Good day guys, last time i promised to get to abuja and get to the embassy and force my way abt this appointment stuff, i dnt knw hu deleted it.
Anyways, am in Abj now, we fought until the rain came, the consulate heard our voice and knew we came, he said we can come tomorrow or next bcuz today was horrible due to the break last week, 300+ ppl in there.
We without appointments were screened off, with many battling with few days to e-visa expiration. Now, here are some news i brought as promised;
1. Please it is not advisable to send WhatsApp appointments more than once.
2. If you feel like you have sent the appointment and is atleast more than 2weeks, ur best guess will be to go tje embassy and meet them.
3. Thou i didnt confirm, a guy got e-visa to dubai today and according to the policy that came with it, no need of going to Embassy, get the printout and travel.
Thats all i have for today, we shall proceed for tmao, please wish us luck.

They will help you unlaminate it and even staple it self! It's best if you don't react to this, if you really want to get your certificate early.

Please explain more what you mean by "It's best if you don't react to this, if you really want to get your certificate early".

Once is your turn, your passport will be scanned, your address and phone number imputed then your finger print taken, this is after you must have done your payment with your card.
How many days and how fare is the queue there

Hello guys, I've gotten my 3 months visa but so bothered about all these agents stuff demanding money help you get a job. For guys already in UAE is it advisable to pay an agent or one can come and search for job by himself without using an agent. How easy is it?
Please guy, how did u go about it, share with us, the amount you spent there and how long it took you to get an appointment
Travel / Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Loverswater(m): 1:51pm On Aug 18, 2018

Yes, Biometric, which is 25100naira which would be debited from your personal MasterCard via pos, this is after you have gotten an appointment via WhatsApp.

Thanks for your response but must it be a master card?
And i have sent a message to the whatsapp number for appointment and nothing yet. Any other means of appointment?
Travel / Re: QATAR AND UAE GENERAL VISA ENQUIRIES Part 3 by Loverswater(m): 2:38pm On Aug 16, 2018
Please, i was directed to go to the embassy to get my passport stamped for my visiting visa of 3months, but all these trend talks about is mostly work visa and in that effect am meaning to ask if there are additional payment to be made for the visa payment in abuja and how much if any

It has been God my people. My first interview was on July 19, which I was given 214B. I was denied, I wasn't myself but my uncle ask me to back that is because of the way I dressed. No tie, no suit.... Hmmmmmm
I applied the second time with all determination that I will get it right, which I fixed for August 2nd, 12:45pm. On getting to the embassy, I met two people that was given rejection letter. I was like wahoo ooooo, third time and fourth time, o GA ooooooo. By 12:30pm I went inside after the checking stuff. My fingers was was scanned and waiting for interview proper. The VO that interview me the last time was there but I was not afraid. I was eventually moved to another VO.... My transcript..
It was God indeed

VO: afternoon
Me: afternoon sir
VO: going to US to do what?
Me: for bachelor of science degree in Nursing at NCCU
VO: what will you do after your program?
Me: come back to Nigeria in helping Nigeria govt and WHO in eradicating disease, maternal mortality.... VO cut in
VO: what is maternal mortality?
Me: death rate doing child birth
VO: Why this school?
Me: there research work on disease and child birth has been so great
VO: how did you come about the school?
Me: my uncle told me about the school and I look it up on usnews.com for more information about the school
VO: who is your sponsor?
Me: my uncle
VO: did your uncle school in US?
Me: yes
VO: Name of the school
Me: UNC
VO: what is the location of the school ( the town)?
Me: chapel hill,NC
VO: what type of nurse will you like to become?
Me: psych nurse
VO: what is psych nurse?
Me: nurse that deal with mentally retarded person. You help them bathe, stooling, urinate
VO: ok ok ok, what does your uncle do for a leaving?
Me: he is a nurse
VO: TYPING....ok ok, how old are you?
Me: 28
VO was just typing and I was praying... Praying

You will need this at POE, visa approved

I was happy and crying... I wanted to leave that interview hall when I first enter because someone said I never sign the the guardian side on my I-20.

Don't be discouraged, have courage, never lie, leave all to God

I de fear nurses, seems d VO is an accountant afterall, if u had meet one in d field, it might be bad/good but God is ur father, and u knw him well.....
u mentioned two different reasons for going to US n coming bk.....which sounds controversial (help reduce deathrate n then be a psychiatric nurse

Wow!!!Fastest growing thread on Nairaland .My testimony once again while trying to make it as short and concise as possible. It had always been my dream to study in the USA. I landed in USA August 5th 2016.
But this USA dream officially started in 2012 after I graduated from the Uni.
I enrolled for IELTS.
it was now time for me to evaluate my transcript but you won't believe that my prestigious Uni was telling me that my transcript was nowhere to be found and that it was missing. Hnmmmmmmmmm immediately I heard that, I tried conserving my energy by first swallowing spit spontaneously such as you would expect in an endothermic reaction. about seven months passed by and my transcript was still nowhere to be found then I became ' mad'. It was really frustrating all which I explained to God......after which I called a family lawyer who in turn wrote my school giving them a deadline if not they would have to appear in court.( Mind you I had my bsc certificate, statement of result) but they couldn't just find my transcript). To cut the long story short, I got my transcript the second day the letter got to them at the Senate. It was God alone.
fast forwarded
I evaluated my transcript applied to my school and I got admission. During my application to my school, I met Dannybrown19 on here who also happened to be in my school and that was how I met him...
on Nairaland...... he assisted me with so many things the payment of my sevis.... my housing application etc
above all... I was in his house with one other Nigerian guy for weeks sleeping, eating, browsing for FREE....Mind you he left the comfort of his bedroom for me he was staying in the sitting room all through those times..he put us through most things.... got an on campus job for us etc.
Not only that, he was carrying us out in his car to do some basic settling down.... all for free.
You people should please tell him thank you and God bless him on my behalf. ( If you no know anybody for where you dey go.) abeg carry money.
When I left Danny's house and got an appartment, I had to call a cab to most places that I went to which cost me $5 per route ... then I realised how much I would have spent if I had been carrying cab all these while.
Fastforwarded again..
The next day I came to USA I went to see one of my professors who had earlier given me a little tuition waiver but after our conversation I realised that was the only thing he could offer at that time.
The following week the man called myself and one other Nigerian guy, he offered us 1/4 GA. ( which means five hours/ week and it won't reduce our tuition)
We go dey teach one undergraduate class but the money dey very small as we no get choice we had to collect it with all our might and thanked him.

FINANCES.. I reserve my comments....
But what I realised was, in my school, you could set up an installmental payment to pay the first semester.. paying it like three times. Mind you I'm not encouraging you to come without money likewise you dont have to be in """Dangote's"""" lineage to study in the USA. At least my surname and others I've seen here is not ""Dangote''''.
Above all I give God all the glory, thanks and adoration to Him alone be all praises.
Thank you and God bless you..

Can we get the name of the school?

That explains why you didn't see any change. Your OND+HND cgpas are on the 4 point scale already and probably need no conversion.

Can u elaborate more on that?

I-20 is a document sent by the school that has admitted you showing details like your name, course, estimated duration of the course, latest date of arrival/resumption to the school, total fee as well as the source of funds amongst others. It's a very important document such that failure to present it @ the embassy for Visa purpose or @ the Port of Entry would cause one to be denied Visa or entry into the US.

Devote time (probably @ your leisure) to read through the previous parts of the thread. I'm sure you'll get the processes involved and how it works.

thanx bro
