IN my opinion, Nigeria generates Trillions of naira annually as budgets, and we are only 150millon population..

If you Share N1trillion Naira amongst 150million people, nothing less than N1m will get to each and everyone..

So, A way forward?
That's the concept of aggregated strength. Think of a hair brush. Your head had millions of hair follicles. Their are thousands of bristles. But with the combined judicious usage of the bristles all of your hair is neatly maintained. Naija has and makes more than enough money to sustain the populace The money just hasn't been properly spent.

Firstly, I am not a supporter of all this whole protests, Rule of law and due process is the best method in resolving any issue!
- I want to give a Stern Warning To All South Westeners and Northeners on Nairaland who are using the "Asaba Massacre" as a Joke on Biafra thread to STOP IT and the mods should always do something about it.
- As a Proud Anioma guy, It is very insultive and annoying to laugh about people who were massacred in cold blood! SHOW SOME RESPECT.
If you want to comment on any anti Biafra thread, do that but never you joke with the "Asaba Massacre" again.
The FG should declare Federalism, so that all states can have a control of its own resources!
Avoid Violence, Embrace Peace and Lastly, Love Conquers All.
It's easy to be a tough guy on the net. Every e-gangster has a banana clip in their keyboard. Some people just don't get it. This is no laughing matter. They'll learn. 'Preciate you spreading the gospel.

Nice post op. I've never gotten to see his works compiled. He did some nice work.

Now I'm no expert. Can someone explain to me whether he used the money properly or if these projects are unequal to the money his state grossed?

SLIDEwaxie:
Definition of a "DUNCE"...

a child that is slow, dull, weak intellect. A dullard or a dolt.

Definition of "INTELLECT"...

The faculty of thinking, judging, abstract reasoning and conceptual understanding.

Now, back to the matter:

We knw most of you are dunce. Right from barcanista (investigation before probe) down to his praisers.

Now, that Yoruba man, fashola, used a phrase: institutional process. That was where he proved he's more intellectually advance than your whole xxxx....

If you dnt knw wot that means: the ministry of information under Lagos state is an institution presided over by the commissioner of the same portfolio. His job is to disseminate information as deemed fit in relation to his yearly budget.

He will of course, be the one to sign the cheques without the governors consent. (Now, before you put on your dunce cap and start arguing that he is supposed to approve it, understand that he doesn't because commissioners are expected to work without supervision. The only area he must be aware is the issue of works and renovation. You cannot ask the president or the governor to section every billboards and posters and so on).

Back to basis:

Diezani headed the petroleum institution where she award contracts and sign cheques and the head. She doesn't need Jonathan to give her a go ahead. So, she is responsible for the fraud committed u der he u less she indicts the president.

Now, go get a real life.

We miss Sam Mbakwe, most governors during his era performed wonderfully well....

All present Governors can hardly be compared to governors in that era... Greed and corruption rules the day now..

Our Youths mostly under the payroll of these greedy politicians will always support them at all cost.. Wailers supporting PDP at any cost and supporters of APC supporting APC at any cost...

The reason Africa has been kept down by the neocolonialist whites, is because they know we are a brillant and formidable people.
Watch out in a few years when we have things in place our progress will be unmatched. Our country and continent has too many bright minds. Go anywhere in the world where Black people are in favorable environments and see the things we are able to produce.

Why will you join in promoting lies? You claim GEJ did not give a handover note, just less than 5 months from when it was all over the news that he did. Please see links below

www.premiumtimesng.com/news/headlines/183804-breaking-jonathan-formally-submits-handover-notes-to-buhari.html

www.vanguardngr.com/2015/07/why-reps-asked-buhari-to-publish-jonathans-handover-note/

There is hardly a newspaper that has not this story and more. Please be honest with yourself.
Maaaaaaaan I said he gave the handover notes late not that he didn't give them at all. Stop it man.

OldJohn:
I thought the leakages have been blocked?? Or ar you saying that after over four months of allegations, investigations and media trials, that this government doesn't have a clue where these monies are escaping from our economy??
I'm saying that if the money hadn't been taken prior to this new administration we wouldn't be wanting for money. The amounts that have been reported to have been looted would be enough to fund multiple budgets. Oil was at $150+ at one point and yet we have nothing to show for it? Where did the money go? Still no roads? Still no water? Still no electricity? This can't be correct.

People can get mad if they want but GEJ set everything back by not giving handover notes and postponing the election by 6 weeks. By those actions we have been knocked off by atleast 10 weeks. Imagine if we were at this stage in July. Instead we find ourselves here in October. I won't crown this new regime yet but I will most certainly give them my vote of confidence to make our home perfect. I gave GEJ a chance now I will give PMB a chance.

I'm not speaking on anything that I can't confirm through news clippings and empirical evidence. Kachikwu has stated that a new audit must be done to fully understand what has gone awry. A decade plus of mismanagement is quite a task to handle. Slow and steady wins the race. Measure thrice cut once.

edit: My bad the notes were given a few weeks late but they were given. I meant to type that originally but made a mistake. SirBrightoc thank you pointing that out.
Politics › Re: SHOCKER!!! Nigerian Economy In SERIOUS MESS!!! by LoveMachine(m): 9:21am On Oct 12, 2015
This cash shortage has occurred in all oil dependent economies. The only difference is we have alleged leakages that have been calculated to run into billions of dollars. If we had a cushion of at least $20 billion, which is on the low end of what is being said to have been looted, the drop in oil prices wouldn't be an issue. We've survived worse with terrible leadership. We will be juuuuuust fine. grin
