I'm really impressed by Anambra people, they get it.
Peter Obi is the only igbo man that can have my vote come 2019.

In sane climates he would be fast tracked as a presidential candidate but here everything is based on ethnicity so 2019 is not yet his "time" according to certain sections.

I'll take an honest old man any day over a young thief. And vise versa. Let's not get caught up in the obvious but rather dig deeper and vote based on real plans and policies. We've been robbed by the young and old in recent times.

Is his job restricted to passing budgets?

Is he the only one to approve the budget?

When people can't make cogent points they resort to insults. All of your talking points are straw men at best. Try again.

Why should they pass the budget in the first place.

The legislature is not a rubber stamp for high handed executive. If other resolutions as mandated by the law is not followed by the executive why should they waste their time.

The constitution that says government expenditure must be ratified by the legislature before spending is the same constitution that says President appoints upon confirmation by Senate.

Personally, I think the legislature should just move on. The executive are not ready for governance.

They are just trying to create an Idol in buhari.

In your bid to hastily insult me you've rushed to an early demise. Where did I say they should rubber stamp the budget. I stated it should be harmonized. In other words they should have already concluded work and at the very least debated their own submitted budget with the executive.

Don't be so quick to insult. It's not your color. It doesn't look good on you. Peace.

These are our elected officials who received ton of money yearly? He can blow a whistle but can't harmonize and pass a budget after 4 months? I hate these people with a passion. Even more their defenders who argue among themselves while the NASS eats our treasury.

Politics / Re: Can This Happen In Nigeria? Lessons From The French Election. by LoveMachine(m): 1:06pm On Apr 24, 2017
Moves like that are nearly impossible in a country where everything is viewed through the lens of ethnicity. France is somewhat monolithic. Nigeria is anything but. As a country we are not worried about a job well done. We are worried about a job done by who. Until we are result oriented and black first we have a long hard road ahead to no where fast.

Nope. Anambra' finest! These guys don't have the interests of their people at heart they just want money and are the attack dog of the evil hidden hand that has been pulling the strings of this ill fated country for far too long. All they know is violence. Whether elections, negotiations, land disputes, cultism, etc. All they do is make the lives of regular deltans miserable.

https://www.nigeriatoday.ng/2017/04/massive-federal-projects-lined-up-for-rivers-in-2017-budget-abe/

How can the FG implement plans without a budget? If they go outside the law PMB is a tyrant. If the stay within the law they are called dullards and unserious. NASS has sat on this budget since December throwing a temper tantrum because they aren't getting to loot freely like before.

You have eyes. You haven't seen Talba getting his deserved efcc visits? Look at the massive amounts of money being found? Look at Babachir, Malabu and NIA.

If he convicts people without due process he's a tyrant. If he follows the bloated and drawn out process then he's a joke. Some people see no good in this life. It is well.

Super correct.

You nailed it totally.

If we are going to move forward collectively we mustquit playing by the rules and political tags (more like leashes) tied to us by Nigeria.

Enough of rhetorics like "ndi-abia" or "ndi-anambra" or "ndi enugu" and ndi-whatnot.

Time to legitimize ndi'igbo and shun the silly political divisions/tags that have been used to keep us in check for 50 years.
