Also, US scholar Alice Linsley writes that the Edo people are genetically related to the Edomites, who were neighbours of the Israelites.

She also states that the Ijebu people are descended from the Jebusites, another neighbour of Israel.

It seems that when they were driven from that area by Romans, they fled together into inner Africa, ie Nigeria, and remained neighbours just as they were over there.

That Yorubas, Igbos, Edos, and related groups live in close proximity today is not by accident.

It is based on very deep connections going back thousands of years.

Hehehehehe grin grin grin

That one of the Jebusites and the Ijebus always cracks me up! grin

I’d go out on a limb and declare that there’d be no hands raised when it comes to having genetical links to the notorious Sodomites shocked

Where is your optimism derived from that makes you think a Tinubu gov’t will go out of their way to revise a already concluded design just so you Igbo will be included in his multi-billion dollar project….conceived primarily to favour his Lagos/south-west and his business interests!?

You should have learnt by now from how the railways (trains, tracks and stations) master-plan was implemented: they took loan worth billions of dollars from China and started in their south-west and north-west regions, then when it came to our turn, all of a sudden money finish! Go see the rubbish they’re building in and around Aba: with shovel and wheelbarrow, and with zero intention to replicate in the south-east and south-south the same kind of sexy new and modern trains, tracks and stations they built for themselves in their region…with a loan ALL OF US will pay back!

"Anambra doesn't need new school"

Soludo Commissions School Projects Built By Philanthropist, Recommits To Revolutionizing Education In Anambra.
Governor Soludo spoke at an event at the Capital City Secondary School, Awka during the commissioning of projects built by Mr. Clem Nwogbo
The projects include a storey building housing digital library, classrooms, and assembly hall at Capital City Secondary School, rehabilitation and grassing of football field at Amaenyi Community Primary School and construction of drainage channel to combat erosion at Amaenyi Primary school, Awka.

Seems comprehension is your problem! That the state doesn't NEED new schools doesn't mean new ones can't be built by private initiative! What the state NEEDS is the rehabilitation and proper equipping of all its public and private schools! The time may come when the state gov't has suplus funds to spend on education, they can then afford to build even more new schools to improve the teacher/student class ratio, but on the scale of preference, it's not a NEED!

Showcasing the neat network of inner-villa roads of Adazi-Ani in Anaocha LGA, built by private initiative! The content creator wrongly ascribed the job to the state gov't, but reading through the comments i gather they were done by privately.

I notice some property owners are defacing the pristine nature of the new roads by tipping their sand and stones, and mixing cement on the newly constructed roads! The town union or LG authourity should give the idiots brush and a bucket of soapy water and make them get down on their knees to scrub out any traces of their selfish idiocy and return the road back to how they met it! Very annoying, walahi! People tend not to care for public property as they would their own!

answer the question...I thought you guys said thief Obi develop Anambra

It's a dumbass question built on a faulty premise! Do you blindly go about building new schools when the challenge is not inadequate number of schools but rehabilitating and stocking existing ones? Anambra doesn't need new schools...there are enough public and private ones already, and the then Governor Obi would have known this! Budgeted funds for primary and secondry education in the state are used mainly to equip and upgrade existing ones, as well as assist those owned by the Church! This is a template that has worked for the state since the tenure of Governor Obi, and is proving to be the right one given the countless number of national and international awards their state schools and teachers have won over the years!

Or funds pocketed?

In June 2020, Seplat Energy and its joint venture partner NNPC laid a foundation for a 150-200 bed Emergency and Infectious Diseases Hospital at Imo State University Teaching Hospital (IMSUTH) Orlu, Imo State. It was to cost $2 million and to be completed in 18 months.

Now 4 years after, no hospital.
Who is to blame? Seplat or NNPC?

I remember this! This was when NNPC built a multi-billion naira hospital in Katsina, and the question was then asked if they were also going to replicate this in other regions of the country! Then they arm-twisted SEPLAT to build for the south-east just so they can say the south-east was also getting a hospital too! This was when a once peaceful SEPLAT (peaceful until the coming of Buhari in 2015) all of a sudden found themselves facing host community unrests and boardroom issues which led to the exit of the then MD Avuru, and DR Orjiakor being forced out as chairman! You see, when a envious and meddlesome federal gov't open your chapter and want to get rid of you for whatever reason, only God and fortuitous good fate can save you! lipsrsealed

Check the links for more on the hospital they built in Katsina! Now can anyone point to the one they built anywhere in the south-east?

Get the F outta here, there are several richer investors ready to submit their bids and buy off the investment. SEPLAT and his sloppy ass who couldn't seal a deal for two and half years can get the F outta tha way.

This has always been una plan.....driven by insane hatred for the Igbo and the belief no Igbo owned coy or coy with majority/sizeable Igbo ownership should be given the space and encouragement to thrive to the point of becoming the market leader in a given industry, and for its owners not to become wealthy enough to feature on Forbes richest! There's a glass ceiling you (the Fulani/Yoruba hegemonic alliance) have set for Ndigbo beyond which they are not permitted to exceed!

This issue with SEPLAT, MOBIL and the NNPC (NNPC being controlled by the president) has been going on for close to two years now....if not longer! Meanwhile, the deal involving Tinubus' OANDO went without a hitch! We all woke up one morning, few months after Tinubu was sworn in, only to hear OANDO had bought 100% of AGIPs assets! No hassle, no debate, no dilly-dallying, no gov't/NNPC objections.....only AGIP workers were the ones protesting about the hurried deal! Check the date of the news in the first link below!

OANDO, up until the coming of Tinubu, was facing boardroom and other challenges and was turning out to be one of the worst run indigenous oil coys, then all of a sudden it has started getting deals left, right and centre, and is now bouyant enough to buy out AGIP 100%! That's Nigeria for you....a country where you have to come from the 'right' ethnic group in order to thrive, get unfair advantages from gov't, and be left TF alone and not hounded!

Also, another deal was signed few months ago, and we're told Renaissance Consortium are buying SHELLs onshore assets! The consortium consists of a number of companies one of which i only started hearing in the news after Tinubu was sworn in....ARADEL ENERGY! The second link leads to a report on the acquisition! You'd be naive and foolish not to believe one or more of the coys involved are proxies/fronts for Tinubu! and his gang!

THE ONLY REASON THIS SEPLAT/MOBIL DEAL HASN'T BEEN FINALISED IS BECAUSE THE COY HAS A SIGNIFICANT IGBO OWNERSHIP! THE SUBSTANTIVE MINISTER OF PETROLEUM WAS BUHARI, AND WHEN TINUBU TOOK OVER FROM HIM THE MINISTERIAL PORTFOLIO WAS ALSO PASSED ON TOO! There's the odd occassion you'd find the hegemonic alliance pretending to be fair to a Igbo owned or majority owned coy, and that's when it's in their interest to do so, or when they want to use it for propaganda purposes: that 'this gov't is fair to all, including the Igbo'!

Innoson has been expanding massively without going public, so what’s the need?

So you want Tinubu to turn Nigeria to London in less than a year when obi couldn't turn Anambra to London in 8 years?

Even obi couldn't do the unthinkable by performing beyond expectation in 8 years in small Anambra state but Tinubu should perform magic in less than a year.

Ordinary to hold a LG election, obi failed to hold one for more than 7 years till he was forced by the court to do so

Peter Obi operated within the constraints placed on state gov’ts by a overbearing, all-controlling and divisive federal gov’t/constitution! With the benefit of hindsight and now knowing how Nigeria is set up and operates, i’d say Peter Obi performed well as governor!

Tinubu, has no such encumbrances having stolen the presidency! Hope you’ve heard the saying that the Nigerian president is one of the most ‘powerful’ in the world (this largely accounts for the autocratic and dictatorial nature most display)!? Tinubu did next to nothing as governor of Lagos….that is besides entrenching his mafioso godfather structure and devising ingenious ways to steal billions (probably of dollars) of Lagos state public funds! Even Goofy could govern Nigeria or Lagos because there’s a lot of money to fritter away and a lack of accountability! Had he been governor of states like Anambra, Ekiti or Jigawa, that’s when his vacuous nature would become apparent! ‘Tinubu built Lagos’ my black ass!

I complained a few weeks ago about how dirty parts of Enugu looked....esp' Agbani road! So i clicked on this clip more in hope than expectation of seeing a marked improvement in sanitation levels of the city! I'm pleasantly surprised at the vast improvements shown! The roads look well swept and clear of sand/dust/sediment, and the gutters are cleared of rubbish! Also, there's a noticeable effort put into maintaining the greenery on the median and roadsides. The Agbani road i complained about looks cleaner too! So the state gov't is to be commended on this!

In the past when anyone wants to show Enugu, they always focus on Indepence layout, which being a GRA and highbrow area is expected to be neat, besides that, it doesn't really represent Enugu seeing as it's only about 10% of the entire city!

The areas that need a little more work are: the traffic and street lights that are vandalised of dead need to be attended to; the state gov't should ensure all trafic lights are obeyed...they're not installed just for fancy; greenery on the medians need to be nurtured and maintained a bit better as there are quite a lot of bald/patchy spots; and it looks like the road markings are fading on some roads. Besides these few minor issues, everything else looks ok!

Sit at home is ipob inventory in Igbo land you can't take it away from them.
Ipob bu ndi ekwuo ozo ana eme ozo who takes them seriously? They will officially announce cancellation of sit at home and still enforce lt from behind. When have they ever taken responsibility for their sabotage in SE?
You are blaming outsiders for crime been committed by people who speaks same dialect like yours. How can strangers enter your villages to enforce sit at home? I mean non Igbos? Is it even possible? But ipob will always shift blame, we are not fooled that is why their agitation have come crashing not even in a stalemate.

Sure IPOB 'invented' sit-at-home first as a way of remembering the victims of the uncivil war and also the pogrom of Easterners that preceded it! The sit-at-home means of civil disobedience was initially also used by IPOB to protest the state-sanctioned murder of peaceful agitators by the evil Buhari gov't! But of course you wouldn't remember that one or it wouldn't strike a chord with you because the victims are the very same Igbo you despise or have scant regard for!

Since IPOB has a non-violence ethos and seeing as the Buhari gov't was intent on wasting as many lifes of peaceful agitators as they had the bullets for, IPOB decided to go down the sit-at-home route to show their grievances over the killing of their members! Now seeing how effective this form of civil-disobedience was in passing the message to a wicked federal gov't who were getting increasingly frustrated they didn't see anyone on the streets to use for target practice, and seeing how it was showing the level of support IPOB was gaining in the region (remember, when it started, the sit-at-home was not enforced and was willfully obeyed to varying degrees by different cities in the region)....seeing all this, the hegemonic deep-state then decided to hijack the civil-disobedience and this marked the point the so called 'enforcement of sit-at-home' began, aimed at trying to turn the minds of Igbos/Biafrans against IPOB and its call for a referendum on secession! This was also the period after Mazi kanu escaped, by the skin of his teeth, the storming of his village by Buharis' murderous army goons and was the period he was being protected by the State of Israel! The Buhari gov't was getting increasingly alarmed, panicked and terrified by Mazi Kanus' broadcasts that exposed them and got naive, complacent and daft Nigerians thinking, and i believe this was when they hatched the plot to deceive him into travelling to a African country willing to cut a deal with them to capture him! Mazi Kanu let his guard down in travelling to Kenya....thinking he could trust any black African country to ensure his safety and uphold the rule-of-law! When they had suceeded in kidnapping him from Kenya, that marked the point the plan to destabilise and 'factionalise' IPOB was hatched, and this led to the emergence of the efulefu scoundrel ekpa and all sorts of new voices purporting to be 'factions' of IPOB! PART OF THE PLOT IS ALSO TO DESTABILISE THE SOUTH-EAST BY CARRYING OUT HIGH-PROFILE MURDERS AND 'ENFORCING' SIT-AT-HOME, THEN GETTING AGENTS LIKE YOU TO COME ON THE MEDIA TO BLAME MAZI KANU AND IPOB!

Only discerning Nigerians can join the dots and now begin to understand why the hegemonic alliance (in power from 2015 to date) is refusing to obey valid court rulings and free Mazi Kanu! It will pull the rug from beneath the feet of their agents like ekpa, and also expose all their evil plans and and murderous shenanigans! When Mazi Kanu said recently that his release will put an end to the insecurity in the south-east, many either naively or intentionally misinterpreted his assertion as 'empty bragging' or 'proof' that he's the one ordering attacks in the region! This is someone who has been illegally held for years oh! It's lost on them that by accusing Mazi Kanu of 'organising' attacks from their gulag, that they're inadvertently indicting themselves as being complicit!
