be careful as u ask such a question dat leaves u open to scammers.
A sponsor letter is not something someone just writes for u just for writing sake for a fee. ur sponsor must be resident in Germany with substantial prove dat he can sponsor u tru out ur education. this prove he must obtain in Germany. I could potentially tell u to pay me dat I could do it for u and scam u so be careful. if u av anyone in Germany with adequate funds contact d person.

Ur dollar dom account is not Euro dom account so u cant use it to make transfer for ur db payment. Maybe u shld contact ur bank to advice u better. But if I may suggest u might av to convert ur dollar dom acct to Euro dom account to enable u transfer euro to ur db account and dis might entail u selling ur dollar for Euro. Just contact ur bank to give u more info.

Yes u can. Just ensure u meet up with the required amount as soon as possible especially if u av applied for a visa already. But if u avnt u can take ur time.

1. your question is very funny. ur friend can help u fund ur account as long as he/she is funding with Euros and sends the required amount. just like asking if someone can pay in money into ur Nigerian account for u.

2. compulsory if u are applying/applied for visa. if u change ur mind abt applying for visa den its not compulsory

Bro take some chill pills. I did my interview a week before urs. Though I got email reminder to fund. If u av funded just forward d details to embassy. Dnt wait. Dey are dealing with a lot of apps dis period hence d slow processing. Hit d panic button(its on the left hand side of ur computer cool

i would have also suggested you use a domiciliary statement if its possible. reason been that with the way FX is going up to heaven and not hell if you open and keep the Euro in ur account now u will be at a safer side when the time comes to fund ur blocked account and it will be faster wen transfering the money just in case by the time ur bank details come out 1Euro might be N500. this is what i did. wen i CBN policy ws abt to come out i quickly got EURO from black market and open a dorm account. now looking back i actually got it cheaper than wat banks or even black market is selling.

on the other hand, EURO might still fall so its ur choice. just consider all ur options well.

if the required amount is in ur personal account den i say by all means use your account. otherwise u use ur dads account or better still he transfers the amount to ur account den u use ur personal account. they just want to be certain that the money is at hand you can fund the account.

I know for sure that your visa will be processed and sent to germany. It will even be approved within the stipulated 4 to 6 weeks by the competent alien authority. If you haven't funded before then ,however, the lagos consulate will refuse to send you confirmation of visa but reminder to fund instead.

The statement above is at least true for myself and almost everyone i know who didn't fund before/immediately after interview.

without the Embassy receiving funding notification your application will be termed incomplete. if u have notification of funding forward it to the embassy especially if you av been contacted to send the confirmation.

to make things easier for you it is advised u learn the german language. either in Nigeria or in germany.

as to what uni-assist said i cant really say. didnt pass that route

for the blocked account issue, it is mandatory to open a blocked account with a german bank. the embassy usually prefers Deustche Bank. having another account in the uk doesnt matter.

between, i tot u said u have read the few pages in the thread. read from page 2 of this current thread to make things easier for u.

You can send them a mail to confirm if they received the document u sent and dey will reply u. Dey don't just reply unless ur visa is ready, dats wen dey will tell u to submit ur passport and insurance.

hmmmm, this is very rare indeed. well, you were given till september which is enough time. why not go with the mail you got. get your travel insurance and send your passport and be hopeful. you could be the first this has happened to. congrats.
