Jarus:

Dear Xavier,
First and foremost, a Mod doesn't have access to any member's personal info/account other than those publicly displayed at the owner's option. The difference between a Mod and other members is that a Mod can send PM, delete, lock, move or sticky topic. That's all. A mod can't ban, neither can he access any member's info other than those optionally displayed on his profile by the user himself. The Supermod and other Mods can testify to that.
In fact, it was because of the alllegations you put up there that I did not use the NL PM facility to send you that message, lest I be accused of using Mod privilege for personal communication with a member.

Now, how did I get your email address?
I could have gotten that without being a Mod, and infact I had known it before I became a Mod.
Recall your username in 2008? Are you not a member of one forum that of that forum, Naija something, that operates by sending chain mails, displaying post and email address of posters?
I receive emails from that forum(before I unsubcribed recently) and when you see a mail from yourformername@yahoo.com, it's no rocket science to know it's you behind that email address. It's like seeing jarus@yahoo.com elsewhere in a Nigerian forum, for someone that knows me on NL even if I hide my email addy here,it is reasonable to guess I'm behind that email address.

So my knowing your email address has nothing to do with my being a Mod.

Your friend,
Jarus

Yeah right. We are no fools.

Look at the PM from a supposed moderator.

Look at the language.

81-yr-old Ondo commissioner’s mother, granddaughter regain freedom

After spending 10 days with the kidnappers, the 81-year-old mother of the Commissioner for Culture and Tourism in Ondo State, Mrs. Pege Wewe, and her granddaughter, Rachael Lawrence, on Sunday, regained their freedom.

However, the Ondo State Police Command had arrested two people in connection with the abduction.

The people were penultimate Friday abducted by unknown gunmen, who stormed their residence at Sabomi in Ese-Odo Local Government Area of the state, demanding a ransom of N20 million.

The Nigerian Tribune, however, gathered that the commissioner’s mother and the 12- year-old girl were rescued in a community in Sapele, Delta State.

Some people from the riverine area of Ondo State were said to have hinted the police that the captives were being held in the community.

The woman and her granddaughter were, however, taken to the office of the State Security Service (SSS) immediately they were rescued.

They were taken to the SSS office at Alagbaka, Akure, in company with the commissioner, Chief Tola Wewe, where they spent few minutes before they were driven out.

But no official of the security agency was on hand to give a detail account of how they were rescued.

However, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) for the Ondo State Command, Mr Aremu Adeniran, said a combined team of security agencies in the state was involved in the operation.

According to him, the two people that were earlier arrested were picked up to enable police get necessary information on the incident.

Aremu, however, commended the people of the communities that provided information that led to the rescue of the abductees.

He said the command was ready to combat crime from all front, saying that the state would not be a safe heaven for criminals.

I am tired of ignora.muses who keeps coming here to tell us what we already know, Nigeria is a dead zone, we kill ourselves, we are animals, we are in the stone age compared to your America and your UK, fine, we all know that one. If you keep repeating it, you are not making any sense, you are sounding like a broken record, and you may go mad in the process of trying to make that point. So, you are not making any point by repeating it, anywhere, not even here, so you might as well wake up every morning, carry a placard and write all that fact on it and walk through Broadway or Liverpool Street or anywhere like that.

But, what makes news, and worth talking about is when we begin to see a figment of the animalistic "Nigeria" and "Nigerians" in those places which you call heaven, that is what is worth talking, that is worth makes news, and that is what sensible people are talking about here. So, save your saliva and keep to the thread, keep to the topic, so, dont tell us what we already know. An english man in New York, LOL.

Who cares if i am a man or woman, just like most of you come here to yearn or say what you are not, everyone also has the right to do that. Even those who barely can eat where they are come here to call themselves kings and queens and yearn dust against the other person.

LOL. Nigerian Americans.

Wow! A bunch of animals! A friend was just telling me a few days ago that if I ever go to Nigeria (I haven't been there since I was real young) that if I passed by,say, Tinubu's house and made a stop or slowed down that his security details would accost me and try to harass me! What kind of country is that that public roads are now off limits to the citizenry

Yeah right. Na animals full Nigeria. Sh.it.

There are places everyone knows , No parking, No slowing down, No stopping. Are there no places like that in your America?

Dont come here to yearn dust like poo dung.
Religion / Re: Is It Legal For A Man To Marry His Widow's Sister? by LouisThoro: 8:37am On Oct 25, 2010
How can it ever be possible na? A man can only have a widow if he is dead, so, it is practically impossible, legally or illegally for this to happen, because the man is dead.

They say Nigeria education system is bad, yet, the UK recruited thousands of Nigerian graduates to go and work in the UK within the past five years through the hitherto HSMP programme.

Crime / Re: Another Nigerian Kid Shot Dead - London No Place To Raise Your Children ? by LouisThoro: 2:42am On Oct 25, 2010
They have a way of defending every thing.

Where in Nigeria do youngsters kill themselves like in the UK?

LOL.

They will fight you with all that is in their blood to let you "think" that Nigeria's case is worse. Meanwhile, we reasonable people know better, but something turns in their stomach when you begin to point out the fact that Nigeria is safer in that respect.
Crime / Re: Another Nigerian Kid Shot Dead - London No Place To Raise Your Children ? by LouisThoro: 2:38am On Oct 25, 2010
I knew it will get to these, some fools will begin to make it a Nigeria/UK comparison case.

I cant never get tired of laughing at these kind of people.

Noone is saying Nigeria is safer than the UK, we know UK/USA is king because Nigeria is meant for animals, not human beings for sure.

So, lets not derail the topic, abeg, we are not asking wether to move your children back to Nigeria where animals live compared to the UK. Fool.

LOL.
