U know women mostly don’t care about car maintenance. It might b that the car was last serviced last year. Even if the odometer has been doctored, it might still be less than 200k for real. The check engine might be catalyst ( Indomie) in Nigeria language. Let a panel bitter check it and d other sign stands for Day running light. It’s either d bulbs are bad, fuse or relay. D engine is K24 which is quite rugged and can move very fast. Just do all necessary checks, u won’t regret buying.

My first SUV is Toyota Highlander '05,I can't really say I enjoyed driving this vehicle. It came with a 13 pin gear and anytime I change the shaft the gear has to be reprogramed. The gear started having issue to the extent that my mechanic advised me to change the gear box to a 10 pin.

I really want Nairalanders to suggest the brand of a mid range SUV that doesn't give much issue.

Not at all. AWD system stands for All wheel drive. AWD always driving all four wheels but many 4x4 systems need to be activated by the driver, I haven't heard of any complain from pple driving AWD for CRV. Do your personal homework and let pple who owns from 2007 - 2010 talk about their experience. Am not sure CRV have 4x4 but AWD yes.

I’m about to purchase one too but my challenge after taking mechanic there is , there is lil oil spill under engine ,dash board showing DRL and check engine , lil noise from hub , owner (a woman ) claims AC needs gas but I dei fear make e no be say the engine no fit carry load again… but bro when we test the car na machine ..my mechanic confirm the car. I just dei confuse now , mileage 130k…. Car manufactured in Japan 11/07 crv exl @ 1.8

Please @gazzuz my Oga pls help a brother out I check out a CRV 2008 yesterday about to pay but the woman claim AC has no gas that it works, I saw check engine and DRL display on dash board, hub making lil noise , engine revs very good and move fast but I saw oil splash around the lining of the top cylinder and oil leak under the car she claim it might be power steering oil. And again it’s a FWD

Please help we concluded on 1.8 m don’t know if I should proceed or be patient for a better one ahead

I thought am the only person that did thorough findings regarding this car for weeks. But I must tell u, it’s such a cool ride. Especially, the full option that have navigation, open roof and leather seat. U have made d right choice bro and u will enjoy the car.

Nope.

I used 2 models of the car, the 2006 EX and 2008.

I can categorically tell you that the front control arm, shocks, inner fuse box are all different from the normal Civic. The inner fuse box of a normal might work but not all accessories will pick.

Also note.. The civic is a fantastic car.. Trust me.. But if you want a car that will give you some more mid level class.. Then the eagle spirit.. Also called evil spirit will do just that...

Honda Accord Evil spirit to be precise but skeptical due to the economy now and maintenance cost though i love the car, fast forward to my recent research i started surfing through the net about the pros and cons of the particular Honda civic availability of parts and repairs etc...
