Tithe is for house of God and invariably to pastor, but only pastor that work full-time in the house of God, that is according to old testament.
In new testament you bring what you can afford to assist less privilege in the church, it can be les or more than 10 percent, but at the end of the day not a member of the church should go back home without knowing what to eat.
I will support the opinion of the poster, but he put it forward in the wrong way through tithe. Tithe is not relevant to new testament, but pastors this days show their skills and knowledge their this-days than the bible itself.

I'm not saying specifically for muslim, but wearing hijab in such a school is not breaking any dress code.

I did not support the action of the principal, but I need to hear other side of the story if she was caned 43 strokes or it was exaggerated. Nigeria is a secular state and promotion of religion in public places like school should follow certain guideline.
If the school is not specific for muslim such as Ansar-ul.deem grammar school, etc, then there is a code of not promoting religion in a school in form of dressing as a christian or muslim.

I subscribe for email alert all this year because I have mobile email alert, I don't know how of a sudden GTB add text to it and I'm not even in Nigeria. the first charge is 300 naira on my saving and put my current account in negative for sms charge because i don't put much money in it, I called them immediately to stop it because email alone is enough for me.
Under normal circumstances, it should be after sales service for customer at no cost, I have account here and i have never been charge a dime for more than 4 years fo alert.

They called me with their stupid number to advertise their product and I did let the call handler know what happened and that i will not reload on it till I left. She told me I subscribed for the service in November 2010, surprisingly I bought this line August 2011 and used it for 2 months and since 2008, I have not spent any days in Nigeria cos my free period always falls either June or December.

I called customer care and I was told to text STOP to 791 to stop it.

I'm presently in Nigeria and i have less than a month to return to my base. I have 2 lines and one of it is Airtel which i only use to received call from specific people and I received call from less than 5 people per day from it and all total call summary received is less than 15 mins per day.

I did not request for this service and hardly touch this phone except I have a call because it is a small phone and i have other smart phone with me. I called customer service and i was told to enjoy it for a month, which i declined because i have less than a month to left here. Customer care advise to send stop to 791 and that I can not get a refund that i should enjoy it which I know i can't enjoy what I did not subscribe for.

If anyone has experience this, kindly let me know because they do this like after 10 minutes i top up my line. If they do this to 1,000 customer is N100,000 and 10,000 customer is N1,000,000. If NCC stop them from doing promo they should take the war to NCC and not their customers.

Yes probably i agreed, not by what she saw but what some of her big sisters do to her constantly and she do it back to anyone that carry her.

From my own experience I think parent should try and do this without kids attention. There was a time when I was just like 15 yrs old and i carried a kid on my chest that can not be more than 2 yrs old and before i know she gave me a deep kiss, sincerely I never kissed anyone before that incident and I don't know what to do and I think she did what her sister normally do to her to me, and she can do it to anyone out of her ignorance and some people can not be trusted with kids.

A lone gunman at the center of a terrifying Friday morning Connecticut elementary school shooting here has been killed, authorities say.

Only in Nigeria picture is not a requirement, in many part of the world your resume is incomplete without a passport photograph. So i think the best option is to consider the culture and norm of the employer before deciding id passport photograph is necessary or not.

when I first read Bishop Oyedepo's assertion on this Convenant University project I know the statement was not complete due to the following reason.
1. If they did not collect the offering and special contributions does not mean that the church has not contributed to the building of Convenant University, congregations has been giving offering many years back , which is certainly part of the funds for this project.

2. Convenant University belongs to Winners Chapel, Winners Chapel are major stakeholder due to their investment in the University either directly or indirectly , all members of winners chapel are stakeholder in Convenant University and that is the sole reason the University is listed under non-for-profit organisation.

3. The bible says our God is not author of confusion, so Bishop should make a clear statement on public interest like this to clear the air and not to allow many people guessing who the fund the university project, church or other investors, such as bank.

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (AP) — A cargo ship sank Wednesday night after colliding with another vessel on the North Sea, and rescuers in helicopters and ships were plucking crew members from life rafts and searching for others, Dutch authorities said.
The 148-meter (485-foot) Baltic Ace collided with the 134-meter (440-foot) container ship Corvus J near busy shipping lanes some 65 kilometers (40 miles) off the coast of the southern Netherlands. The Baltic Ace, carrying a cargo of cars, had a crew of 24, some of whom were believed to be in the icy waters.
"We have found life rafts, and the people in them are being picked up by helicopters," coast guard spokesman Peter Verburg said.
By around 10 p.m. (2100 GMT) 11 crew members had been rescued by helicopters and two more by ships, the coast guard said in a statement. Rescuers were using infrared cameras to hunt for more survivors.
In a statement, the Dutch Defense Ministry said two navy patrol ships were aiding in the search. "Helicopters are trying, in (strong wind) and high waves to bring the people to safety," the ministry said.
Verburg said the 12-man crew of the Corvus J was still on board the ship, which was helping in the rescue operation. Details of its cargo were not immediately available. "It is badly damaged, but not in danger of sinking," he said of the Corvus J.
The coast guard spokesman said the cause of the collision was not known. "At the moment we are solely focused on getting the people to safety," he said.
Four of the survivors were being flown to a hospital in Rotterdam and seven to an airbase in Belgium.

Payment is always base on number of time the instrumentalist performed in a month, i don't it there should be a fixed salary due to instrumentalist having under assignment somewhere. If the instrumentalist is under contract of service, the contract should be respected by the church.
