Hey there! I’ve created this thread today with the sole aim of providing enlightenment on the types of lubricants we use for our cars—whether for the engine, transmission, or even the differential (when applicable). It’s quite simple:
• State the make, model, year, and trim.
• Provide the oil grade (e.g., 5W-30) and brand you currently use for maintenance.
• If you’ve noticed any pros or cons, briefly explain them.

This way, we can guide even new car owners on the right fluids to use and also correct those who may be using the wrong ones.

Check fan circuit first ( fuse, relay and wire integrity ). If all is well. Remove fan bench test it
Most likely you have a failed fan

Reliable
Durable
Low fuel consumption
Low/moderate maintenance.

N/B this would be my first car.

Both are nice cars with their Own different perks, I’ll suggest the rx330 though over the Rav4 only because of the model years which use 2az Fe engines which are known to burn oil. The rx330 also looks much appealing compared to the rav4 but in terms of maintenance and fuel consumption I the rav4 wins ( only for the 4 plugs variant)

For a first time buyer which would you recommend between a foreign used Es 330 or Nigerian used 2013 Camry, or ES 350, which other options can I consider? Budget is #8m

You can never go wrong with any of the above choices, but if you are keen on maintenance cost and mobility cost ( fueling ) go for the Nigerian Used 2013 Camry ( 4 plugs ) it’ll be much easier on a first time user. You can also reach out to me if you need any of the choices above

Have you checked out the AF fuse too as well as the AF relay. As someone has adviced above check wire integrity. A short would cause all this. A physical inspection would be required and I’m in Lagos also
