GTB POS is free abroad from my experience...GTB better for oversea transactions like this. |

This money were donated by oil companies, which i can categorize as political lobbyist, i want to know why FG never go after this companies if they committed a crime. If this money were from NSA, I can say there is a valid reason, a lot of companies and governor sponsored APC also, is this rule against only the PDP. Yes i know they will say wailer or IPOB, i just need clarification from mature minds and good political analyst. |
Moderator, this topic is misleading, blackberry legacy device is Blackberry OS, Blackberry has not stop Blackberry 10 development. |
Z30 is blackberry10 not blackberry OS ramdris: |
Blackberry OS is not same as Blackberry10. Only a true blackberry fan knows blackberry os is different from blackberry10. |
@ op. The KSH conversion is at official rate. If you convert dollar to naira at official rate you will get similar figure. |
This is not as a result you are a nigeria, even if you are American or European, same thing will happens. You need to study their culture, women ask men out and any foreigners trying to take their women is a minus for the men. All those that attacked you don't need to be related to her. They attacked all nationality trying to marry their ladies. |

It is extended tenure for Wike since he won't be leaving office on May 2019, Apc will regret that. It will be another Fayose scenario |
Dotng:What I simply means is that you can reduce your card limit to maximum of $50 or lower so any one that get access to your information and try higher volume it will automatically get decline except it is within the limit you set. If you want to use it for higher transaction personally then you go to your gtb online account and increase your card limit. After your transaction then you can reduce it. The fact is that there is no immunity to anyone if it get to identify theft. Just need to smart and reduce the risk. |
OP. I had similar issue with GTB in July and I filled necessary form and GTB contacted I was also charge by same merchant on June and ask if I need refund for both, so I filled new form for both an GTB told me to wait for 45 days. I was debited from Poland and lo and behold when it is 48 days i got all my refund in full. Initially I wanted to post my issues on nairalad, but I gave them benefits of doubt. Just do what it is necessary to be done and limit your card transactions to like $50 per transaction and anytime u want to use it for high volume u need to login to your online account, this method works for GTB customers. I do everything via email without going to Bank premises. |

1. “It’s not fair.” Everyone knows that life isn’t fair. Saying it’s not fair suggests that you think life is supposed to be fair, which makes you look immature and naïve. If you don’t want to make yourself look bad, you need to stick to the facts, stay constructive, and leave your interpretation out of it. For instance, you could say, “I noticed that you assigned Ann that big project I was hoping for. Would you mind telling me what went into that decision? I’d like to know why you thought I wasn’t a good fit, so that I can work on improving those skills.” 2. “This is the way it’s always been done.” Technology-fueled change is happening so fast that even a six-month-old process could be outdated. Saying this is the way it’s always been done not only makes you sound lazy and resistant to change, but it could make your boss wonder why you haven’t tried to improve things on your own. If you really are doing things the way they’ve always been done, there’s almost certainly a better way. 3. “No problem.” When someone asks you to do something or thanks you for doing something, and you tell them no problem, you’re implying that their request should have been a problem. This makes people feel as though they’ve imposed upon you. What you want to do instead is to show people that you’re happy to do your job. Say something like “It was my pleasure” or “I’ll be happy to take care of that.” It’s a subtle difference in language, but one that has a huge impact on people. 4. “I think …/This may be a silly idea …/I’m going to ask a stupid question.” These overly passive phrases instantly erode your credibility. Even if you follow these phrases with a great idea, they suggest that you lack confidence, which makes the people you’re speaking to lose confidence in you. Don’t be your own worst critic. If you’re not confident in what you’re saying, no one else will be either. And, if you really don’t know something, say, “I don’t have that information right now, but I’ll find out and get right back to you.” 5. “This will only take a minute.” Saying that something only takes a minute undermines your skills and gives the impression that you rush through tasks. Unless you’re literally going to complete the task in 60 seconds, feel free to say that it won’t take long, but don’t make it sound as though the task can be completed any sooner than it can actually be finished. 6. “I’ll try.” Just like the word think, try sounds tentative and suggests that you lack confidence in your ability to execute the task. Take full ownership of your capabilities. If you’re asked to do something, either commit to doing it or offer an alternative, but don’t say that you’ll try because it sounds like you won’t try all that hard. 7. “He’s lazy/incompetent/a jerk.” There is no upside to making a disparaging remark about a colleague. If your remark is accurate, everybody already knows it, so there’s no need to point it out. If your remark is inaccurate, you’re the one who ends up looking like a jerk. There will always be rude or incompetent people in any workplace, and chances are that everyone knows who they are. If you don’t have the power to help them improve or to fire them, then you have nothing to gain by broadcasting their ineptitude. Announcing your colleague’s incompetence comes across as an insecure attempt to make you look better. Your callousness will inevitably come back to haunt you in the form of your coworkers’ negative opinions of you. 8. “That’s not in my job description.” This often sarcastic phrase makes you sound as though you’re only willing to do the bare minimum required to keep getting a paycheck, which is a bad thing if you like job security. If your boss asks you to do something that you feel is inappropriate for your position (as opposed to morally or ethically inappropriate), the best move is to complete the task eagerly. Later, schedule a conversation with your boss to discuss your role in the company and whether your job description needs an update. This ensures that you avoid looking petty. It also enables you and your boss to develop a long-term understanding of what you should and shouldn’t be doing. 9. “It’s not my fault.” It’s never a good idea to cast blame. Be accountable. If you had any role—no matter how small—in whatever went wrong, own it. If not, offer an objective, dispassionate explanation of what happened. Stick to the facts, and let your boss and colleagues draw their own conclusions about who’s to blame. 10. “I can’t.” I can’t is it’s not my fault’s twisted sister. People don’t like to hear I can’t because they think it means I won’t. Saying I can’t suggests that you’re not willing to do what it takes to get the job done. If you really can’t do something because you truly lack the necessary skills, you need to offer an alternative solution. Instead of saying what you can’t do, say what you can do. For example, instead of saying “I can’t stay late tonight,” say “I can come in early tomorrow morning. Will that work?” Instead of “I can’t run those numbers,” say “I don’t yet know how to run that type of analysis. Is there someone who can show me so that I can do it on my own next time?” 11. “I hate this job.” The last thing anyone wants to hear at work is someone complaining about how much they hate their job. Doing so labels you as a negative person and brings down the morale of the group. Bosses are quick to catch on to naysayers who drag down morale, and they know that there are always enthusiastic replacements waiting just around the corner. Bringing It All Together Eliminating these phrases from your vocabulary pays dividends. They have a tendency to sneak up on you, so you’re going to have to catch yourself until you’ve solidified the habit of not saying them. What other phrases should be on this list? Please share your thoughts in the comments section below as I learn just as much from you as you do from me. http://www.forbes.com/sites/travisbradberry/2015/09/02/11-things-smart-people-wont-say/2/ |

A man who saw his new wife for the first time without make up is reportedly SUING her for trauma, after being shocked at her appearance. The unnamed couple had just got married in Algeria and after spending the night together, the husband woke up to find his wife bare faced. But rather than admire her natural beauty, instead the man REFUSED to believe the woman was his wife, believing her to be a thief. Finally realising that this was in fact the woman he loved, the man is now allegedly suing her for fraud and “psychological suffering”. A source told Emirates 247: “He said he was deceived by her as she used to fill up her face with make up before their marriage. “He said she looked very beautiful and attractive before marriage, but when he woke up in the morning and found that she had washed the make-up off her face, he was frightened as he thought she was a thief.” The price of the husband’s “suffering” is £13,000. http://news.yahoo.com/groom-sues-new-wife-for-fraud-after-seeing-her-075109260.html

Before you go off judging this kid, please realize that he is from Florida. 19 year old Dupree Johnson of south Florida was arrested on 142 felony counts all because he had to show off to his friends on Instagram. He posted pictures of himself with his huge cache of stolen firearms (which means that many of the homes he robbed had guns that did no good), jewels and drugs. Mind you, this winner already had a rap sheet that included grand theft, burglary and felony possession of a firearm. But kids today, especially from the culture that I embedded myself in as a younger man, are more concerned with looking cool than looking smart. The smartest criminals I have known, well let’s just say you probably would have no idea that they were criminals. Based on his Instagram pictures, police obtained a search warrant and recovered about $250,000 worth the goods and enough evidence to pin him as the ring leader in several Palm Beach burglaries. According to several news reports, when the police asked him his occupation, he replied “thief.” I reply, only in Florida… http://worldofrevelations.com/?p=6137

Presidential source quoted as saying everything is being done to gain freedom of female students held by Boko Haram. Nigeria aims to secure the release of 200 women and girls abducted by the armed group Boko Haram by Tuesday, a man described as a "senior source at the presidency" has been quoted as saying. The man, who would not be named, told the Reuters news agency on Saturday that the government was "working hard to meet its own part of the agreement so that the release of the abductees can by effected either on Monday or latest Tuesday". The head of Nigeria's military, air chief marshal Alex Badeh, announced on Friday that authorities had reached a deal with Boko Haram for a ceasefire. The truce would enable the release of the women and girls kidnapped while taking exams in a secondary school from the remote northeastern town of Chibok in April. Officials at the presidency and the military did not immediately respond to a request for comment. Boko Haram, which conveys messages in videotaped speeches by a man claiming to be its leader, Abubakar Shekau, has also not yet commented on the ceasefire. Nigeria's military has previously claimed that both Shekau and men posing as him have been killed in operations, but security analysts have disputed this - casting doubt on the identity of the man in the videos. Some Nigerians are likely to greet claims of a ceasefire with scepticism after five years of violence, especially after suspected Boko Haram fighters were accused of launching a deadly attack on five villages on Saturday. Since the girls' abduction, Nigeria's military has twice claimed to have rescued some or all of the girls, only to back-track hours later. Several rounds of negotiations with Boko Haram have been attempted in recent years but they have never achieved a peace deal, partly because the group has several different factions. The group, whose name translates roughly as "Western education is sinful" has killed thousands of people in its struggle to carve an Islamic state out of religiously mixed Nigeria. http://m.aljazeera.com/se/20141018124034295251 |
