The F.B.I. today released still and video images of two suspects in the Boston Marathon bombings - including a man who was seen setting down a backpack at the site of the second blast - and appealed for the public’s help identifying the men.

One was seen placing a dark-colored backpack outside the Forum restaurant, the site of the second bombing, just minutes before the explosion, said Richard DesLauriers, the special agent in charge of the F.B.I.'s Boston field office.

“Today we are enlisting the public’s help to identify the two suspects,” Mr. DesLauriers said at a news conference on Thursday evening in Boston.

In the video, both men are carrying backpacks, and wearing baseball caps, one a dark cap and one a white cap turned backward. They are walking along Boylston Street.

The images were located as investigators spent hours since Monday afternoon’s attack poring over surveillance videos from stores near the scenes of the two deadly blasts, as well as footage take on smartphones and by television crews filming the Boston Marathon. “Within the last day or so, through that careful process, we initially developed a single person of interest,” Mr. DesLauriers said. “Not knowing if the individual was acting alone or in concert with others, we obviously worked with extreme purpose to make that determination.”

After a concerted effort, he said, investigators determined that a second suspect had been involved.
Both men appeared to be wearing dark-colored zippered-front jackets. The first, whom Mr. DesLauriers called Suspect 1, wore a dark-colored baseball cap with a white emblem on it and markings on the front, a white T-shirt and tan pants. Visible around the edges of his cap was short dark hair. The man he identified as Suspect 2 wore a white baseball cap backward, with dark-colored pants. He had slightly longer curly hair. The men appeared to be wearing hooded sweatshirts beneath the jackets.

Mr. DesLauriers did not characterize the appearance of the men or offer an opinion as to their possible ethnicity or national origin.

Mr. DesLauriers urged anyone who has seen the men, or who knows who they are, to call 1-800-CALL-FBI (1-800-225-5324).

A few days ago, MediaTakeOut posted some incriminating photos of NFL star Kerry Rhodes on vacation with his former assistant, Russell Simpson, and implied that Kerry's assistant was his gay partner. Kerry called into TMZ shortly after the photos leaked and denied he was gay. He told TMZ:

Photos have been circulating of my former assistant and I that have caused some rumors regarding my sexuality, and I want to address the situation. I am not gay. I know a lot of people are recently talking about athletes struggling to come out to their fans right now, and I support them, as well as wish those individuals comfort."

It was rumored last week that four players in the NFL are considering coming out as gay in a group sometime soon, but Kerry said he's not one of them. A few days after the interview with TMZ, Kerry's former assistant, Russell, has hit him hard.

Hollywood On How He Met Kerry

"I met Kerry about a year and a half ago when I went to Arizona for an assistant job. Me and my friend Alton went to Kerry's game. Kerry was injured at the time so he came up to our suite. He was interested in knowing who I was. He was looking for a new assistant and was interested in me and Alton. He wanted us to assist him."

In a bizarre demonstration of how much impact celebrities have on the mass media and even politics, President Barack Obama recently commented about Jay-Z’s diss track “Open Letter,” in which he took aim at Obama for the flack he and his wife Beyonce received after their recent vacation to Havana, Cuba.

“I wasn’t familiar that they were taking the trip," the president says in an interview with Today's Savannah Guthrie that was conducted Monday before the Boston Marathon bombings and aired Wednesday on the NBC morning show.

In “Open Letter,” Jay-Z implies Obama reprimanded him directly for touring Havana: “Obama said ‘Chill you’re going to get me impeached’/ You don’t need this sh—anyway, chill with me on the beach.”

“My understanding is I think they went through a group that organizes these educational trips down to Cuba. You know, this is not something the White House was involved with. We've got better things to do," Obama said.

Under current U.S policy, Americans can only visit Cuba as part of an academic or educational program and they must receive a license to do so from the U.S. Treasury Department of Foreign Assets Control. Jay-Z and Beyonce’s visit to Cuba was approved by the Treasury as an educational and cultural exchange, not a relaxing getaway. When the couple returned with photos of a dream beach vacation they were attacked by Florida conservative Republican Senator Marco Rubio and Reps. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen and Mario Dian-Balart, who issued angry complaint letters.

I an interview with ABC News’ “This Week,” Rubio remarked, "I won't rap it, but I'll say, first of all, I think Jay-Z needs to get informed. The travel policies need to be tightened because they are being abused. These are tourist trips, and what they are doing is providing hard currency and funding so that a tyrannical regime can maintain its grip on the island of Cuba."

In “Open Letter” Jay-Z also fired back at Rubio and his constituents saying, “They wanna give me jail time and a fine -- Fine, let me commit a real crime."

“Open Letter” was produced by Swizz Beatz and Timbaland. In an interview with New York’s Hot 97, Swizz said they started the song in Jay-Z’s office. "I had the portable drum machine with me, then we went down to the 40/40 [club] to watch the game," he said. "Then [Timbaland] came by and was like, 'That beat is crazy.' Next morning, Jay called me with verses."

But unfortunately for them now, women who are making such future plans may have the plans fall flat as the U.S embassy has got wind of the popular gimmick pregnant women use to secure visa for child delivery in the foreign country.

Already, the embassy has outlined some conditions which have to be met before such a visa which falls under medical tourism category is issued. But these conditions will not be favourable to many.

The applicant has to show proof of available funds of at least $140,000 (about N24 million) to pay medical fees; the applicant has to show proof of the need for medical attention in the U.S, such as high risk pregnancy and the likes.

US Embassy Chief of Consular Section, Ms Carol Cox disclosed that it would cost at least $60,000 to have a baby in the US and when complications arise from the delivery; the medical bills may go as high as $140,000.

Thus, fund availability, is very important as it is necessary to ensure that American taxpayers do not have to pay such bills, says Cox.

‘We owe the American public who pay taxes to make sure that those who seek medical services in the US pay for such services. This is essential because there are those who have the money and are not willing to pay.

‘It is very frustrating when you see a woman who is obviously pregnant. Sometimes seven months gone, tell you during a visa interview that she is just going to the US for a vacation,’ she said.

This new law was obviously made to discourage Nigerian women from traveling in the bid to get citizenship for such children but only those who need medical attention and can afford at least N24 million for medical bills will have the opportunity to deliver children in the country.

Lagos State Governor Babatunde Fashola, yesterday April 9th, commissioned the newly-constructed Ikeja Millemium Housing Estate, which he named after former Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, Chief Emeka Anyaoku.

Fashola said he named the 76-unit four-bedroom duplexes located on Muiz Banire Street, GRA Ikeja, after Anyaoku because the former Commonwealth Secretary General had contributed tremendously to the development of Lagos State.

Troubled singer Chris Brown was spotted cozying up with a mystery woman Saturday night, days after he admitted he was worried his on-and-off again girlfriend Rihanna would cheat on him while touring.

Brown was partying at the Playhouse nightclub in Hollywood Saturday night and was caught holding hands with the blonde clubgoer. He even gave her a full bottle of Armand de Brignac champagne.

Witnesses said Brown and his posse left the nightclub with a few girls in tow and piled into two vehicles.

Perhaps the troubled singer felt like he deserved a night off following his court appearance on Friday to answer accusations that he had falsified community service documents.

The judge ended up postponing the review, but community service is part of Brown's probation following his felony assault sentence for beating Rihanna before the 2009 Grammy Awards.

Brown and Rihanna have not spent much time together recently as he is on a promotional tour for his forthcoming album "X" and she is on her "Diamonds" concert tour.

“Wealth is beyond money and affluence. It can be classified as a large amount of something, ranging from experience to talent. It is a word that quantifies and qualifies anything. For instance, you could say someone has a wealth of interesting qualities. Many people have said the same to me because there are so many parts to who I am, who I have become and who God has created me to be. I am a businesswoman, a fashion designer and milliner by profession.

“The word wealth qualifies and measures one’s success in achieving set targets and goals, prosperity, and blessings. Blessings can be in the form of good health, the education of children and even living to a ripe old age. Therefore, a wealthy woman is someone who has been able to achieve some, all or even more than these because grace for wealth is unlimited from our God. He desires to bless us all on a daily basis. We just need to learn how to key into it so that we do not limit ourselves,” she says.

The executive vice chairman, Famfa Oil Limited, she founded Supreme Stitches, which later changed to Rose of Sharon House of Fashion, a fashion label that catered to upscale clientele.

Speaking further about her relationship with God, she said “I heard the call of the Lord into Christian ministry many years ago but I was reluctant to yield to the call.

“I believe that my passion for fashion was hugely responsible as I was definitely enjoying what I was doing for a living, although in hindsight, it was really a fulfilling and successful hobby because I was not dependent on it. The zeal to succeed in whatever I decide to do, drove the business. I don’t design clothes any more except the odd ones I may choose to design when I commission such through another fashion designer.”

She also runs a non-profit organisation, the Rose of Sharon Foundation, which she says has changed the lives of hundreds of widows, their children and orphans.

Born in 1951, to the Ogbara family in Ikorodu, Lagos State, she is from a Muslim polygamous family of 52 children. Being the eighth from her father and second from her mother, she says her relationship with 45 other siblings is cordial. “God gave my father the grace to provide for all of us and send more than three quarter of us to England and America to study. My other sibling and I were the first to go. The four years that I spent at such a young age abroad, impacted positively on my life,” she states.

“I was in boarding school and we were the only blacks in the school. I regret that the school building which is one of the most cherished buildings in Wales, has been sold. If I had learnt years ago that it was up for sale, I would have bought it and turned it into a health club. I remember with nostalgia, the etiquette lessons we got-elocution, horse riding, singing lessons, stamp collection, etc. I learnt a lot in those four years. I had to come back quickly because my father didn’t want me to imbibe the western culture to the detriment of our own culture,” she adds.

Never assume that her successes could hinder a blissful marital life. The mother of four, who is now a grandmother, says the success of any marriage depends on respect and submission. To her, a woman can be successful in business and at the home front.

“Personally, I always make sure I seek the support and approval of my husband in whatever I plan to do, either for the day or for the future. This is because I strongly believe he is the head of our home and God is in the centre. As we honour and respect our husbands, God honours and uplifts the work of our hands. He guides and directs us and prospers our plans as a result. I also make it a point of duty not to shirk my responsibilities to my children,” she states.
