is alot if not 10 times better off facebook. Walk that bold pathway today. Facebook is a cult and a religion and if you are not on it most would consider you an alien, a psycho or a wierdo or socially detached or deranged. Little do we know that alot of facebook users today have become unconsciously indoctrinated into a zombie cult that leads them nowhere but more emptyness. Delete facebook on your phone and computer system today and enjoy untold peace, calmness, freedom in every area of your social and private life. All we get on Facebook is nothing but delusion and emptyness. Facebook is a fraud and not advancing the interest of humanity and it is an anti freedom of speech. However deficient Nairaland may seem to most of us, believe me, Nairaland is by far 10 times better than Facebook anyday any time when it comes to privacy policy protection and freedom of speech.

I was discussing with a friend of mine during one of his visits this past weekend, we talked about politics, football and a whole lot of interesting topics. We were in the middle of discussion when we tuned in into this popular reality tv series on dstv, “finding the one”. So we switched topic

I was trying to explain to him why we have many ladies looking for suitors in Nigeria and the main reason being this harsh economy. I told him no man would want to settle down until he has something to fall onto and has a good job that can sustain a family but my friend thinks otherwise.

He said the reason why some ladies get really old without suitors coming their way is because they must have ignored a lot of guys during their prime (20-28) and once reality set in they become desperate.

I told him I have a sister who is perfectly fine and doing well but good men ain’t just coming her way, but he just wouldn’t agree. I can’t believe people still think this way in this 21st century. He was telling me no matter your looks and all someone must approach you, I had to calm him down what if those coming your way ain’t even somebody you can settle with. Guess his reply? You just have to endure and get married like that.

This a guy went on for some hours before I just decided to call it a quit and told him we should just enjoy our football match.Personally to me I think nobody should be forced into marriage when he /she ain’t ready.

I just want to seek you guys opinion, he will also be on nairaland reading this. Should the sole reason of not being able to find suitors be attributed to youthful exuberance alone? Do girls who find it difficult to find a man must have been to choosy in the past? Your opinions will be highly appreciated

yea I understand.. I just believe it doesn't definitely mean it will always end in tears.. humans are too complicated to measure or assess.. the one's with terrible past may or may not be better than with the one's who claim not to have a terrible past..

how do you even begin to dig into your supposed spouse's history? is it feasible? how much info do you intend to find that can help you make concrete conclusion? does one's past always define the person's future.

I agree with her cha.. the way she phrased it is what I don't agree with.. she coined it in a way that makes it feel like there are others out there without a negative history and such person choosing to be with such a person made a decision that he/she will live with for the rest of his or life when actually it's whoever you marry you will live with the consequences of marrying such oerson for the rest of one's life (irrespective of what are past may be)...

the ones with a terrible past may have a great future and the ones with a great past may have a terrible future... please note that I used MAY..

Prolonged use of corticosteroid creams and lotions can decrease levels of collagen in the skin. Collagen strengthens and supports the skin, and a reduced amount can increase the risk of stretch marks so change your cream.
Early exposure to S** can cause it as well, so relax for a while
And lastly, early Pregnancy can as well cause it.

It's fine if you can get a cream that can deal with it but the main thing is that stretch marks occur commonly on people who gain and lose weight intermittently. One sure way to keeping the marks away is to maintain balance between weight gain and loss so that the skin breaks become less frequent.
