Kindly advise which city you would recommend for a female friend of mine to live and work in for one year as a freelancer. She works remotely and also has a practical hand skill. I would appreciate your recommendation based on factors such as safety, cost of living, business opportunities, and overall quality of life. |

Hello everyone just submitted at TLS Abuja everything went smooth they are very professional now but the security guys inside still confuse applicants. The payment desk and doc verification desk was successful and I was ask if I had passport photograph which I did and was accepted new form was printed from their system and the photo was pinned on it. I proceeded to biometrics done and dusted document packed and received inside biometric office. Heading out I saw security telling people who passport photo were accepted to still come and take picture. Which look strange to me. Please whoever submitted in Abuja after your passport photo has been approved do you still snap at the door where securities were standing and ordering u to go back inside. I believe that is only applicable to people their passport photo was rejected. |

algomachine: Nice, update us when you make the purchase, I’m also torn between a RAV4 2017 and an MDX 2017, like Toyota’s reliability but hate its dull driving All the comment am seeing so far is 50/50..i no want car part wei go scarcely expensive and no tokunbo secondhand part.i did so much youtube research na indians and small set of southafrican dei talk about the fortuner..though its a superb SUV and super strong the wahala be expensive part according to one commentor here.. i might go for highlander 2015 but i need to super double my hussle because that one for jiji na 28m. |

Bjornson01: A majority of Fortuner users at least in Abuja where I reside are assigned to top government officials in federal ministries(Directors, Deputy Directors) as their official or project vehicles, and these things were bought brand spanking new, all funded thanks to the state budget. Thank you for the insight this is such an eye opener in a nutshell una say make I respect myself with this car unless I get millions for akants for parts and maintenance |

MDX 2015 BRO...don't know why there isn't lots of Tokunbo Fortuner, based on research i learnt its wasn't produced in America and Japan if am not wrong?.. yes good for offroad because the road to my house is very bad and for now i always work on legs for my CRV every time na noise for leg.. i didnt check the fuel consumption rate i will research on that...i hope i can get MORE opinions about this fuel issue
Why not use the extra funds and relocate to a good environment with better roads and manage your Honda? Hmm well you’re making sense too but car is a man’s toy |
Autos › Re: Toyota Fortuner 2015 VS MDX ACURA by lovetterrison(op): 9:51pm On Jun 26, 2025 |
nurey: Yes the 2015 design has been running for 10years now.
The body parts are expensive because 2015 body like doors, headlamps, windscreen fork for the 2025 model. Just minor changes and cosmetic facelifts.
Also since they didn't sell it in US, parts are majorly brand-new so expect high prices.
It shares chassis with Hilux so suspension parts maybe cost effective. That 4cylinder 2TR take good care of it because the price fit Kee person even the 4.0L 1GR engine too cost That car don enter my eye walahi . But this part issue maaannnn. The car coming from distance looks intimidating, but it’s assembled in SA. Are there much users in Nigeria |

nurey: The Fortuner body parts are insanely expensive.
Luxury I give it to the MDX, it is also reliable but not as much as the Fortuner.
Can't talk much on the Fortuner cause the ones we have are brand-new but they rarely give issues Body part insanely expensive ? Jesu …it’s a 2015 I meant ? |

techbro1: Insane fuel economy? 😂😂 have you owned one before? Those things are terrible on gas. Whether it’s 2.7L or 4.0, it’s a gas hog. Still much better than the MDX anyway Really … you mean it consumes fuel than CRV Honda or it’s on same scale |

Zidac: 2015 Fortuner SUV is a very good car with an insane fuel economy. A very reliable car and it doesn't come cheap at all. Acura MDX on the hand is also good but less reliable but provides comfort and extreme driving experience.
I'm interested in your 2010 Crv should you want to sell Thank you for this positive review yeppeee was expecting this I am so much saving for the fortuner saw few on Jiji 16m no be beans but God go do am. For my CRV I want to sell to person wei value car and maintain car well my CRV is like a baby I treat her with utmost care … my engine oil na 0w20 total on a regular just imagine. |

Elxandre: Acura MDX of which year are you talking about?
Didn't know Fortuner was cheaper than Highlander BTW. Just checked and saw it has a 4L V6. That's a lot of fuel. Also it has just 240hp or something which means it's not really meant for cruising but more for off road duties. It should last long though. The MDX is nearly 300hp. I believe you'd enjoy the Acura better driving wise. The Toyota might generally give lesser issues overall sha. MDX 2015 BRO...don't know why there isn't lots of Tokunbo Fortuner, based on research i learnt its wasn't produced in America and Japan if am not wrong?.. yes good for offroad because the road to my house is very bad and for now i always work on legs for my CRV every time na noise for leg.. i didnt check the fuel consumption rate i will research on that...i hope i can get MORE opinions about this fuel issue |
