Insight Communications is an advert company. They were the ones that are behind the bank PHP advert, Indomie ad ans omany others. Wish you guys all the best. |
@poster Really you can have the best of both worlds. You can study Computer Engineering but also do what a computer scientist is doing. The major difference between both courses is that there is a lot of proramming in computer science (though in Nigeria universities they teach outdated programs) while in computer engineering you deal with the hardware aspect. I studied Computer Science but i know the internal workings of a computer system. The school did not teach me the computer engineering aspect but i wanted to know it, so i had to learn it outside school. So really you can read computer engineering and then learn how to program as well. That way u can fit in anywhere. |
@mmonwuba I am sorry to tell you that unfortunately you can not get the ip address of the radio unless the person who changed it tells you the ip address. But you can reset the radio. Which radio are you using? |
KodeArena 2.0, is the second edition of the all-Nigerian software developer conference, which started last year in the rather quiet town of Abeokuta. The current event, however, promises to draw a bigger and badder crowd of experienced software practitioners, enthusiastic newbies as well as sharp-eyed head-hunters (we sincerely hope), coming together to talk (argue more like) technology, how to boost our earning power without recourse to motivational speaking, exchange information and (mostly) open-source tools, draw blood in the code jam, criticize lousy coding, and generally make a very bad attempt at looking hip. In other words, we're going to enjoy Programmers' heaven for one whole day. See you there mates. |

Show Commands to display system information in flash memory - show flash to display contents of NVRAM - sh version or show start to display interface status - show run to show everything in the DRAM or show interface (interface u want to verify or troubleshoot eg sh int e0) For your other questions to display active process and configurations for a router, you would have to be more specific. I dont know which materials you are using but if u are using Sybex Cisco Certified Network Associate Study Guide 5th Edition by Todd Lammle then this configs are in chapters 4 and 9. Get a good learning centre where live routers are available for students to play around with and you would get used to the configs. I usually dont advise people to cram cos u might forget or mix it up when under exam tension. Hope you know the exams are going to be changed come the 6th of November so get the new syllabus and the new materials. For the syllabus go the the cisco site. |
@poster Attend the interview. If offered the job take it (we are talking 2.8 PA here). u can always ask NIIT to convert the full time program to a part time one. i know they do it a lot. But if they refuse u can always afford to pay with your killer salary. You know it is really not easy getting a job, certification or not especially if u do not have experience in that particular field Wish the best in your interview. |
