seiraries: Good. You have strong home ties. I advise that you still use a sponsor. If your spouse is employed, show proof of this and also evidence that she (if she's female) and your child will be well-funded in your absence. That should be okay. ;Dlol @ if she's female |

Niana: What school and doesn't your acceptance letter expire on the 15th( Late resumption)? you can mail the school and inform them that you are yet to receive an update from CIC and that you are requesting that your admission be posted to the next available date. seeing that your resumption is already at hand. |

Vblossom: Thanks @ Louissylva MY other question is I Learnt on this trend that VO dont give Visa for part time studies. i have a bachelor degree in Nursing. am applying to CONESTOGA COLLEGE. Graduate Certificate in Critical and Critical Care Nursing. NOTE; The course is only available in part time for international student. The such course in full time for international student What should i do in this case? Should i go ahead or apply to another school.
Again, is Graduate certificate same thing as Post graduate diploma? If u are so passionate abt d course u shld refine ur search for schools dat offer it full time to international students, if nt u go for an optional course dat is full time den wen u get der u can switch courses. Graduate cert is nt d same tin as PGD. A graduate certificate(GradCert, GCert, GradC) is a higher education qualification at the same level as a bachelor's degree but more limited in scope, taking less time to complete - this might be a year, or as little as one term or semester. A postgraduate diploma on the other hand (PGDip, PgDip, PG Dip., PGD, PgD, PDE) is a postgraduate qualification awarded typically after a bachelor's degree. |

Vblossom: I have been following this link and the people here are wonderful people and are helpful. I graduated Nov. 2012, served in NYSC 2013/2014. Started working in a private Firm February 2015 till date. I am 27 year old, I am married, I am about to apply for a post graduate Part time study in Conestoga college in Canada. i need your kind help on the following questions; 1. Can I ask someone living in Canada to help me pay my application fee to the school? Will helping me pay the fees affects the VO granting me visa? Note; someone is helping me to pay cos i am finding it difficult to pay from Nigeria. 2. Should I acknowledge I know someone in Canada if asked? 3. Must I share same surname with my sponsor as I will need a sponsor since my personal savings is just 600,000 Naira which is meager, Note; I am using sponsor cos my Dad is late and my savings cannot afford it. 4. If I am asked why I chose to do part time, what will be an ideal response/reply from me? Should I tell the VO, that its to enable me hustle/work.? 5 . Considering I will be sponsored , Should I say I am married if asked by the VO? 6. Are international students doing part time allowed to work 7. Assist with any other relevant information 1. Yes you can and it wont affect the VO granting u visa 2. Only if its a family member 3. U dnt need to share same surname with ur sponsor but in d affidavit of sponsorship ur sponsor has to state y he/she is sponsoring u and hw much he is willing to provide u with 4. Ur best bet is to do a full time course instead of part time. Even with a full time course u can still work. Doing a part time raises a red flag that ur true intentions are nt for study. Unless u are soooooo damn good at convincing otherwise 5. U shld disclose ur marital status. This could help to serve as home tie. 6. My dear I will strongly advice u focus on a full time course. Wen u get ur TRV u can sort urself out |

Kriss77: Not all schools requires such...though some do. And it even depends on ur choice of program... Some programs requires English test while some doesn't ..so u need to check properly d requirements of d program u intend to study..
And if you can write the school and tell dem u re from 9ja...dey might waive dat 4 u...coz English is our general language. Thanks for the reply. But its not necessary to use for visa application is it? |

Make yourself the project manger overseeing the project Make sure u have an assistant project manager And list out other positions Treasurer Members Accountant Other *make another print out of 'your community development association' acknowledging to your absence and approving it cause it would be more gain to the community if you have international knowledege *gather some men, and kids, stay on the street n take a picture and write "community development project 2012" * stand beside electric poles and do the same thing Ps: make sure all document are signed and dated by any 1 TAVKILING TRAVEL HISTORY Just that you're applying soon, I would have advised you sacrifice 5k, goto cotonue, get stamped at the border Include it in your sop, that you went to oversee a project and you realized you needed more international exposure as the project management world is evolving by the minute Make sure you tell em to backdate the stamp and spacen the entry and departure (that's if you'll be goin) Also they are boys that do the whole thing for a fee! You'll get stamped entry and departure of 4 countries (ghana, togo, cote dvoir, benin) You can always ask around All that just to tackle TRAVEL HISTORY Just my idea of showing ties to your home country and development to your environments.
