The day Africa will move forward is when we finally understand that leadership is a state of servitude and not rulership. |
Hi everyone, I'll get straight to the point. It's clear that tribalism has greatly harmed Nigeria, yet many people would rather ignore this and avoid facing the reality of fixing it. Unfortunately, at this stage, fixing the situation seems almost impossible. I was born and raised in Lagos, and for a long time, I had hope that Nigeria would improve. I was one of those who used to say I would never leave the country, especially since I had a good job and my family wasn’t lacking the basic things that many Nigerians struggle with. However, everything changed when the current president, a man whose leadership is marked by greed and ineptitude, came into power. Things took a turn for the worse, and I told myself and my family that if we didn’t leave, we’d eventually regret staying. We made plans quickly and moved to Switzerland through the educational route (family of four: husband, wife, and two adult children). We didn’t fall for the scams from fake agents in places like Ikeja, and thankfully, we made it out. Hearing about the struggles that Nigerians are facing under the current government makes me feel both sad and frustrated. The fuel hikes, the lack of accountability, and the hardship caused by the leadership, especially from the president and his supporters(THE YO RU BAS,VERY BLOCK HEAD SET OF HUMAN) , are appalling. It’s painful to watch as the suffering continues, and people refuse to stand up for what’s right due to tribal loyalty. It's time for Nigerians to wake up. If fuel prices reach ₦5,000 per liter, will that be the point where people start to act? The current price of ₦1,000 is already unbearable for many, yet the silence continues. Tribalism is blinding us from seeing the bigger picture, and if people don’t stand up and fight for their rights soon, things will only get worse. For those who feel hopeless, if you can find a way to secure funding, consider leaving the country and seeking better opportunities elsewhere. Nigeria, as it stands, is a sinking ship, and it’s important to think about your future and that of your family. |
OGA do not say what you don not know and shut up .which culture shock pass the one you are facing in Nigeria It’s easy to say baba! To you, going abroad is like making it in life.. a 32 year old can definitely school, but I am simply telling the guy as it is. He will definitely face some psychological pressure, it depends on how he handles it. So it’s better he knows everything at hand before he makes that move. The cultural shock is there too. He has spent all his life in Nigeria and moving to a new culture to start life all over again, it’s tough! And the country he goes matters too, probably some countries in Europe might help a bit, but I won’t advise countries like UK, and the Americas for that kind of journey[/quote] |
And better leave Canada alone o ..if you like yourself ...focus on EUROPE |
