Not sure if I need to add this but I'm 100% Igbo and I am very content with the appointments. I know some people who know some people and things are about to get moving in a big way. |

Niger Govt. completes repairs of water facilities The Niger Water Board has said that it has completed repair of existing water pumping facilities across the state to ensure adequate water supply to the people. The board’s General Manager, Alhaji Hassan Muhammad, told the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Minna on Tuesday that Gov. Abubakar Bello was passionate about providing portable water for the people. According to him, this is why we embarked on repairs and maintenance of our pumping machines, electrical motors, generators and electrical panels. Muhammad said the job carried out on the facilities across 70 water works in the state lasted between September and October. Muhammad explained that inadequate water supply in some cases in the state was caused by obsolete machines and dams and lack of water reticulation in some areas due to damaged water pipes. ``The last water treatment plant in the state was installed in 1995, while one of the oldest dams that supply water to Bosso treatment plant was established in 1949,’’ he said. He said that government had invited some water supply companies to work with the water board to expand the facilities in the state. The general manager said that government was preparing water supply investment plan which would attract and guide water investors in the state. Muhammad also said that government was making arrangement to key into the National Urban Water Sector Reform Project in order to attract foreign partners toward regenerating the water sector. NAN reports that Bello had visited the water treatment facilities across the state to get first hand information since he took over from former Gov. Babangida Aliyu. (NAN) |

Nigeria: Two Uac Directors Join Buhari's Cabinet Two Directors of UAC of Nigeria Plc (UAC), Senator Udoma Udo Udoma and Dr. Okechukwu Enyinna Enelamah have been formally confirmed by the Senate as ministers in President Muhammadu Buhari's cabinet. Udoma, an accomplished lawyer and two-time Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, joined the Board of UAC of Nigeria Plc in 1995 and was appointed as the non-Executive Chairman of the Board with effect January 2,2010. He is also the non-Executive Chairman of Union Bank Plc and serves on the board of Unilever Nigeria Plc. Founding Partner of Udo Udoma & Belo-Osagie, a foremost legal firm in the country, Udoma has served the nation in very many capacities. He was the pioneer Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission; served for four years as the non-executive chairman of the board of the Securities & Exchange Commission (SEC) and was also Chairman of the Task Force on the Petroleum Industry Bill. On the other hand, Enelamah, who joined the UAC Board in 2010, first graduated as a medical doctor before qualifying as a chartered accountant. He has an MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School, Massachussetts, USA and is also a chartered financial analyst. He is the Chief Executive Officer of African Capital Alliance Limited (ACA), a leading private equity firm. He also worked for leading outfits including Arthur Andersen and Goldman Sachs and currently serves on the Board of several Companies and not-for-profit organisations. UAC said in a statement that it received the news of the development as a further mark of recognition of the depth of quality of its human capital and its ability to contribute to critical national moments in the country's history. In the past, UAC's contributions to the public sphere has been well heralded, especially with the appointment of Chief Ernest Adegunle Shonekan as the Head of the National Interim Government and Commander-in-Chief of the nation's Armed Forces as well as the appointment of late Mr Isaac Aluko-Olokun as Minister of National Planning. Both were serving UAC senior managers when they were called up for national service. Speaking on the development, Group Managing Director/CEO of UAC, Mr. Larry Ettah, said: "At UAC, the exit of the directors will no doubt be missed. Nigeria's gain will not be UAC's loss but its donation as a responsible corporate citizen of men of consummate talent and good stewards of capital to the stand out performance that is required to build a new Nigeria and a more enabling commonwealth for all citizens - both individual and corporate. Their appointment is a further validation that UAC, as reflected in its history, remains an incubator of national leadership, integrity, character and service." http://allafrica.com/stories/201511021340.html |

http://tribune.com.pk/story/981270/will-side-with-israel-in-case-of-war-with-palestine-says-saudi-prince/ Saudi prince al Waleed bin Talal denies making pro-Israel statements Saudi Prince al Waleed bin Talal, one of the richest businessmen in the world, has denied making statements in support of Israel, while slamming the news publication AWDNews for repeatedly targeting him. A statement given to CCN Arabic by the prince’s private office said the article by AWDNews was “completely bogus and untrue,” adding that Prince Alwaleed had not spoken to the Kuwaiti media outlet mentioned in the article or made any of the statements attributed to him. Prince Alwaleed’s office pointed out that the site in question had “repeatedly spread false and fabricated material about Prince Alwaleed without confirming the authenticity with his office.” Saudi prince’s convoy triggered Hajj stampede: report Earlier, AWD News reported that the Saudi prince had said that he would side with Israel in case of a Palestinian uprising and that he would attempt to break any Arab initiatives set to condemn the Jewish nation. “I will side with the Jewish nation and its democratic aspirations in case of outbreak of a Palestinian Intifada (uprising),” bin Talal was quoted as saying by Kuwaiti Al Qabas daily. I am a prince and I do what I want, said drugged-up Saudi royal “I shall exert all my influence to break any ominous Arab initiatives set to condemn Tel Aviv, because I deem the Arab-Israeli entente and future friendship necessary to impede the Iranian dangerous encroachment,” he added. According to the AWDNews, the prince and entrepreneur urged the Saudi Kingdom to devise a new strategy to combat Iran’s increasing influence in Gulf States by forging a defense pact with Tel Aviv to deter any possible Iranian moves in the light of unfolding developments in Syria and Moscow’s military intervention. The Saudi prince is on a regional tour, visiting the other Gulf Arab littoral states–Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and Oman–to muster support for Saudi-backed rebels in Syria, reported the daily. Saudi prince held in record Beirut airport drug bust “The whole Middle East dispute is tantamount to matter of life and death for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia from my vantage point, and I know that Iranians seek to unseat the Saudi regime by playing the Palestinian card, hence to foil their plots Saudi Arabia and Israel must bolster their relations and form a united front to stymie Tehran’s ambitious agenda,” Kuwaiti News Agency (KUNA) reported him as saying on Tuesday. |

PappyMason:I don't agree but I'm not spending anymore time talking about another man's money. A multi mega millionaire at that? Peace. |
PappyMason:Have you seen his jewelry? He buys things that hold value. No aftermarket work. Everything is factory set. His jewelry appreciates. If you notice the majority of his stuff has heavy stones. Those hold serious value. People who lose money when they liquidate are the ones who buy pieces with low karat weight but a ton of stones. They end up spending money for getting thousands of stones set. He aint shopping at Tiffany's either. |
PappyMason:The jewelry holds value. He's a boxer not a tycoon. He can liquidate the jewelry. If he invests in businesses that go bellyup he's left with nothing. In regards to the strippers, I've heard of the strippers giving back a percentage to the ballers who toss money in the club. That's what my homies in ATL call a finesse. He's made 100's of millions he will be fine. That's really only 10k. ALL 1 DOLLAR BILLS! G stacks look huge but it's all for show. |
PappyMason:That's a tax writeoff. He uses that a business expense. If he doesn't spend it the Feds are taking the money come tax time. The same with his jewelry. Those are used as "promotion" so they can be written off. He's no dummy. His Black manager Al Haymon is Harvard educated. Floyd will be fine. |
The ending was worth it. ![]() |
